- Welcome back to some more Spider Man. Since I have gotten the combat in this game down, I decided to focus on that for this video. Finally, someone played the combat accurately in terms of how Spider-Man in the comic books would, playful and very serious and effective at the same time. How you keep switching between gadgets is just amazing! Spectacular ambush-style gameplay, mate!
Its rare to find people this generally good at a game but is still enjoy taking damage so it makes it harder
@@kingz__5130 man I'm this good at times and id have to record mine if you wanna see it sometime. my channel is goofy so its not professional but I do certain game videos that are at most of the level of professional.

Been on a binge of these and what I've noticed is that, whilst clearly easier to master than say, the Arkham games, the combat in this allows for much more creativity and playfulness, which is fitting as I like the idea that a peak aged spiderman doesn't have to put any effort into fighting thugs. You can also see an insight into the player which is really cool.
@Bwa Bwa Yoshi That same tight flow suits Batman. It displays his skill and tactical combat perfectly. This game's combat suits Spidey with all the freedom it provides when he's fighting.
@Matt Mercer's Stunt Double Disagree completely Spider-Man’s combat is way more fun and difficult than Batman’s where you simply just mash buttons counter repeat Arkham combat hasn’t aged well imo 🙄

@@marcusmoore4819 disagree if you actually played the Arkham games you’ll know their is many type of different enemies In the game and they can only be defeated in certain ways not just button mashing. Also in my opinion the Arkham games is way more harder to master in combat as someone who played Spider-Man before and all three of the main Arkham games and Finish it.
Annoying his enemies is kinda Spidey`s style so I love how they turned Peter into Acrobatic super saiyan fighter-kinda guy in this one.

Glad you pointed that out. I have a channel with 25K subs. My normal coverage game averages 25K-30K views and this game has been hard to get a few thousand on. Too bad! Glad I found this vid though- this was some really epic gameplay.

Bruh I did it one day randomly and was pretty impressed w/ myself, ever since I been experimenting gadget combinations
I love concussion blast, but if you ever wanna take out enemies swiftly use suspension matrix then once they start falling shoot a web bomb
One of my favorite combos is the matrix amd web bomb. Lift entire groups and start punching others while being aware how long it stays up. Quickly throw a bomb when the matrix expires and voila, you have taken a load off you. Feels so cheesy using it on the crimes, too. Why I love it.
Heres a cool one air launch and then shoot a web trip mine on them or under them while their in mid air and then FWOOP
I did that anytime I didn't really feel like fighting much. So not very often.

Not to take anything from this guy but the gameplay is so smooth, anyone can do this. If you can gold the combat challenges, you can do this stuff. Same with drones. If you can gold those, you can haul ass with precision. The game is beautiful. Still, amazing gameplay!
Yeah im not as good as him but i did some pretty awsome combos (and i suck at superhero games )
The gold in combat challenges actually don't really mean much, as they are usually speed-based, not combos and skill based. One challenge round I did flawlessly with a combo of around 100, but still scored 2 tokens, but when I just went very quick without any flashy combos I got all 3 tokens...
Fisk's henchman are easy. If you can make a full combo with Sable agents/Hammerhead's henchman w/ Sable's weapons, you're a God in this game

I love spiderman ps4 and how you can still be a badass without any unlocks and on the hardest difficulty just because of how the combos are presented

It's set on same combat system as the Arkham games. It's so close that even the bad guys sound the same as the guys from the Arkham games. Just listen to this dialogue from this point 0:38 Just replace "Hey! It's BATMAN!" with "Hey! It's SPIDERMAN!". They even used the same reticle system as Arkham when firing webs or tossing gadgets, they just replaced the grapple gun with webs. Fun Fact! I heard in the first stages of creating Arkham City there were a few glitches, as usual, but there was one that I thought was interesting. If you jumped from a building and fired the grapple gun at a ledge and held the button, instead of ascending you could swing back and fourth. The testers were goofing off swinging BATMAN around Gotham while singing the Batman theme song but replaced with SPIDERMANS name instead. LMAO That had to be FN hilarious and tons of fun. Not hating on the Spiderman game. This was great game and I loved it! Takes me back to the Spiderman 2 game when they first added the free flow swinging system. It was sick! Anyways! I'm gonna jam. That's enough of my mumbo-jumbo for now. See y'all!
I am a fan of this game. But the way you are switching the gadgets between the play, that is the most Spidey thing ever that I have watched. Adrenaline rush makes me really really hard to switch the gadget. The nervous is there as it seems real, the enemies in front of me. On how you did that calmly, the f**king hell did you do that? Truly awesome. -- From Kuala Lumpur here.

Imagine if Spider-man always move this fast that would be awesome but anyway great gameplay I'm still working on his combo special Etc but it's even harder when you have it on the hardest difficulty because the enemies are much faster and they do a lot more damage

I mean, spiderman has enhanced strength, and he was just destroying those guys. When the police show up, most of them are gonna be dead, and there will be 5 dudes just pinned to the wall, traumatized.

I love how heavily the game uses the fact that Peter is Acrobatic + Genius, takes inspiration from Arkham & creates a fight system which is really smooth & cool and the player can go Playful, Brutal, acrobatic, tinkerer-style or any way they want to fight. The way Spidey executes those finishers shows off how brutal his raw strength is when he holds back a *bit* less. I love using a fighting style that`s playful, gadget-smartass style & brutal at the same time. Start the fight with gadgets, perfect-dodge every single attack, move around *a lot* while beating each of them to pulp & use *as many finishers as you can*. That`s my style
Some enemies are so annoying especially the DLC ones and Silver Sable, they break my combos alot in Spectacular difficulty, that annoying woman shouldn't even stand a chance against Spider-Man, I wish I have the option to just let loose and punch their heads off, if not brutalize them enough that they wish they're dead by breaking their bones like Batman does in the Arkham Games.
@@gelothegogang I didn`t get to play the DLC & I probably never would so IDK how it`s like, but just from your description it seems pretty frustrating. Silver Sable has beaten Spider-Man on a few occasions in the comics so I don`t think it`s that surprising to see her giving him a hard time in a game

COMBAT POETRY ON SPIDERMAN PS4 Amazing. Three different fights here. First demo is a role model demo I can aspire to. Second fight shows how Spidey becomes over-powered later in game. Third fight is an early game fight with a later game Spiderman, using all tricks in rotation. Poetry.
