Great instructions thx! Finishing the clover leaf for baby born on 3/17! Love the pattern. Can’t wait to get to work on this one, wonderful finishing touch. Think I’ll make it for a dear friend celebrating 90 years young, great lap blanket
Thank you! I love how it turned out. Good luck with your cloverleaf project, I love that blanket pattern. Send us a pic when you're done, thanks for visiting!
Found this again ! I know I've made it in the past because it's such a beautiful pattern . 😃 Going to make one to gift to office colleague who is expecting first child .💞 Thanks!
So beautiful! I am starting this one now. I hope it turns out good. The clover leaf blanket really stretched my knitting skills! but I learned a lot. (before this I only knew how to knit and purl. ) Thank you for the videos, they help so much.
Hi Lynn, I’m finishing up the argyle blanket and it turned out beautifully! I’m starting the Grace blanket for my niece and I just cannot figure out the ss3 k ss3. Does that mean ss3 k ss3, ss3 k ss3, ss3 k ss3, OR is it ss3 k ss3 k ss3 k ss3? Thank you!
I’m working on the clover leaf and love this blanket too, do you have any yarn suggestions. I can’t get a hold of the ones you’ve used in the UK. Thanks
Hi. I’m going to make this blanket, just waiting for my yarn to arrive. I notice what looks like two rows of single crochet on the border before you started the chain three stitches row, time stamp 13:07. Is that correct? I just downloaded the pattern, and want to make sure. Thanks for this beautiful blanket pattern.
There is one row of single crochet all around before you start hte ruffle. You can access the free printable PDF for the pattern here. Happy Knitting! nourishandnestle.com/baby-blanket-pattern-rosebuds-ruffles/
I would love to knit this for my baby girl due in February but I really struggle with crotchet. Is it possible to do the ruffle edge with knitting needles? Hope you can help! ☺️
Hi Georgia...I think you'd have a hard time going all the aroudn with ruffles. The crochet is really quite easy...I encourage you to try and I'll be glad to help you with any questions.
For row 4: seed stitch the first 3 stitches on the row, then knit all the way across until the last three stitches, which you will seed stitch again. For row 5: seed stitch the first 3 stitches on the row, then purl all the way across until the last three stitches, which you will seed stitch again
I am using straight ones. I have knitted several Afghans using straight needles just bunching it up. I didn't know there was any other way. Lol. And i mean the entire afghan! Rows to sew together? Nope i didn't know about that. They all turned out great. So it works for me.
I love this blanket! I used Size 10 (6mm), 40″ Circular Knitting Needles. You can find more about the pattern here: nourishandnestle.com/baby-blanket-pattern-rosebuds-ruffles/ Happy Knitting!
Hi Sandra, you seed stitch the first 3 stitches on each row, then knit (or purl) as indicated the remainaing stitches until the last 3 stitches, which you also seed stitch.
@@Nourishandnestle I just took all my work out for the third time. (first 3 rows) I keep not getting the seed stitch. Just realized 168 is an even number. Sigh....
I wish this video was from start to finish. It’s a beautiful blanket but as a visual learner and a beginner I need to see the process from start to finish. I have a hard time understanding patterns.
Oh my goodness, this is beautiful. We are expecting our first Grandchild this December, a little Girl, so this Blanket is just perfect.

Hi where can I get the written instructions for the lovely pattern plz
Thank you for the kind words and thanks for visiting with us!
Here is the Pattern: nourishandnestle.com/baby-blanket-pattern-rosebuds-ruffles/
At 4:58 i noticed for the seed stitch you did pkp instead of kpk? I just finished the clover leaf blanket. I thought seed stitch was always kpk?
It is! I wasn't paying attention! You did it correctly.
How do you do the SS3 K SS3 for rows 4 and 5 video please.
For row 4: seed stitch the first 3 stitches on the row, then knit all the way across until the last three stitches, which you will seed stitch again. For row 5: seed stitch the first 3 stitches on the row, then purl all the way across until the last three stitches, which you will seed stitch again
On the 4th row it says to SS3, Knit, SS3. Does that mean it's Knit, purl, knit - Knit - Knit, purl, knit ?
yes, but last 3 will be P,K,P.
Similar question, 5th row is ss3 purl ss3 so it means k p k *purl* k p k? So it's like a regular seed stich row?
Hi there I’m wondering if you can do this without Circular needles ? Just straight ones?
I'm pretty confident you could Emma...would just be snug.
@@Nourishandnestle yay I've started a few days ago.

I am reading the online pattern, is the Long tail cast on ok?
yup!
