blue wheels are fire! the tire size and offset is great too
Thanks! I actually switched to 35” tires now!
Love the blue!!
We do too!
turned out dope !
Thanks should have some more content coming out on this build have changed a couple things already!
You should delete the chrome and replace it with that same blue that's on the rims. Did you notice a big difference in the ride quality after the king coilovers? Beautiful camp spot BTW We will definitely mark that spot down👍
Chrome delete is happening for sure! Definitely improved ride quality after the kings. Thing drive amazing through the mountains! Fools hollow is amazing! Have full hookups, dump station etc…
thank you for this video, may do this to my 23 when im out of warranty, sub'd!
Thanks for following along! We are loving this build so far!
I want to confirm 285/70/17? Thanks for narrating the wheel and tire specs. great offset with that amount of rubber. real nice
Yes 285/70/17!
Hell yes!!!❤❤
🥳
Would like to know more about that swing out! Jerry can mount and a table are real nice - can you share a link, or some info?
It is the Rig’D Ultraswing. They sell the table and the jerry can mount as add ons! We love this setup!
Are you really going to paint the camper? Why not vinyl wrap it? Either way is fine with me, I'm just curious and can't wait.... To watch 👍
Yes I am. Vinyl doesn’t really last in AZ with the heat. I store tin side but painting is just more permanent! You’ll see a video coming out today with it all one color!
Are you rubbing on the front reservoirs at all? I just installed this same exact kit, same wheel specs, and tires, and I'm rubbing on the front reservoirs on both sides
I am rubbing slightly I need to do an update video I put 35s on and some 1.5” wheel spacers.
Why doesn't king make a spring for the rear?
I’m not sure! All the kits come from different company’s for the rear. I actually swapped the springs from this video to a stiffer spring rate!
When you fit the 285/70R17 tires did you have to do a body mount chop or relocation? Are those Method wheels 17x8.5+0? I’m looking at wheels in that size and I’m wondering if I need to do any body mount work. Thanks!
No body work for that size! And yes that’s the offset of the method wheels!
You asked, so lm not a fan of the Lexus! I'm a G.M guy, love your Kodiak build and will stay true to you for that build. I have a Yukon XL ( cousin to a suburban) l have a 2500 with an L.B.Z. Duramax and a 6 - speed ALLISON. In it , l wish you would have built out your Suburban, a lift, maybe a solid axle swap?...
Anyway, Have fun and as always thanks for sharing 👍🏻.
I’m a ford guy that doesn’t own any Fords 😂 we all have our preferences… Kodiak content is on the way 🤙🏻 thanks for the comment.
I have a confession, l am a G.M. guy first, after that it's Ford than Dodge , Nissan would be #4 . Lexus is a great platform for what it looks like your doing! I did see some real cool ? 470 ? Something?
I know they made a very capable off - roader. I just loved your suburban! Do have fun, l do love the " King " shocks! Real nice start to the lift and suspension 💪.
Peace 🤘🤘🧡 😛 🇨🇦.
@@h.h.legacydiesel6724 the suburban wasn’t really built to tow with the aftermarket stuff done to it. I bent a valve and broke a valve spring towing the rzr to Baja. I am really enjoying this duramax in the Kodiak. Has tons of power. The GX is very capable offroad and has a v8 to tow Tiffany’s horse. And it’s very nice inside. First time owning a Lexus.
Looks good. I'm guessing you could do the same on a rwd Ford or Chevy too.
These are actually AWD with a center diff lock. But ya they make these kits for all different vehicles!
@@JensenAdventuresaz Thanks
I thought you had to have truck lifted on all 4s and disable kdss before doing this work?
I did it at the end and the GX sits perfectly level.
🙌🏼
More Lexus content coming soon!
could you please provide links for the parts used
Yes I sure will!
What spring rates did you end up going with?
Thanks man
Looks great!
I went with the 660lb 2". they rde amazing! I may have to go to the heavy duty rate if i add a roof rack and rooftop tent! Thank man!
