that detergent pallet reminds me of Sam Walmart who at 4am would buy a pick-up truck full of a product (Tide was bought in the example story) by 8am the item would have all been displayed in a huge pile for for blow-off price (example was something like $9 MSRP for $5) and after closing 5pm or 6pm he'd move the leftovers and up the price to like $7.77 then the next day 4am he'd be picking up another DIFFERENT item to repeat the process
I live in New Zealand and here and in Australia people are panic buying toilet rolls and medical stuff. Some paranoid upper class house wife would probably sell him her holiday home for that stuff.
Lol it's the same in the States. They are limiting how much water you can buy at Wal-Mart to two items only. And recently, Costco sold out of water here in Los Angeles. I'm sure it's been restocked by now. But, totally insane! If people just bought one, or two extra items they need each time they went to the store, it would allow everyone the opportunity to do the same, instead of not having anything they need, at all. Because people are so selfish & greedy, and don't forget paranoid... It's so stupid! God bless everyone in "China", specifically Wuhan! That's where people should be sending their love & energy.
We had a big earthquake here are few years ago, and since then I have been adding a bit of extra things here and there over time, nothing crazy, but it will see us through an emergency. I'm surprised more people didn't do that, unless they did and they just have fortresses of toilet paper in there basements now. I hope there's not a flood . lol

People return items for many reasons and more time than not, the item is still functional.
Destroy just means the sellers didn’t want it back. Usually because it’s not worth the cost to ship it back to them.
