As a former Air Force guy I absolutely love this video. It looks totally scale and I hope to someday get to the skill level required to make it look as easy as you do. Thanks so much for sharing it.
A year late watching..but absolutely classy different style video !!!!!...Capt. Mike..great thumbs and fingers you have !!!!..you nailed every landing and talked through them !!!!...great Plane ..Awesome pilot skills..... take offs and landings are so interesting to watch...and continuously as you did..even kooler !!!!........
So what am I looking at for flap to elevator mix Mike? I'm taking mine out in the morning and I'm concerned that I'm not going to have it correct. Please and thankyou Mike my man.
Some nice & relaxed touch 'n' gos Cptn Mike :-) You make it look so easy everytime! Did I mention already that you 2 were my inspiration to get into this hobby just 4 years ago?! Keep these vids alive guys! Thanks and greetings from Belgium (Icarus the 2nd)
Awesome Flying Captain Mike. Man you guys make that look so easy. Still honing my skills...Assembly, Trim, Fly, Crash, rebuild, fly again...LOLOL It's like learning 3 hobbies at the same time.
quick question CAPT MIKE!!! just got my this amazing bird a few weeks ago. I have a DX8 Gen 2 and i was wondering what your flap setup looks like. Did you add down or up elevator to compensate for nose high or low? If so how much for each flap position? Thanks boss!!! Love your guys' videos! This video convinced me that I had to get an Eagle for my first 90mm and cant wait to get it to the flying field.
hi guys, great flyin. im deciding between this and the f4. i was just wondering what kind of receiver were you using. you mentioned as3x. would a new admiral 6 channel with stabilization work in this plane if i tie the air brake in with the flaps? any suggestion would be greatly appreciated and cya next saturday night, lol.
Michael Rajca I’m not sure what exactly Mike has in this but he doesn’t use admirals. I wouldn’t put a 20 dollar rx in anything that costs more than 100. When we were on task to show them off I put them in a few things but took them out since.
do you recommend a certain receiver with a gyro. i know hobby eagle makes them too but if theres one good one out there that is all in one it would be great
@@PilotRyanMedia Revised: LED system will not survive 6V. It burned out the landing light. :( (I think my dad taught me long long ago that all LED are 5V only)
Have you guys ever tried one of these jets with the hobby eagle super 3, in auto level, or even the the trainer mode? I'm curious if a "SAFE" type mode would work in a 70 or 90mm jet.
Hello everyone .. does anyone now where I can find the video yet of captain Mike build freewing F-15 c ..Thanks :) ( last seen on Motion RC and now video removed! )
Thank you Sir for the answer, It was removed on you tube and would love to see back for the explanation of Captain Mike for the construction of the F15c Freewing for my plane...Thanks again for your help and time...
I don't know how all of you folks can take off with the plane (any plane) down at the far end while you are 70 - 90 feet away from it. I have to be standing next to it or slightly behind it so that it goes away from me on takeoff. Otherwise it will veer all over the place and maybe end up in the grass.

Thanks Eric I’ll tell Mike
I buckled down and finally got one, it was on sale. I said why not. Great flying mike. Those touch and goes where on point.
That's how its done buddy.
Mike's making it look much easier than it is.
I know that’s the truth
You should do that on every video, so many take-offs and landings. 'Cause thats the interesting part of each flight!

Hahaha,all day long… this's really fun~
Do you guys ever go by the recommended CG? It kinda seems like your just guessing.
Do you use the Air Brake at all and does it affect it much with landing?
What a beauty! Where's your CG again? With gear down or up?
Ryan are you still employed with Motion RC?
Thanks
LT Mike.
Not for awhile
My question to Pilot Ryan and Captain Mike is in the freewing Jets do you guys remove the blue box or do you keep them and use them
I use them all of the time
Like a Boss with the Hot sauce! Nice demo of the Eagle!
If I was not in Idaho and closer I would most definitely come fly with you guys!
Eric Rogers that would be cool. Maybe you can make it to jet jam 2019 or NEFI In Muncie at AMA this June

Rad 🤘🏻 Good stuff guys ,, Freewing is definitely my fav EDF brand !! So , so nice ! As specially the Goshawk !! Wow that's a beauty !
I Love these types of videos!!!!!!
Capt Mike of the US TOP GUN SOCIETY. awesome flying Mike. you need to put a tail Hook on her and start going for the first wire 😎
Mike... setting up my AS3X for this bird. Any recommendation on starting points for gains?
Do either of you know if the Freewing landing sequencer or light sequencer can be run on 6 volts?
I’m not sure but I do know I have used those sequencers on a handful of other planes and never did anything special for them

Nice vídeo and cool plane !!!
Hi guys. Was that full throttle circuits touch and goes or did you never open it up fully? Cheers.
Malcolm Eccles I don’t think Mike ever got into the throttle on this one
@@PilotRyanMedia thanks. Nice vid
Great flying 👍👍
I just purchased one from you guys. It'll be here on Monday 10/15/18 😁
Awesome !
When will you get these back in stock?
I don’t work there. Sign up for the email notification, or get one from RC Castle
Nice , I think that's Mike's favorite thing to do . Just a guess
Hello captains.im looking for the f15 90mm build with wistles intallation video.i mean the old one.why i cannot find it.thanks.greetings from dubai
Motion took it down
Mike was killing it! Attach a paint roller to the bottom and he could make the lines
Nice
Dang Capt Mike if could land like that I would have kept my F15.
4:15 what a close call
nose up landing is call "walking the eagle" in the usaf
How much does it retail for?
swj747 around 450 usd
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
We need a v2 that’s lighter and more powerful. Love my f15 but she is a piggy even with the hp setup. The new 80mm jets just rock.
Is it still slow or just not powerful
I notice 70mm and 80s are pretty fast
