"Doctor Doom was throwing rocks" It was a big rock...
Alex Ramos Good one, mate
Alex Ramos Intentional Batman: The Animated Series reference?
William Avitt yep
Alex Ramos he dosnt need powers he uses magic and tec
Ha, i was thinking the exact same thing!
Aiyanna: "Flaming pile of garbage. I,m talking about Fantastic Four."
Walter: "Which one?"
Aiyanna: "EXACTLY!"
if you ask me, 'The Incredibles' is the best 'Fantastic Four' movie
Troopcaptain yeah and they had a baby.
Fantastic five now including the baby. Lol
for a second I thought you meant the two movies made a baby
And the baby had *spoiler alerts* insane powers like fantastic 4 baby
Shame that the best Fantastic Four movie isn't even called Fantastic Four.
Worst comic book movie must have one or more of these, and then how it does these:
1. Not faithful even in reference to source material.
2. Bad performances/technical details.
3. Not entertaining in an engaging or even so-bad-its-good way.
Basically no redeeming features.
My pick:
Steel.
Kal'sik Herensk mines is Elektra. I don't remember shit about that movie and it was just boring and dry.
dragon ball evolution nuff said
Eh, personally I found Steel hysterical. My pick would be Son of the Mask. Even as a 11 year old I was pissed off.
But Steel has that juicy Shaq meat
Kal'sik Herensk "Ultraviolet" with Milla Jovavich for my pick.
Batman Returns is a better Catwoman movie.
Agreed. And Christopher Walken is a better sort of villian. Celina /Catwoman is conflicted with Batman...she's his love/enemy, but more than anything, she's Shrek's (C.W) .
Re: Spiderman. While I've never been really invested in those movies, I like the first and 2nd. Esp. the effects. (That octopus guy) But VENOM in SM 3 doesn't make sense, simply because I equate venom with Poison=death, which should be more serious as opposed to stupid.
As someone who is not a fan of Batman Returns, I can say you're absolutely right
Lily Valentine They were actually supposed to make a Catwoman movie right after Batman Returns, but then Tim Burton got fired from directing the movies and then it kept going through rewrites and actor changes, and then finally got put on the shelf until the Halle Berry one was made.
Can anybody explain me, why Batman Returns is so disliked? In my opinion it was on par with Batman (1989) in atmosphere and action, the villains were fun to, i pretty much liked it and yet everyone acts like it was a huge downgrade from Burton's first Batman-movie.
I like Batman Returns.
So, what do you think is the worst comic book movie?
Fant4stic
Channel Awesome Superman IV: The Quest For Peace
Channel Awesome The Amazing Bulk
*shudder* catwoman
Fan Four Stic
You guys need to 'chill out' on hating on these movies before some fanboys put you 'on ice'. Can we all just 'be cool' and just agree that Superman vs Batman left use all 'frozen' inside.
*praise hands emoji*
Diomaxus-Sama Exe Prime XIII BvS was great. Civil War left me on ice
"Ice" pun dude.
GTFO Arnold
Hans Hoffmann HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.... NICE JOKE DUDE!
41:50 Oh, ok...umm...
...
...
...
...
...
Man, trying to think of an ice pun is difficult. I'm just sitting here, thinking to myself, not really moving. You'd almost think I was frozen.
thank you.
Aiyanna Wade no problem.
Dude.
Let it go.
You knocked it out cold.
It's hard to get those ice puns flowing.
Too fast? I'll snow down.
icely done.
I agree with aiyanna, the incredibles is the real fantastic four movie.
Elektra.
Do I really need to say anything else?
Howard the Duck
The only Batman tape I had as a kid was "Batman and Robin." The only TMNT tape I had was #3. Go figure.
Going back and watching the Burton films must've BLOWN your fucking mind.
Batman and Robin was entertaining as hell for kids! I loved it! Only when i grew up i realized how much garbage they have thrown in it, but for sure even today you can watch it smoothly as fuck.
