@@Yesysysgyagyuagaaaw Eh if you enjoy speedrunning building fights. I can get the same results using the gravity and concussive blast gadgets. I love the combat so I use Electro-Punch and Spider Bro, doesn't flat out end fights immediately like Web Blossom, Quad Damage, or Equalizer.
The Raimi suit will always be my favorite Spider-Man suit of all time, and it looks so damn good in this game. My only nitpick of it in the game is that the blue looks kind of purple in certain lighting instead of the dark navy blue in the films, but that's just a small issue that doesn't take away from how good the suit looks and just makes you feel like you're playing Spider-Man 2 the movie game all over again.
It wasnt a deep navy blue until spider-man 3, in the first movie it had a mix of blue/purple mostly leaning on the blue, and the second movie it had more a bluish color but not as dark as navy blue but not too purply either.
@@sentient.studio yeah that is true the blue in the suit got progressively darker as the films went on. My favorite look is hands down Spider-Man 3, especially in the scenes where the blue is so dark it looks black, making him look red and black
I love this game so much, I just wish we got an Ironman game of the same style. It’s got huge potential and with an in-depth suit customization system, it would instantly gain success
Trust me Insomniac isn’t leaving that sweet money behind. They’ll cover a lot of superheroes I would presume. After Wolverine, I could definitely see Iron Man make his appearance in a standalone game.
I have an idea for a Iron Man game. There would be a battle mode where you fight against people online, and you get to make your own suit. Is that a good idea
The “Cyborg Spider-Man” was never an upgrade. I had that issue as a kid. The metal arm was a cast for Peter’s broken arm, and the lens was to cover the lens that got broken. I’m pretty sure Deathlok was on that cover of Spider-Man.
I think these games could benefit from some light customization options for the suits. For instance, you could choose to have the sweatpants, or not, on the Spiderverse suit, you could choose to have the fedora, the coat, both, or neither on the Noir suit, et cetera. Not every suit should be able to do this, but I think it'd be a good way to cover all bases.

I've played this game mainly using the Stark Suit. It was number 1 for me but a really close second was the "last stand spiderman". That leather jacket with black jeans and boots makes him look so much like a cool vigilante with a vintage vibe.
As a spiderman and ghost rider fan, the spirit spider suit really does keep me coming back to the game. The blue flames with the skull, and the spirit fire ability really are just the icing on the cake
For me, the black lines on the Stark Suit are one of its best aspects. It adds more modern-style detail and makes it look less like old 60s comic spandex
It definitely just felt like a modernized classic suit, breaking half a step away from the traditional looks, like the MCU has done with literally every character.
I agree, but my gripe with the design is that the lines are completely flat, it's even worse in the movies. The reason why I love the Raimi suit is how tangible it looks, I just wish that the lines of Tom's suit were more protruding, kinda like how the irl suit actually looks like before they remade it in cgi, just take a look at Homecoming's behind the scenes photos.
@@supanixta personally I’d be okay with the flat lines if they were easier to see. But they really blend in with the red, and look almost indented too. And I agree, the physical suit they made for the MCU looks really good.
I actually really love the classic suit design. It's hard to love any designs more than the massive nostalgic of the classic look. And Insomniac's version of the classic design looks just absolutely Amazing. Spectacular. Sensational even...
I actually played most of the game with the velocity suit. I love that the spider logo glows and pans out to the whole body. The tech feel of it is awesome. The only complain is the eyes they could have been glowy and sleek like the iron spider suit. Other than that I love how sleek it is,really fits the character
I loved the addition of the Andrew Garfield suit, it makes me very excited to see if they'll add the suits in no way home like Tom Holland's leaked gold one

1. I never get tired of the MCU's Iron Spider suit. 2. Last I checked, the armored advanced suit still doesn't have emotive lenses. 3. I would have preferred if Peter's Into the Spiderverse suit had the mods that Mile's Into the Spiderverse suit had. 4. Now that both Insomniac and Square Enix's Avengers have their own Spider Men, can you rank the latter game's Spider suits and then both games' Spider suits in an ultimate list (you could even throw in Miles' suits for flavor)? 5. You're in trouble, now that Spider Man Remastered will release No Way Home tie-in suits.
The best part is, with a lot of these different suits the body shape is also a little different. It's not very noticeable at first but it makes a huge difference. I first noticed it with the amazing suit and it's pretty obvious with the spider verse suit as well
The last stand suit was my go to suit during my playthrough of the game. I love it's more mature look, it always made me think of a spider man well into his career.
Well it is spiderman well into his career. He kills doc ock with his own tentacle it's badass. Then he gets shot to death by the police. The story is kind of trash because his motivation for killing isn't super great (I think aunt may death as opposed to his child which would make more sense) and police killing him was kind of dumb tbh. He did fight the police tho

