I love the jumper dress! I could definitely see myself wearing it.
That knit dress is very bright! I would make a skirt with it.
I like that you said you were in one direction then went into another because upcycle is a creative process and art. Thank you for the videos. I love them!
I'm so glad you noticed that I said that and that is why I love upcycling and want to share it because I don't think most people know or use this art form and I know how fun it is and how much one can benefit from upcycling so I want to share it with everyone.
I often change direction but then feel it’s because I can’t focus but now I know I’m “normal” lol
That jumper dress is sooooo cute ❤
Please, please make a tutorial for a similar jumper…I love the knotted ties for the straps! It turned out fantastic!❤❤❤❤
I'm so glad you liked the jumper and I will try and get a tutorial out for it.
yes!!!! this is one of my favorites... very wearable & unique ! you go girl.....................
Thank you!
I love the moon on the back of the jumper!
That would make a beautiful lightweight cape and I bet the bodice portion could become a lined hood.
Oh or a one size fits all kimono jacket. It would be stunning with a solid black t and pants (assuming the background on the dress is black).
Your new jumper dress is really cute and I would love to see how you made it.
Those are some great ideas and I will try and make a tutorial on how I made it.
I would cut the shirt off and sew a graphic T to keep as a dress.
I have that same dress in a different print🩷 love the tunic you are wearing😊
The jumper is cute. Great way to use that overly thin fabric.
I think dresses with a t shirt top and different fabric skirt sewn in are nice. Could use the top of the dress that way, possibly adding vertical strips to make it larger. Then Do the dress'es skirt the other way, adding a top to the skirt
I actually think you and others will have far more creative ideas than mine.
I love your ideas! Thank you so much for sharing them and I'm so glad you liked my jumper dress!
I love the dress. Hope to see it in tutorial 😊
That’s super cute Sherry!
I can see making a poncho out of the skirt.
I can see this as a wrap skirt. Plenty of the fabric in the sleeves for a tie....even a biased pieced waist band ... multi sized? 😊
I'd like to see that as a crop top and culotte set. Big chunky denim cargo pockets down the sides on the pants with denim cuffs. Love how we all see something different in the potential. =)
I love those ideas and I agree, I love seeing how creative our community is here. I'm so blessed to be among you all!
Omg ❤ love the jumper too
Hope to see you make a tutorial about this one ❤️❤️❤️
I will try and get a tutorial on it as several have requested it and I'm so glad you liked it!
I love the jumper dress. Please do a tutorial!
Okay! I'm so glad you liked it!
this may be a jersey knit... it's a lot of fabric for sure... I would most likely think of making two items from this colorful fabric.
There is a lot there so my brain is still trying to figure it out as I could do so many things with it! It isn't super stretchy so I can use it in various ways too.
Love that jumper! Hope you’ll do a tutorial
love it !
Interesting jumper. The knit in the top must be very sturdy. I'm familiar with Lularoe, it was a MLM (multilevel marketing) company. Had interesting prints and most fabrics were soft and comfortable. I have no suggestions lol I don't have a serger so knits are not my friend at the moment.
I used a very sturdy knit that has little stretch for the top shirt. So far I've learned that sewing with really stretchy knits is possible and even enjoyable on the sewing machine with the walking foot but get a good one cause the cheap ones don't last.
LOVE the jumper!
Thank you!
@@SherryJonesDesigns You're welcome!
I really enjoy this series. The jumper is great, the yellow and denim are so good together.
One of the sewing channels that I watch who normally doesn't do up cycles turned her husband's shirt into a pair of cute shorts. I really like projects that are practical like that. I don't know if you could make shorts out of the dress. You could make a duster or cardigan out of the dress. I like things like that for early morning when it's cool here.
I'm so glad you are enjoying the series. I think your ideas would work great for the dress.
wauw you made something very beautifull from that shirt, I really love it! I am in love with the aplication, but I am not that good sewer and don't know how to do them.
For the dress I would made a skirt , shorten it, make rushes, make it boho, I know not really exiting, but I lack fantasy regarding sewing, I am still learning :-)
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. It is amazing how when we all post ideas and then read them all, how our imaginations can grow and improve! So thank you so much for sharing and I'm sure in time you will sew wonderfully. One must give oneself room and time to grow.
Hello. Take a man's long t-shirt make a 20's style drop waist dress. Add fabric trim to sleeve maybe trim neck line.
I love that idea!
what if you used your pattern of a shirt sleeve and cut up the dress and used some pieces of it to make a tunic??
You amaze me. Love the knots on the ties
🤗
Thank you!
Yes, I would wear a jumper dress like that. It's cute. It would be cool and comfortable in the Summer. You could try making a pair of half circle legged pants, or a loose pullover blouse out of that dress. You might be able to use it for lining fabric or trim fabric (to jazz up something plain). I avoid buying anything made from that type of fabric.
I'm so glad you liked the jumper and I like your ideas for the dress.
I might make coordinating outfits for 2 girls - sisters or besties or for a cousins picture. peplum, twirly skirt, accents on a shirt (yoke or ruffle sleeves or something). It looks like a comfy fabric and there's a fair amount. Or, to sell, shorten it, make it into a pencil skirt with a slit, give it a low neck and use the cut-away to make a mock turtle neck above the sexy cleavage. just attach with straps over the shoulders, Someone will like a sexy rose dress
Those are all lovely ideas. It is a pretty print. If my girls were young again I would surely be making them cute outfits with it.