As a kid I loved Spider man 3. It was my life. I had the toys, both costumes of Spider man and I just loved it so much. And now I look back on it and I go, "Jesus Christ that was terrible."
The Catwoman movie was in 2004.
I came looking for your comment to see if you corrected them
I don't know what the worst movie is, but I do know what the best musical is...
Spider-Man turn of the dark!!!
No one?
For me, it's a 3 way tie between X-Men Origins Wolverine, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Fant4stic
- X-Men Origins was just wrong about nearly everything
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had good things (Andrew, Emma and Sally Field's performances) but everything else was a massive trainwreck
- Fant4stic made me angry within the first 10 minutes
RiderNexus so you felt triggerd watching fant4stic also you forgot the amazing spiderman 1 because when I saw that in theaters well that was just really really shit I liked spiderman 3 better than the amazing spiderman 1
Yudi Bonavero Amazing Spider-Man 1 was just forgettable
Well, I wasn't triggered, it's just that Fant4stic made so many wrong decisions in the first few minutes that it pissed me off
RiderNexus to be honest I think x men origins wolverine is a guilty pleasure if I don't talk about deadpool quote quote or just a naked cyclops and xmen 3 is ok it's bad but ok and i enjoyed the fight scenes in fant4stic and I would of liked to see that deleted thing scene like in the trailer
Yudi Bonavero I call him Barakapool (After the Mortal Kombat character; Baraka
RiderNexus yeah I remember watching xmen origins wolverine in the movie theater with my friend and I remember when logan cut of deadpool head I just remembered my friend saying fatality
Batman v superman was the most dissapointing thing since my son...
1997residente and while my son hung himself in a gas station bathroom, Batman v Superman will be around... Forever. It will never go away
Jessica Meloy what is wrong with you people
Michael J. Caboose You want some pizza rolls?
Richard At The Movies yes
I'd do unspeakable things for an hour long BvS Plinkett review.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I fucking hate that film.
Smarky Wolf Reviews Me too they fucked up Deadpool 😡😡
+ekahnoman I was actually just a kid when Origins came out and when I found out that the footage was leaked online I was laughing and furious at the same time.
a top contender for the worst film of all time
That wasn't Deadpool. That was the living incarnation of internet trolling.
Sabretooth is my favorite X-Men character and that movie nailed him perfectly, so I have to really like it lol.
Elektra. Spawn. TMNT 3. Steel. Catwoman. There's your lineup. These movies have zero redeeming qualities. None. Absolute shit. They belong on their own little plateau of awfulness.
if you add the phantom to your list I do believe you would have a complete line up
frozenaorta Spoon
Spawn is the best superhero movie pre-2003 and has many, MANY redeeming qualities. Fantastic performances from its lead character and main villain (MJW as Spawn is the best superhero, not comic book character but superhero, performance I've ever seen), hilarious comedy, excellent soundtrack surprisingly deep and well examined themes on how the smallest choice can have the biggest consequences and about letting go of what you want for your loved ones needs. Horribly underrated movie.
Spawn at least had excellent costumes.
TheMovieDoctorful You're just embarrassing yourself
does dragon ball evolution count?
I'd say so..!
It's a manga... So yea
well, it's not based on a manga, but it is definitely some sort of superhero story, I guess.
As Manga..yes..as a movie awww HELLS NOPE!
Yes.
Fuck that movie
Man, I'm really loving these videos. Talking to you guys would be fun.
Fant4stick is a film that hurts every part of my existence with how bad it is. I know that's a hyperbole, but let me explain. The fantastic four are my favorite superhero team. They got me into comics and in general superheroes. There was always a part of the four I could relate to and overall, I love the family aspect. Something the Incredibles did very well, being a family.