I always liked the spiderman damaged suit because it is tailored to the canon, given how peter blatantly says that his lenses are much more difficult to break than the rest of his suits because of past experience
Idk why but I’m in love with the Night Monkey suit. The detail on it is insane and I love the idea of Spidey being some sneaky spy type of guy and it’s also some variation from all his usual spandex type of suits.
30:32 I think in Spider-Man 2, his Vintage suit should be replaced with the 90s Animated Suit that goes from the sharp red and blue, to pinkish red and violet at night. It should also have the "Twip" noises just like in the show.

I personally was introduced to the spirit spider suit before the name change. I always thought ghost spider was a more clever name that made more sense because it rhymes with ghost rider. When I first heard Spider-Gwen was called ghost spider I was like “huh? I thought that was already a thing” then when the game came out I finally got the memo that it was changed at some point.
I think the giant white spiders in the advance suit was so we can see him at night, where his back is, his arms, his legs. With most of the other suits, sometimes you can only see his shadowy shape at night.
l love the webbed suit not because its from tobey maguire's movie but the way the suits reflect light in night and daytime, the suit looks amazing in any weather, lightings and scenes
I used to swap suits when I first played this game. I did the same when I played it for a second time. The third time I played all the time I could with the Tobey Suit. I'm playing it a 4th time with the Andrew Suit. I'm gonna play it a 5th time with the Holland suit. Then a 6th time with the second Holland suit. I love this game.
Same the third time I played all I ran was the tasm suit making it my absolute favorite I played with the rami suit alot in the first and second playthrough even though I cycled through it
Lol you 6 times playing through this game is nothing compared to how many times ive played through jedi fallen order. I lived at my dads for a while, and he didnt have spider man so i played through fallen order 28 times in 7 months

Personally, the Amazing Suit is my favorite now. I love the Raimi suit and most of the other suits in the game, but the TASM 1 suit has been my favorite Spidey suit since the movie's release because of how sleek it looked and how cool the yellow eyes were. Seeing it in this game just overjoys me, and I use it all the time. It's definitely my favorite.
The Raimi suit has always been terrible....It looks like something you would see someone throw together for a comic convention or something. Its like someone got some red and blue PJs and then took some strips of plastic and made the lines.....Its always looked awful that every other suit has always had the lines look like they're part of the material until the Raimi Chinese bootleg figure looking suit.
In my first playthough, I played 99% of the game with the advanced suit. I tried different suits but just kept coming back to the advanced suit. Because I felt like in the universe of the game peter wouldn’t wear any other suits. In my second playthough I tried different ones and most of the time i played with the black suit. Now with the addition of the new 3 suits I’m playing with advanced armored suit since (like i said) in the universe of the game peter would wear something like that.
In my opinion my favourite is the arachnid rider I find it to be really vibrant and really stylistic. I think it’s really underrated and I wear it every time I play Spiderman 1
Stark suit is definitely my favorite of the suits. The eyes are expressive and I like the overall design. It did something new while still looking and feeling very much like the Spider-man I’m used to. I take it over the upgraded suit for its classic color scheme even though I prefer red and black combos

