- This week On the Road to Emmaus with Bishop Earl Boyea, our year-long pilgrimage through the Holy Mass, we reach the Our Father. This is the only prayer to be given to us directly by Jesus Christ. Hence, it is often called the "Lord's Prayer". Bishop Boyea also has a new ascetical challenge aimed at helping us prepare better for a fruitful reception of Holy Communion during Holy Mass.

Bishop Boyea, I was at St. Clement in Center Line, when you were our bishop in residence. I praise God for you and for choosing you to be His bishop. I am just reading and praying a beautiful little book, Jesus In You, by Mark Miravalle, which reiterates and reinforces your message this week.
Papa, Jesus, Holy Spirit, take up Your dwelling- establish Your home, Your throne in the heart of each one of us. Allow each of us to diminish as You become greater within us and let all who encounter us experience Your Presence and be deeply touched and forever transformed by You. Praise, honor and glory to You, Lord God, now and forever. 🙏❤️🥰

I always consider 1 hour before Mass as the rule. Whoever thiugt it was just the hour before communion.
If coffee didn't count, I could do it from when I wake up until the hour before Mass, but I will try to add at least another 30 minutes.