But the premise of going edgy and dark was stupid. I blame both Josh Trank and Fox. It was clearly made to hold onto the rights and that is it. Fine, unless they were willing to make a good movie. Now, F4's brand is tarnished. Tarnished to such an extent! Some even claim you cannot even make a movie. But then again, I need only point to Marvel who turned Guardians of the Galaxy, a even MORE obscure superhero team with a talking tree and racoon into a blockbuster.
So yeah, I hate Fox for what they've done to it and they should sell the rights back to Marvel so as they can attempt to mend together the inane, utter BS that the franchise has gone through.
You know what killed the dinosaurs?
a meteor
thefury770able that's debatable. I'm for the theory that our alien overlords got bored of them and decided to replace them with apes.
ClockWork Rat what idiots dinosaurs are awesome
Actually, the meteor didn't kill the dinosaurs! It split them off into a parallel universe where they were ruled over by Dennis Hopper and didn't like plumbers! ;D
As of today, I have finished binge watching all of the Awesome Comics videos. I adore your guys work. Keep it up. This is some awesome content
The best part of Spider Man 3 was the Bruce Campbell cameo!
No it wasn't
There was a villain in Catwoman? I don't even remember Catwoman fighting anyone. All I remember from that movie was a lot of shots of sexy Catwoman. There was no plot it was just an excuse to put Hally Berry in a skimpy little costume.
Also Fant4stic is clearly a much worse movie than the original Fantastic Four. Rise of the Silver Surfer was kind of bad but even that movie is better than Fant4stic.
The original Fantastic Four movies had people working on them that actually cared about the franchise. The guy playing Ben Grim went through hours of make up because he didn't want the Thing animated in crappy CGI like the Hulk movie that had just been released at the time. The new Ben Grim, he doesn't care, he's CGI for most of the movie and running around completely naked with no genitals.
Johnny and Susan are suppose to be brother and sister. In the new movie because Johnny and his father are black but Susan is for some reason still white, they had to explain it away by saying she's adopted. Why didn't they just make both the Storm kids black? Personally I think it's because they didn't want to put Reed, a white guy, into a romantic relationship with a black girl which is more racist than complaining about why Johnny is suddenly black. Why would the parents adopt a daughter if they were able to have kids of their own? Why not just keep them white so we could avoid questioning their family history at all?
Also the original movie keeps the relationship between Reed and Ben intact. Ben knows that what happened was an accident and trusts Reed to find a cure. It's always been that way. But in the new movie Ben blames Reed for causing the accident and hates him. Sure they start off as friends but as soon as they get their powers Ben hates Reed for the rest of the movie.
Oh and Doom, both movies do a horrible job of portraying the main villain. His accent is basically non-existent despite being from a different country. They both give him powers he never had. However the original Dr. Doom at least LOOKS like Dr. Doom. I don't know what that thing in the new movie was but it's not Dr. Doom. That thing looks more like an episode of Star Trek the Next Generation where they go to this planet that gives Geordie his vision back but also mutates him into a weird looking alien thing. That's what Dr. Doom reminds me of in the new movie.
I don't think any of these are the worst Comic Book movie. These are terrible there's no doubt about that, but I've seen worse.
RialVestro the villain in "Catwoman" was literally makeup 😅. Makeup that makes your skin hard and ugly if you ever stop using it. Not even joking
RialVestro I remember that Star trek episode
RialVestro I remember that Star trek episode
The Mask 2 is the worst comic book movie. nuff said
Mask 2 , cat woman or steel? Cat woman is definitely close
The worst Spider-man movie was definitely NOT Spider-man 3 or The Amazing Spider-man 2. It was the 1977 made-for-TV pilot movie. Worst Spider-man costume, worst acting, slow and boring pace, shittiest special effects ever, and none of the main villains are in the movie. It's the absolute WORST.
I'm shocked that Steel with Shaquille O'Neal wasn't picked.
it is so bad and cheesy so it is pretty charming, yes it is very and but it has heart in its cheesiness.