stark suit is amazing it has that clean modern look while still being similar to the classic suit, i switched from the classic suit to stark suit at the devil's breath part because to me it looks like a more advanced and modern classic suit
I really enjoyed playing as the armoured advanced suit when playing the “devils breath” section fo the game. It was my first play through and is really cool for roleplay as you feel like spidey created the suit so he could take down all the villains that escaped.
Most of the suits in this game are great, so here are some of my favorites. (Not in order) -Amazing suit -Webbed suit -Advanced suit -Anti-Ock suit -Stealth Big Time suit -2099 (black AND white suits) -Armored Advanced suits -Upgraded suit -Hybrid suit -Black and Gold suit -Negative suit (great for role playing Peter being corrupted by Martin Li) -Aaron Ikeman Armor -Iron Spider suits -Future Foundation suit -Velocity suit -Spider Armor Mk II -Dark suit -Scarlet Spider II Insomniac did a great job making all these suits, and I really enjoy the game because of the suit variety.
i think for 100% completion you should get the spider cop suit where u have a blue jacket, formal shoes and of course the police hat. They should do it with the damaged suit rather then the advanced suit or the repaired suit. Then at least the damaged suit will be memorized a bit more. edit: they should also put a badge in the jacket similar to the one of Miles dad with a spidey logo or something related to the story.

@@InnovativeJdawg yeah, I heard that the original 2099 suit was a random suit found thrown away somewhere, which is why it isn't as futuristic by 2099 standards I guess, but, yeah, the white suit is more futuristic looking, it sucks that his black suit isn't black
My favorite to use is the classic suit repaired and Tobey Maguire’s movie suit. I also use the comic suit. Just using the classic designs is so nostalgic. Aside from those I really like the last stand suit and the like he said, the way it uses casual clothing in the suits.
I definitely agree with your top 2. The default suit in the game is awesome and I usually stick with it, but when I don't, it's the Raimi suit (the best design of the Spider Suit, in any medium, to date).
I wore Raimi suit during the fire scene. It instantly reminded me of the first spidey movie when he fought Green Goblin in the burning building. 😁 I also wore the Homecoming Homemade suit during the fight with Vulture..seemed appropriate 😁
A way how I like using the classic damaged suit is if I wear the classic suit and get half of my health taken away I switch to the damaged until I get to Octavious’ old station where I pretend I’m repairing it
You know, whenever I look at the anti-ock suit and the big time suit in this game, the first thing that comes to my mind is Peter wearing a Symbiote but the Symbiote is overflowing with fear/willpower energy Those 2 being the things that power the rings of Yellow lanterns and Green lanterns respectively So you could possibly pretend that when wearing these suits, Spidey is wearing a symbiote and uses a Green lantern ring to keep it in check or received a Yellow lantern ring due to wearing the symbiote And also when I saw the arachnid rider suit and started a playthrough using it, I had recently finished watching a series called Iron Man armored adventures, and could not help but see a certain resemblance between this suit and the Mandarin design they made for the show, so you could pretend that this is that universe's version of Spider-Man, using Makluan tech to build a suit and gain powers instead of being bitten by a spider
Calling the Secret Wars suit an "underrated" and "obscure" suit is crazy. That suit is in so many Spider-Man games you can unlock suits in. Just off the top of my head it's in: Spider-Man PS4 Avengers Edge of Time Shattered Dimensions Spider-Man Unlimited
Looking at #15 it kinda looks a lot like the suit we got in the original Spider-Man game for PS, to be fair I think that’s probably where into the spider-verse got the inspiration when creating the suit, just with the overall design of the suit and the very vibrant blue that goes along with the almost cartoon style spider icons on both sides, having said that #16 is a pretty close match as well
You know Into the Spider-verse is a Sony film and Insomniac is owned by Sony also....The game had was highly like in production at the same time the film was in production and Sony probably wanted it thrown in...Its their way of saying the game universe is one of the possible universes.
I really took to the Andrew Garfield suit because a lot of the character animations look like they came from his films like the way he lands on a wall, the way he can zip over a roof after running on it , and the iconic free fall is always cool to see
The armored advanced suit looks like what I'd imagine Peter's suit looking like if he took part in the time heist in Endgame Ngl, the regular advanced suit is my favorite suit in the game, and possibly my favorite new modern suit. I disliked it when I saw the game first previewed years ago, but after seeing it in action, as well as getting an awesome figure of it along with negative man has made me appreciate it. It's so cool, and I love the white parts
Great list! Personal favorite was the last stand suit. When i unlocked it and saw the city was a mess on the later game. Equipped it and never swapped until that forced suit haha. That suit look and the way everything in the city was a mess was just perfect for me
The black cat suit, I have always felt it as a venom reference. Venom ( black suit ) originally had a red symbol in concept art, but they changed it. After Peter gives up the black suit, black cat makes him a suit that looks like the black suit. So her giving him that suit to him in this game kinda felt like that to me.

