What a smooth jet. Good to see FMS has another nice model I'd like to try.
Personal preferance, I have never used dual rates for any plane I have ever flown. I just use a good amount of expo and full rated throws. When I fly I get really excited and less variables means I get to keep my planes and put them back on the wall when I am done. I have a couple of FMS jets and one of them must have close to 100 flights on it...I love the EDF stuff a lot.
I'm not a sport jet kinda guy, I prefer scale planes. Your video and the looks of this plane have me convinced that I should buy one. Nice job guys!

I was really impressed with it. It is the outrunner setup that flies and sounds like an inrunner. FMS says they designed an inrunner and this one performed so well they didnt bother.

I got the 70mm one hand.tosser and its real quick for 4s love it great fans they put here and THIS scorp is really Sweet
I told you it was fast.... and that fan is the go to now. I am using that rotor in all 90s from here on out. The 70-80mm have been awesome!!! 5000 should yield about 3-4 mins depending on how you fly it..... FMS has done their homework....
I immediately went out and got two more of these 90mm setups. I have them on the store. They are hard to find.
Pilot Ryan and Capt. Mike RC the F-104 was transformed with this fan! It took a lil time to get in there but it was worth it!!

Great flights and sweet landings despite Ryan having to throw a wrench into the works! That is one sweet looking, flying and sounding plane, especially gliding! Thanks Capt. Ryan for another great video. I have a similar jet but with 6S 5400mAh in the jet seems to require at least 120 grams nose weight to get it to balance on the 150 - 160mm CG. What would you recommend? Would much appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance... 👍👍👍
Hard to remember but I used the biggest battery I could find and still had to jam dead ballast up in the front

So what did we learn from this video today guys? Fist thing is that Ryan is way to high. Also we need to cheat. Use max rates. And dont be afraid of those flaps. Use them. Lol. Haha. Have a ton of fun watching your vids guys. So I have the 80mm freewing. What is a good battery size for that bad boy?. The 4000 seems a bit light for my comfort. Could u use a 5000 safely?
As long as you can hit cg I say go for it. Just watch the nose when you drop major flaps. It may come up on you.
Hey thanks Ryan. We will give it a try. Cant hurt I dont think. That raptor though... ordering mine in a few days. Thinking of putting all metal fan in it. Will be my first 90mm and 8s system. Are you guys feeding Mike out thier. He looks like he had lost some weight and gotten into shape.
Good canidate to try a JPhobby edf in. Though I know they are expensive!

Eric Rogers I get it. I’m using these FMS 90mm setups as a good inexpensive upgrade that gives good performance and flight time. I just put the links in the description.

Hello Ryan and Mike .Thank you for your videos they are great and very helpful.Ihave bought the FMS SUPER SCORPION as the one you have in the video and while i was ready to do the binding with my DX8 Spectrum i have food a problem that could not make me enter in the binding procedure.I found the there is an external bec on this plane an i saw his plug with a ferrite green ring and plug it to an auxiliary channel of my dmnx 6 channels spectrum receiver and the work making blinking the light for binding mode .As i start my transmitter on binding mode when the binding is complete the light of the receiver go off completely and no channels are functioning.I use a 3s lips for this procedure not a 6s .Anyway i can manage the problem .Can you help me please ?Regards from SICILY

lutinosss plug it into any open channel for binding. Also you can use a y connector and put it in with your flaps or something. Once you have bound the airplane you might be able to use the bind port for it also

@@PilotRyanMedia i have tried with 6s change insert the binding plug with a different polarity and now it work but i only ear beps from the esc continuously like it is not arming...In the receiver i plugged the trootle plug and the external bec in the aux channel...If i unplugged the external bec from the receiver than the receiver light go off but the bec light the blue light is still on...Why the have putted an external bec like this ??? I miss something.I have may elf planes from FREEWING and FMS...Something like this never happened...Thank's

This thing is hard to land..it bounces alot..I have jets and this one is a hand full trying to land..any help will be appreciated..
I like full flaps and to completely bleed all the speed off, a lot of back pressure. Commit to the elevator and control with throttle.