I genuinely like Kazaam for its cheese factor, but Steel is just so uninspired and dull...
Robert Uzarski The story ark of the suflé is amazing
i always feel like if spiderman 3 was only about sandman it could have been good
That moment you realize that your fever has caused you to confuse Heather with Nostalgia Chick based mostly on the fact that they both have long black hair and are women.
I remember going to see Spiderman 3 and the part where Mj and Harry kissed a little boy shouted out of nowhere "I thought she liked Peter!" Everyone busted out laughing in the theater, soo freaking funny xD
I'm sorry Internet but suicide squad is my pick
It's a shit movie but it wasn't even the worst this year.
+Rhetro Active what was the worst this year?
Jkop Ghostbusters 2016
Keeping Up With The Jonneses
How is that "sorry internet?" You're just feeding into the big internet circlejerk right now. 10 years from now Suicide Squad will be barely remembered as thoroughly average.
Even though I don't remember much about that movie, my worst one would have to be Elektra.
We didn't get to see "Black Suit Spidey"... we saw Spidey's red and blue suit colored black.
Channel awesome my name is Joshua and I'm a new subscriber I've been watching The Nostalgia Critic since I was in high school and I've always watched it since I'm 21 years old now and what keeps me hooked on is when The Walker does the charity show that I think that's pretty awesome keep doing what you guys do
To be fair, when Spider-Man blew up Venom, he didn't mean for Eddie to die as well. In fact, Parker pulled him out and then threw in the grenade. Eddie choose his demise.
it was ICE to see this video, very COOL choices of bad movies...........
ice.
Galactic Hobo nice comment
Galactic Hobo I was frozen today...with watching this video.
The original MRjguill yes, i too was froze in awe as i observed this spine chilling video,
I freeze what you did there
I went to see Fantastic Four 2015 with my friend who knows nothing about comics and she even HATED it, while I was cursing all the way to the car.
haha there is so much stuff he can call out about that movie
@channelawesome would you do a debate about current comic book adaptation directors (TV and film)?
Awesome piece of content. Keep up the great work! :))
Nothing beats Catwoman. Well, technically everything beats Catwoman...YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, DAMNIT!!! ~_~
Yeah, though Fant4stic comes really, really close. But at least it isn't offensive from start to finish.
Elektra is there too. It was so bad.
chickenpermission
I HATE Dragonball Evolution, but I still think Catwoman is worse. At least DBE still calls Goku "Goku," Catwoman isn't even named Selena Kyle! DBE takes a giant dump on the source material, but Catwoman ignores the source material completely. Horrible, horrible movie...
~_~
Dragner
Yeah it was pretty bad, but at least there were ninjas. Ninjas make any movie just a little bit better...
~_~
Majin Sole the halle berry catwoman was not based on selena kyle. she was not the Batman catwoman. this was a different character from a different comic series. not at all related, except the name. just like how spider woman had nothing to do with spider man.
Can we get nostalgia critic on Movie Fights?!
He's been on there a couple of times before.
I think only once... and it's a long way from chicago to LA. Also, he makes best. facial. expressions. at movie fights.
Josh Trank now wants to do a movie about Al Capone with Tom Hardy.
I'm glad he's still around and hopefully he'll redeem himself.
Love this episode! Will you do a best comic book movie episode?
Ice puns in the comments you say? Cool!
You know you're around young people when the comment section's most popular choices are Batman v Superman and Fant4stic.
Hulk with Eric Bana. It was so bad that both my nephews fell asleep in the theater while we were watching it. The entire sequence with his dad is WTF worthy.
i started Young Justice today. appropriate that all those freeze-related villains be present in the COLD opening.
I think the worst movie is steele
I mean they portrayed that character
so horribly am I right or nah
I was never able to bring myself to watch that one. Even when it was new it looked like it was going to be dogshit.