The only thing that knocks the suit back for me is the fact that the suit comes from a mediocre film, it’s actually one of the few movies that made me fall asleep first time watching
"Some people say the Secret War suit looks similar to the Miles Morales suit." It would be the other way round. I think those people don't realise that the Secret War suit has been around long before Miles was even a glimmer in Bendis' imagination (or lack thereof).
The secret war suit came out first, yeah, but it’s definitely overlooked. It’s unfortunate, but the Miles suit is vastly more recognizable to the average person than the secret war suit.
That suit didn't exist until 2016 Secret Wars event....People in 2021 are likely ALWAYS referring to the 2016 event and not the 1984 throw away cash grab tie-in that was used to promote the toyline, it wasn't good. Hell people wouldn't even care about 1985 Secret Wars II if it weren't for that being how the Symbiote got to Peter.

@@lutherheggs451 The original Secret Wars had some iconic moments not just the suit but fotr other heroes ike Thing, She-Hulk, etc. Obviously there were vehicles and shit added to the story for the toyline bt it's still a good stoey overall and better than the pretty shit 2016 version.
the Webbed suit is the best. didn't expect it to be your #1 as well. i figured most ppl prefer newer variants but that suit looks spot on for the movie. even better. wish we had a damaged version or the black suit
7:19 If you don't have the PS5 versions and you only have the PS4 version, it's good to know that this suit has been update to have all the extra details that the one for the PS5 has.
@@amazingedits6912 No, if you look closely at the PS4 version now of the classic damage suit, it has now dirt and more damage around it. Not as much as the PS5 version, but enough to make it an improvement.
My favorite suit is without doubt the amazing spider man suit, it's a fantastic mix of classic Spiderman look with just enough additions to be really unique and identifiable
What I'd love to see in spiderman 2 is a web slingshot. You know, the thing where Spidey shoots two webs, pulls them back and shoots through the air? It could even work on walls, where you'd get more speed running on the walls. And you could charge it too. And if Peter gets the black suit, he would be almost op.
I really love the superior spiderman suit- I think that's the story where Doc Ock becomes spiderman or something like that. I loved how the spider logo's arms would stretch over to the back side and I think there was a Spiderman game that featured the suit making it look even cooler, though I don't remember which game it was. Overall my favorite designs/artwork of that suit are when more red is involved such as the "boots" and "gloves" being similar to the classic spiderman- felt more color-balanced that way. 2099 Spiderman is an easy second favorite for me especially with how he looked in Edge of Time and kinda sort of how he looked in shattered dimensions (two of my favorite spiderman games that are unfortunately not on Steam :( been trying to get SD for an emulator I downloaded but don't know how to yet oof).
Completely agree with the Spirit Spider being (essentially) last - the problem isn't so much that it doesn't look cool, it absolutely does. It just doesn't feel like Spider-Man at all. As the former name suggested, this is more of a costume befitting of an antihero like Ghost Rider who is going around punishing people, not a hero who is literally trying to save every villain he has ever faced and turn them to good.
I always enjoyed the MK 4 armored suit the bright colors and when u take it out during the night is always a pleasure to my eyes. A close second would be the movie suits and the original suit for the game, since replaying it i used the advanced suit from start to finish.
I heavily agree on the F.F Spider-Man suit. I really can’t get past the eyes but once you get used to it- it is imo the best suit I have every laid my eyes on just because of that color scheme.
I love how you clearly talk in terms of opinions and don't try saying this list is fact or definitive. It makes me respect you and the list all the more. My only real disagreement would be the Last stand being way up high, maybe number one, and the rami suit being lower. I was never a huge fan of those movies, preferring the comics and cartoon at the time

Honestly, I would've chosen the Last Stand suit to be the best if only Insomniac changed the head to not be identical to the regular suit that Peter wears during the start of the game. Other than that, it's a pretty cool-looking suit, and the fact that it's worn by an alternate universe Spider-Man where it all goes dark when he first kills Kraven the Hunter, and at the final battle of Peter (or rather, last stand) when he's old, corrupted, and stands his ground against the police, he dies.

