That's an interesting top. I would probably need a longer ruffle. I have a vest that I have been hanging onto for 30 years. I just love the print, I bought it new in a dept store. But sadly vests never made a comeback. Any idea what to do with it? It has the points on the bottom front, and the fabric is directional. The back is a plain satin lining type material that could be sacrificed. I would love to see your idea of a remake for dated vests.

That would be cool with a T-shirt as the center. And longer lol.

Facepalm! I just made two similar blouses using McCall 7325 and it never occurred to me to use it to up cycle something I already owned! This is going to be a game changer!

serged edges are like a saw blade scraping my skin - I don't know how people wear that stuff. I wear things wrong side out, LOL! I can't believe people put that stuff on babies!