Catwoman or Supergirl
Excited Cat hope the dc tv series get the character right
I still think Spiderman 3 is an enjoyable movie and not as bad as others make it out to be. Besides the rushed, halfassed Venom and MJ's trashy behavior I like the movie. I don't think it should be in the same category as the movies the other three brought up. Out of the three they brought up from worst to best it's Fantastic 4 (2015, and it's HORRENDOUS) Catwoman (even though I don't hate it as much as others) TMNT 3 (The only good thing was that they brought Casey Jones back but that's it) and Spiderman 3. I think X Men 3 or Wolverine Origins should of taken Spiderman 3's place IMO.
it deserves to be there because the franchise a. had hit two homeruns with the previous movies 2. had the structural and visual palette to perfectly introduce ALL of Spiderman's villains in a franchise and D. had a great cast and yet they (SONY not Raimi) Rushed to introduce venom for promotional purposes. Scorpion would have been a great story to give JK Simmons (The Best choice for JJ Ever) a longer role and Rhino is important for Venoms story. These things were overlooked for the black suit. overall the whole movie is on autopilot
Spiderman 3 had potential to be good. Especially with the plot of the symbiot suit and Sandman. That's all they needed and get rid of the stupid ideas. They should have saved Venom for a 4th movie. As for Harry Osborne. Well, I don't think that was bad
There had to have been some kind of money laundering or embezzling going on behind the scenes with Catwoman. That movie had a budget of $100 million. There's no way the movie actually cost that much. And the director was just some random visual effects guy. Even he was surprised he got offered the job. So he probably didn't know where all the money was going.
Amazing Spider Man 2 is worst than Spider Man 3.
Spider-Man 2 is the only legitimately good Spider-Man movie.
Connor Wood Definitely.
Zack Snyder's *_Watchmen_* was a freakin' Masterpiece.
Just sayin'
For me it is Batman & Robin and TMNT 3. Catwoman and Green Lantern were bad but they didn't have anything to live up to or that had hightened my expectations. As a child who was a big fan of the Batman and TMNT films and franchise, my little heart was broken watching TMNT3 and B&R and being hit with the crushing disappointment.
My problem with Spiderman 3 was MJ. Kirsten Dunst was super corny in the first two, but at least she was redeemable. In the 3rd one she was SO damn needy. My god. Same as Peter and Eddie. Harry was high the whole time. AND WTF BERNARD??? "Hey harry.....yeah I knew how your dad died a while ago.....but I just didnt tell you because plot development lololol. Sorry bro."
The worst comic book films ever are The Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2
oh, wait, I forgot the critic liked those
Agreed, Garfield was terrible as Parker
James Mulchrone Haha! He was THE LEAST of those movie's problems! At least you could see he was having fun.
I think the new fantastic 4 movie was better then the old ones. My opinion
Squad Reacts I didn't think it was that bad.
I actually took it more of like an interstellar kinda thing with it and found it suprisingly interesting in that aspect
For me, no way. The 2000's F4 was at least a fun movie, despite being stupid. Fan4stic tried to be this edgy and overly intelligent sci-fi movie, and this really doesn't work for the actual F4 team at all. The exploring other planets part was pretty good, but everything else is not. Not to mention this the worst adaptation of Dr. Doom we have ever seen, and that's saying a lot.
***** What part of the comment was difficult to interpret? Yes, the movie acted like it was some genius work of science fiction, when in reality it was a fairly hollow film with some science, but very little substance. It seemed to forget that the source material is a comic book which was known for interesting science fiction and team development.
The first 1/3 of Fant4stic was a genuinely great film with great performances, interesting characters (Albeit never developed) and a brilliant new take on the characters, creepy, annoying Elliot Rodger version of Victor Von Doom aside. I remember at the 30 or 40 minute mark I thought to myself "THIS is the movie that people were flipping out over? So far, I'm absolutely in love with it, it surely can't be that bad."