The Raimi suit will always be my favorite Spider-Man suit of all time, and it looks so damn good in this game. My only nitpick of it in the game is that the blue looks kind of purple in certain lighting instead of the dark navy blue in the films, but that's just a small issue that doesn't take away from how good the suit looks and just makes you feel like you're playing Spider-Man 2 the movie game all over again.

It wasnt a deep navy blue until spider-man 3, in the first movie it had a mix of blue/purple mostly leaning on the blue, and the second movie it had more a bluish color but not as dark as navy blue but not too purply either.

Trust me Insomniac isn’t leaving that sweet money behind. They’ll cover a lot of superheroes I would presume. After Wolverine, I could definitely see Iron Man make his appearance in a standalone game.

The “Cyborg Spider-Man” was never an upgrade. I had that issue as a kid. The metal arm was a cast for Peter’s broken arm, and the lens was to cover the lens that got broken. I’m pretty sure Deathlok was on that cover of Spider-Man.

Personally, I like the 3rd made spider armour. It doesnt have 5oo much details, but just enough
I think these games could benefit from some light customization options for the suits. For instance, you could choose to have the sweatpants, or not, on the Spiderverse suit, you could choose to have the fedora, the coat, both, or neither on the Noir suit, et cetera. Not every suit should be able to do this, but I think it'd be a good way to cover all bases.

I've played this game mainly using the Stark Suit. It was number 1 for me but a really close second was the "last stand spiderman". That leather jacket with black jeans and boots makes him look so much like a cool vigilante with a vintage vibe.
As a spiderman and ghost rider fan, the spirit spider suit really does keep me coming back to the game. The blue flames with the skull, and the spirit fire ability really are just the icing on the cake

For me, the black lines on the Stark Suit are one of its best aspects. It adds more modern-style detail and makes it look less like old 60s comic spandex
It definitely just felt like a modernized classic suit, breaking half a step away from the traditional looks, like the MCU has done with literally every character.
I agree, but my gripe with the design is that the lines are completely flat, it's even worse in the movies. The reason why I love the Raimi suit is how tangible it looks, I just wish that the lines of Tom's suit were more protruding, kinda like how the irl suit actually looks like before they remade it in cgi, just take a look at Homecoming's behind the scenes photos.

I actually played most of the game with the velocity suit. I love that the spider logo glows and pans out to the whole body. The tech feel of it is awesome. The only complain is the eyes they could have been glowy and sleek like the iron spider suit. Other than that I love how sleek it is,really fits the character

The best part is, with a lot of these different suits the body shape is also a little different. It's not very noticeable at first but it makes a huge difference. I first noticed it with the amazing suit and it's pretty obvious with the spider verse suit as well

The last stand suit was my go to suit during my playthrough of the game. I love it's more mature look, it always made me think of a spider man well into his career.
Well it is spiderman well into his career. He kills doc ock with his own tentacle it's badass. Then he gets shot to death by the police. The story is kind of trash because his motivation for killing isn't super great (I think aunt may death as opposed to his child which would make more sense) and police killing him was kind of dumb tbh. He did fight the police tho

Idk why but I’m in love with the Night Monkey suit. The detail on it is insane and I love the idea of Spidey being some sneaky spy type of guy and it’s also some variation from all his usual spandex type of suits.

30:32 I think in Spider-Man 2, his Vintage suit should be replaced with the 90s Animated Suit that goes from the sharp red and blue, to pinkish red and violet at night. It should also have the "Twip" noises just like in the show.

I personally was introduced to the spirit spider suit before the name change. I always thought ghost spider was a more clever name that made more sense because it rhymes with ghost rider. When I first heard Spider-Gwen was called ghost spider I was like “huh? I thought that was already a thing” then when the game came out I finally got the memo that it was changed at some point.
I think the giant white spiders in the advance suit was so we can see him at night, where his back is, his arms, his legs. With most of the other suits, sometimes you can only see his shadowy shape at night.

