      Thank you🙂. I honestly prefer a raw stainless steel base, to a spray painted, for this technique. I love the depth of it all. 😊🌺🐭🍁

    Beautiful!!! I’m a tumbler beginner but having lots of problems with my white alcohol ink from Piñata. I thought I might have picked up a dodgy one (or I was doing something wrong). Thank you for explaining that you have had issues with it too! 🙏🏼❤️

      Thank you 😊. They definitely have some great colors. I have never had good luck with their white. T-Rex has a good white. But, I much prefer a white pigment in epoxy. It sinks and blends, so much better. Keep playing, it's not you😊🌺🐭

      @@sandisshedhouse4741 Thanks Sandi! Yes, their other colours are really good.. it was just the white. That’s why I thought I might have picked up an expired one (or done something wrong). Anyway, thanks for your tips and tutorials, they really help!

    What kind of turner do you have? I’m just getting started in all this beautifulness

      I use turners my husband and I made.
      You can order the rotisserie motors from Amazon pretty inexpensively. There are several UA-cam videos of how to make diy tumbler turners. If you lived in upstate NY, I'd give you my 4 arm turner.

    Do I have to put a second coat of epoxy ona tumbler like this.

    • @sandisshedhouse4741
      @sandisshedhouse4741  10 місяців тому

      That's entirely up to you. I would recommend an additional coat for the sake of durability. One coat could easily Crack or shatter with a simple bump. 😊

    When you put the epoxy on at the start ,maid you let it set before you started putting the ink on or was it still wet .

      @@sandisshedhouse4741 what do you need to do the tumblers

    • @sandisshedhouse4741
      @sandisshedhouse4741  2 роки тому

      That's a good question, Rachel.
      My first answer would be...
      *A basic understanding of epoxy. There are thousands of UA-cam videos on the subject.
      But, here's a list of items:
      Amazon will have many of the items you'll need.
      *A tumbler Turner
      *Tumblers
      *Epoxy
      *Gloves
      *Measuring vessels
      *Popsicle sticks
      *Good ventilation
      *Respirator
      *Heat gun/butane torch
      ****Optional Additives****
      Glitter/Mica powder/alcohol ink/resin pigments/spray paint/acrylic paints/vinyl (cutting machine, cricut?) or /temporary tattoos/stickers/waterslide paper(printer).
      These are only suggestions. You certainly don't need all of this to start. I built my supplies as I went along. Don't overwhelm yourself. Go slow and experiment with designs. Ask as many questions as you need to.
      Join some FB groups. The people on them are usually willing to share their knowledge and are very helpful.
      I know this is long....and I'm sure I've missed a few things. Before you start, watch as many UA-cam videos as you can.
      If you have more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help. Best wishes!
      You can do this😊🌺🐭

      Thank you. Yes, I did put a top coat on. You want to make sure you cover the inks that may not sink down into the epoxy.