.,.Then they get their powers. And everything goes downhill almost immediately. Those interesting characters never developed, some of which fullon became pricks like Reed Richards who left his BEST FRIEND alone and terrified in the government facility, the villain is rushed into the movie as abruptly and awkwardly as possible with no motivation and the team hardly has any time to even interact with eachother despite being pitched to us as "a family." There are SMALL things that I liked in the final 2/3 like the "It's clobbering time!" being symbolic for the victimized Ben Grimm taking something that used to be a symbol of fear and pain (His brother's abuse) and turning it into something empowering, like his powers and new appearance, and the cast is still perfect throughout for their roles, but it never really recovered to become anything more than mediocre.
Still, I'd tend to agree that it's better than either of the Tim Story Fantastic Four movies for that first 1/3 alone.
Note about TMNT: Originally pitched as a spinoff of Daredevil (same radioactive canister that blinded Matt Murdock also irradiated the turtles and Splinter). Marvel EIC Jim Shooter rejected it as "too amateurish".
41:44--Stand by those ice puns? How very cool of you! So chill about it!
Worst is Catwoman. That film is an insult to everything and everyone. It is an unwatchable mistake.
Others bad CBM's for me include : Superman 4, Batman & Robin, Green Lantern, Fant4stic and Amazing Spiderman 2
Also, im surprised people are saying Suicide Squad or Batman v Superman for worst. I mean, I get people didn't like those movies, but I didn't think they weren't anywhere NEAR worst. Not even top 10 worst.
Yeah. People like the shit on the latest movie that disappointed them. Give it a few years and most people won't care anymore.
BvS gets hate because of it's missed potential. It could have been great but it wasn't. It had so much money and generally pretty good actors attached to it but failed. Everyone expected Green lantern, catwoman, and fantastic 4 to fail. The others are sequels and those do go downhill at some point. BvS should have been epic. And it was suppose to finally compete with marvel. That disappointment makes people hate on it more.
I haven't seen most of the really bad movies but for what I've seen Howard the duck is the worst. Catwoman is up there too for me. Nothing really redeemable in those movies.
Amazing spiderman 2 has at least some redeeming factors I would say. Garfield and Emma stone still have good chemistry. Batman and robin was suppose to be camp I think, just went way overboard. I would say it'd still be entertaining to like a 7 year old or something.
there's not much to say about a video you haven't watched.
Lost Connection so since you don't have much to say your strategy to say something was to say that there isn't much to say. Interesting tactic I say.
Imagine everything you hate about shitty CB movies put together into one movie but so much worse, that's what the POS Fant4stic movie was like
"What killed the dinosaurs? The ice age." There I did it.
Cool yourselfs, Doug and Aiyanna. I've got ya covered!
:) :) :)
Aiyanna Wade love you sooooooo much! P.S I have the biggest crush on you ever lmao
No way ! Mine is bigger !
Nick Fury: Agent of S. H. I. E. L. D. Starring David Hasselhoff. Terrible movie.
Mr4theLulz1 you have a funny way to spell "awesome movie"
to the tune of the beach boys: Wouldn't it be ICE if we were COLDER...
can you please review the Doctor Who Power of the Daleks animated episodes that were recently released? I don't know if you guys watch DW either way I would love to see you guys review it
This video was cool as ice.
yaaaaaas
Aiyanna Wade love you sooooooo much P.S I have the biggest crush on you ever lol
yubel10 *slow claps*
Bad movies like Batman and Robin or Green Lantern..they're just crap that doesn't register in my brain. Batman V Superman...that movie makes me angry. Nearly every single moment in that film is wrong in one way or another. There's a ton of money and hype behind it and it's just SO bad!
Brett PGH There were good things in it
You guys should look up a video entitled _Everything Great about Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice_ by a channel named Cinema Wins. It might be enlightening.
Although, my experience with those that hate _[as opposed to just dislike; there is a _*_HUGE_*_ difference]_ BvS has taught me that most of those types of people are incapable of being enlightened. But eh, maybe you guys are the exception to this rule.
