Hey bro I worked in the office majority of my life but since I was laid off in 2021 due to Covid I decided to get my CDL at 38 years of age. So far I worked at 3 trucking company’s 7 months experience. (1.Dollar General OTR) (US Foods local) and now JB Hunt OTR regional. So far it’s not working out for me I was recently put on a 3 month Probation because the door on my trailer wasn’t secure when I was backing in and when I backed into a dock my door pushed it in. It technically wasn’t my fault because the trailers here are in bad shape. Just the idea of being put on probation makes me want to look for something else or give up on CDL all together. I would love a job like this. I wish FedEx paid for training.
They do!!! Apply for Driver apprentice either city or road driver, get your class a cdl permit, air break, doubles triples, and tanker endorsement as well as hazmat (check your local dmv for help with those) and once hired just learn as much as you can. Good luck. 🍀
@@theblackstallion4912 thank you so much!
Whatever it is, will not be worth the cost of being treated like youre inferior trash just bc youre ⚪

TYPICAL DAY FOR FEDEX DRIVER IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD IS DRIVE PAST THE HOUSE, DON'T STOP, MARK THE PACKAGE DELIVERED, AND SELL IT ON EBAY. AND TRY TO BLAME THE POST OFFICE FOR LOSING IT. F'ING THIEVES.
Not FedEx freight thou. We make enough money to keep our hands off the packages. That’s the ground ppl!! Lmaoo
Postal workers in a nutshell. Doesn't matter if they wear brown, purple or blue, they're all the same scum.

That awkward moment when the algorithm is completely brain dead. Why tf would I have any interest in watching the Dbags who work for crappy shipping companies? So I can witness firsthand how little they do their jobs? At least back in the day they paid me to do that. LOL nah man, I'm good
Thanks for commenting anyway….hopefully your day gets better!!

Average 8-10 mostly some days more

How long does it take to become a line haul driver?
Depends on the center you’re out of. Some centers like mine it’s very competitive when positions become available.
Hope you fuel up tractor after run our city guys never do 👎
When I have my own tractor it depends on the fuel level. When I’m slip seating after every shift religiously.
Good morning, dude
Good morning....afternoon now lol!