I used to swap suits when I first played this game. I did the same when I played it for a second time. The third time I played all the time I could with the Tobey Suit. I'm playing it a 4th time with the Andrew Suit. I'm gonna play it a 5th time with the Holland suit. Then a 6th time with the second Holland suit. I love this game.
That's a lot of playthroughs, have fun! I've played through it several times and each time, I have a lot of fun. Such a well made game.
Same the third time I played all I ran was the tasm suit making it my absolute favorite I played with the rami suit alot in the first and second playthrough even though I cycled through it

Personally, the Amazing Suit is my favorite now. I love the Raimi suit and most of the other suits in the game, but the TASM 1 suit has been my favorite Spidey suit since the movie's release because of how sleek it looked and how cool the yellow eyes were. Seeing it in this game just overjoys me, and I use it all the time. It's definitely my favorite.

The Raimi suit has always been terrible....It looks like something you would see someone throw together for a comic convention or something. Its like someone got some red and blue PJs and then took some strips of plastic and made the lines.....Its always looked awful that every other suit has always had the lines look like they're part of the material until the Raimi Chinese bootleg figure looking suit.

In my first playthough, I played 99% of the game with the advanced suit. I tried different suits but just kept coming back to the advanced suit. Because I felt like in the universe of the game peter wouldn’t wear any other suits. In my second playthough I tried different ones and most of the time i played with the black suit. Now with the addition of the new 3 suits I’m playing with advanced armored suit since (like i said) in the universe of the game peter would wear something like that.

Stark suit is definitely my favorite of the suits. The eyes are expressive and I like the overall design. It did something new while still looking and feeling very much like the Spider-man I’m used to. I take it over the upgraded suit for its classic color scheme even though I prefer red and black combos

stark suit is amazing it has that clean modern look while still being similar to the classic suit, i switched from the classic suit to stark suit at the devil's breath part because to me it looks like a more advanced and modern classic suit
I really enjoyed playing as the armoured advanced suit when playing the “devils breath” section fo the game. It was my first play through and is really cool for roleplay as you feel like spidey created the suit so he could take down all the villains that escaped.

Insomniac did a great job making all these suits, and I really enjoy the game because of the suit variety.
i think for 100% completion you should get the spider cop suit where u have a blue jacket, formal shoes and of course the police hat. They should do it with the damaged suit rather then the advanced suit or the repaired suit. Then at least the damaged suit will be memorized a bit more.
edit: they should also put a badge in the jacket similar to the one of Miles dad with a spidey logo or something related to the story.

My favorite to use is the classic suit repaired and Tobey Maguire’s movie suit. I also use the comic suit. Just using the classic designs is so nostalgic. Aside from those I really like the last stand suit and the like he said, the way it uses casual clothing in the suits.
I definitely agree with your top 2. The default suit in the game is awesome and I usually stick with it, but when I don't, it's the Raimi suit (the best design of the Spider Suit, in any medium, to date).
I wore Raimi suit during the fire scene. It instantly reminded me of the first spidey movie when he fought Green Goblin in the burning building. 😁
I also wore the Homecoming Homemade suit during the fight with Vulture..seemed appropriate 😁
A way how I like using the classic damaged suit is if I wear the classic suit and get half of my health taken away I switch to the damaged until I get to Octavious’ old station where I pretend I’m repairing it

I would've liked if whenever using the Noir suit, a tint that represented the Noir world came over the world.
You know, whenever I look at the anti-ock suit and the big time suit in this game, the first thing that comes to my mind is Peter wearing a Symbiote but the Symbiote is overflowing with fear/willpower energy
Those 2 being the things that power the rings of Yellow lanterns and Green lanterns respectively
So you could possibly pretend that when wearing these suits, Spidey is wearing a symbiote and uses a Green lantern ring to keep it in check or received a Yellow lantern ring due to wearing the symbiote
And also when I saw the arachnid rider suit and started a playthrough using it, I had recently finished watching a series called Iron Man armored adventures, and could not help but see a certain resemblance between this suit and the Mandarin design they made for the show, so you could pretend that this is that universe's version of Spider-Man, using Makluan tech to build a suit and gain powers instead of being bitten by a spider

Calling the Secret Wars suit an "underrated" and "obscure" suit is crazy. That suit is in so many Spider-Man games you can unlock suits in.

Looking at #15 it kinda looks a lot like the suit we got in the original Spider-Man game for PS, to be fair I think that’s probably where into the spider-verse got the inspiration when creating the suit, just with the overall design of the suit and the very vibrant blue that goes along with the almost cartoon style spider icons on both sides, having said that #16 is a pretty close match as well
You know Into the Spider-verse is a Sony film and Insomniac is owned by Sony also....The game had was highly like in production at the same time the film was in production and Sony probably wanted it thrown in...Its their way of saying the game universe is one of the possible universes.