I'm not kidding when I say every moment of the film. Even the parts people think are "good." That great Batman fight in the warehouse? Why are there armed henchmen there to stop Superman, what are they gonna do? Batman starts fighting and he's clearly portrayed as superhuman. He throws a giant crate across a room with one arm, and that kills a guy. He gets stabbed right in the shoulder, you see the blade go in, one second later he's up and beating a guy using the arm that was just stabbed. No blood, no injury.
Juanito G The ONLY reason for that car chase is for an action scene, within the story it makes literally no sense.
Lex's henchmen are trying to keep Batman from getting the kryptonite. But really Lex needs Batman to get the kryptonite. And Batman doesn't even know what kryptonite is! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember a single scene where Bruce learns that kryptonite hurts Superman. Lex knows that, we know it as the audience, but when does Bruce learn that? He just does it because the movie needs him to.
RE: Superman hovering above flood victims. Cool visual, sure. But it's yet another thing that goes against what we know to be Superman. We're used to him swooping down and saving people with a smile. Here he's hovering above them like an angry god. When he pulls that boat through the ice he looks fucking miserable. From what I'm seeing on screen Superman hates helping people. And that just...man that kills who his character is supposed to be.
Juanito G I agree with all the points you make. Zach Snyder shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Superman. You know who should? Max Landis. I encourage you to watch his UA-cam videos about Clark, and then read American Alien. Now that's a guy who really gets who Superman is supposed to be.
I have the exact same hoodie as Walter in the opening! I actually have 2 of them cause they were a good price at walmart, and the zippers broke on *BOTH* of them :'(
I would say the worst is probably Green Lantern or Superman IV: Quest for Peace.
Umm...Batman and Robin was NOT impressive in any way!!! It did not look good, and it was NOT impressing to see!!!!
I agree, the sets and lighting are so garish and obnoxious.
*****
Haha, yeah sure Joel.......
It's so bad, it's good. And that, in and of itself, is impressive.
I find it funny how everyone's shirt matches their worst Comic book movie, like...
Walter wearing a Spider-Man shirt, Spider-Man 3
Aiyanna wearing a Marvel shirt, Fan4stic
Heather wearing a Batman/DC shirt, Catwoman
while Doug is kept a mystery
It's always ice to see a new channel awesome video.
And as for the worst comic book movie, icy where you're all coming from but it has to be Batman and Robin.
Ice pun.
I found a DVD copy of the Fantastic Four 2015 once in my mall's trash can. No, really. It was still in the case, with the DVD fully intact.
38:53 (Spiderman singing along to MJ's Broadway play) XD
The worst comic book movies were the ones they made in the early 90s when Marvel comics started becoming really popular. I think the worst was the 90/91 Captain America. They clearly ran out of money in the middle and about half the movie is just shots of Steve Rogers walking around.
Walter, @10:00, they cant do a clayface as the villain thing because this catwoman is not the batman catwoman, but a different character with her own unrelated book. only the name is the same. in fact, the Batman catwoman was originally known as "the cat" which is why this title can exist legally.
Picked some real stinkers.
*TMNT 3. Yes it was bad but it was also kind of forgettable.
*Catwoman had more to do with the movie Cat People than anything DC.
*Fantastic 4. OMG. Can Fox please stop making Marvel movies? It is time for all fans of Marvel to simply boycott every Marvel movie made by Fox. I can not say they are not even trying because they clearly are. They are trying to RUIN all Marvel franchises they can get their hands on. What I have seen from Fox go's beyond incompetence. If Marvel was a government, Fox would be tried for treason. I'll say it again. Fox is actively and on purpose trying to ruin all things Marvel.
*Spider-Man 3. *sigh* I just don't have the energy.
Slightly ripping on the Screen Junkies Movie Fights format, but enjoyable all the same. Worthy of a thumbs up.
My least favorite Comic Book Movies:
1. Howard the Duck (1986)
2. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987)
3. Catwoman (2004)
4. Fant4stic (2015)
5. Elektra (2005)
6. Supergirl (1984)
7. Daredevil (2003)
8. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)
9. Captain America (1990)
10. Steel (1997)
11. Fantastic Four (2005)
12. Return of the Swamp Thing (1989)

You know what I just realized? Joe Manganiello, who played Flash Thompson in Spiderman 1... HE SHOULD'VE BEEN VENOM!
Catwoman Fun Fact:
29-year old Hawaiian born Nito Larioza is a martial arts expert who was given an unusual job assignment...Halle Berry's stunt double in the Catwoman movie.
Larioza puts on the catsuit and wears red lipstick for the role. He is the same height, and had the same skin color as Berry.
But, as Larioza says, "the scenes are shot so fast you can't tell. But a lot of boys feasting their eyes on Halle's sexy costume are gonna flip when they realize they got steamy about a bloke in a girl's costume."
30 seconds in and Doug's just DANCIN'!
I finally got the hair flip gag because I've been catching up on Tamara's Never Seen.
Billy Zane and his The Panthom, as a Swede i grow up with the Phantom for it was among the most popular comicbooks heros here and they still print the Phantom here and write new stories, so that movie was a hit in the groin.
@spiderman 3,You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the bad comics movies, not join them! Bring balance to the force... not leave it in darkness!
Every time I see that dancing scene from Spider-man 3, all I can see is K.D. Lang.
The only great thing about the 3rd TMNT movie is the Tarzan Boy song scene...admit it,you loved that scene and song too.
If I may, you should read the "Spider-Man: Birth of Venom" Collection, It's basically ASM #252 thru ASM #316 Along with Web of Spider-Man #1
In The Spider-Man 3 DVD they said they didn’t want to “waste time” telling the symbiote’s story
Howard the Duck is my pick. Howard is my 2nd favorite superhero, and I hate the way he is portrayed in the movie! What's worse is when I tell people that I like Howard the Duck, they say "you mean that movie from the 80's?" I just want to yell "NO!!! THAT PIECE OF TRASH IS NOTHING LIKE THE SOURCE MATERIAL AND DOESN'T DESERVE TO SHARE THE SAME NAME!!!"
I don't know what you guys did but the sound is so much better.
So excited to hear you guys are doing a Batman Beyond video!
I really REALLY don't think SpiderMan 3 deserves to be in a worst CBM list. Its not great, but its far from being aweful...
Dominique Deguire I actually loved it. The best one us f the three in my opinion
I have to agree with Aiyanna. With movies like Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Green Lantern, and Thor: The Dark World, those films had problems that were only compounded by the serious thematic and atmospheric mistakes. Fant4stic dodged all of those, and made my pick for the worst simply by being incredibly bad all around.
I'd go with Green Lantern... because when a classic superhero can't even make it to the DC Cinematic Universe and that even the main actor takes pot shots at it in a rival movie (Deadpool), you know you messed up :P
Nobody picked Green Lantern? I still can't get over why nobody in the movie ever brought up the fact that Abin Sur / Hal Jordan's ring was basically paper to Parallax's rock. Every other GL ring in the movie was scissors.
Honestly, I like spider-man 3. For me the symbiote is very creepy before it takes control of Peter. The score is just gorgeous and the direction by Raimi is still top notch. Plus it has awesome moments like Peter putting the red suit back on, the final battle and the crane scene.
It definitely has script problems but I really enjoy watching it every time I do. And I would prefer to watch that over something like BvS.
My problem with three US a Too Many Cooks situation
KidSnivy69 Thats true. It is definitely an instance of that. I do still really like it though.
The Gargantuan Apple I never said you couldn't. I was just stating what I though Spider-Man 3's biggest flaw
KidSnivy96 Yeah no worries. Didn't mean for the comment to sound rude