The black cat suit, I have always felt it as a venom reference. Venom ( black suit ) originally had a red symbol in concept art, but they changed it. After Peter gives up the black suit, black cat makes him a suit that looks like the black suit. So her giving him that suit to him in this game kinda felt like that to me.

It would be the other way round. I think those people don't realise that the Secret War suit has been around long before Miles was even a glimmer in Bendis' imagination (or lack thereof).
The secret war suit came out first, yeah, but it’s definitely overlooked. It’s unfortunate, but the Miles suit is vastly more recognizable to the average person than the secret war suit.
That suit didn't exist until 2016 Secret Wars event....People in 2021 are likely ALWAYS referring to the 2016 event and not the 1984 throw away cash grab tie-in that was used to promote the toyline, it wasn't good. Hell people wouldn't even care about 1985 Secret Wars II if it weren't for that being how the Symbiote got to Peter.

the Webbed suit is the best. didn't expect it to be your #1 as well. i figured most ppl prefer newer variants but that suit looks spot on for the movie. even better. wish we had a damaged version or the black suit

What exactly do you mean by that? I started the game up and the suit tears look the same.
@@amazingedits6912 No, if you look closely at the PS4 version now of the classic damage suit, it has now dirt and more damage around it. Not as much as the PS5 version, but enough to make it an improvement.

My favorite suit is without doubt the amazing spider man suit, it's a fantastic mix of classic Spiderman look with just enough additions to be really unique and identifiable

What I'd love to see in spiderman 2 is a web slingshot.
You know, the thing where Spidey shoots two webs, pulls them back and shoots through the air?
It could even work on walls, where you'd get more speed running on the walls.
And you could charge it too.

I really love the superior spiderman suit- I think that's the story where Doc Ock becomes spiderman or something like that. I loved how the spider logo's arms would stretch over to the back side and I think there was a Spiderman game that featured the suit making it look even cooler, though I don't remember which game it was. Overall my favorite designs/artwork of that suit are when more red is involved such as the "boots" and "gloves" being similar to the classic spiderman- felt more color-balanced that way. 2099 Spiderman is an easy second favorite for me especially with how he looked in Edge of Time and kinda sort of how he looked in shattered dimensions (two of my favorite spiderman games that are unfortunately not on Steam :( been trying to get SD for an emulator I downloaded but don't know how to yet oof).
I remember growing up playing Edge of time and Shattered dimensions where I got my love for the bulletproof suit

Completely agree with the Spirit Spider being (essentially) last - the problem isn't so much that it doesn't look cool, it absolutely does. It just doesn't feel like Spider-Man at all. As the former name suggested, this is more of a costume befitting of an antihero like Ghost Rider who is going around punishing people, not a hero who is literally trying to save every villain he has ever faced and turn them to good.
I always enjoyed the MK 4 armored suit the bright colors and when u take it out during the night is always a pleasure to my eyes. A close second would be the movie suits and the original suit for the game, since replaying it i used the advanced suit from start to finish.
I heavily agree on the F.F Spider-Man suit. I really can’t get past the eyes but once you get used to it- it is imo the best suit I have every laid my eyes on just because of that color scheme.
personally my favorites are the big time stealth, advanced, webbed and anti ock
i like the others too but those hold a special place in my heart
I love how you clearly talk in terms of opinions and don't try saying this list is fact or definitive. It makes me respect you and the list all the more. My only real disagreement would be the Last stand being way up high, maybe number one, and the rami suit being lower. I was never a huge fan of those movies, preferring the comics and cartoon at the time

Honestly, I would've chosen the Last Stand suit to be the best if only Insomniac changed the head to not be identical to the regular suit that Peter wears during the start of the game. Other than that, it's a pretty cool-looking suit, and the fact that it's worn by an alternate universe Spider-Man where it all goes dark when he first kills Kraven the Hunter, and at the final battle of Peter (or rather, last stand) when he's old, corrupted, and stands his ground against the police, he dies.
Probably not the best, but definitely a lot better.
