For the price you pay for an LTZ you really get a lot out of this car. I bought one and my girlfriend ended up loving it so she drives that now and I bought a Malibu 2LT. I have a 13 LTZ and it really is a reliable car. Another thing too is the 1.4L turbo engine picks up and goes for what it is. And add a K&N intake it goes swoosh swoosh from that turbo recirculator. Good review man also your Camaro video in the snow gave me hope that we could rip our Camaro through snow if need be.
Been reading from many sources that Cruze is rated the lowest reliability in its class. This should be shocking as the Cruze was introduced as a 2011 model and SHOULD not be experiencing any problems this early on, yet it is. There are much better options for the money and not to mention the resale value on these are atrocious.
snowshredder102 haven't had any issues but I did get the extended warranty just in case and my girlfriend loves it. And the resale value you are right. It's not that great I have noticed that especially in the lower trims, also gm massed produced these like crazy they sell a ton of them. But I see your point.
No issues with our cruze, bought a 2012 cruze Ltz and drive that car everywhere. You can't believe everything you read from these magazines. I would take my advice from real owners. I believe for the money and the features you get from this car you can't go wrong.

a few things I noticed , one is the way you said "the new front tail lights " don't you mean the new Drl , tail lights are at the back of the car my friend . Anyway the cruze should have hid or xzenon by now even the new i20 does , the euro rs package has a really nice rear bumper I have no idear why they are using this Lego block still . And cloth on the dash it's got leather just put leather on the dash as well that's all i have to say but it's a nice car
Could it be a fuel pump problem? I've taken it to get checked twice already tomorrow will be the third in less than a month. And when they check it out with computer the computer can't find the problem.
First of all let me just say thank you for a very thorough and a very PRACTICAL review of this car. Far too many reviewers just stand outside a car and talk about it. I really appreciate the fact you "sat down in the seat" and showed us the day to day, practical use features on the car. I'm in the market for buying my first ever compact car due to now facing a daily commute of close to 90 miles (roundtrip). I'm down to the Corolla, Civic and the Cruze. Right now the Cruze wins on the looks factor (hands down) and the American company factor. I think my only concern is long term reliability and maintenance. The Corolla has a well established history of being a reliable and low maintenance car so that is weighing in its corner. In the end I think I'll just have to test drive all three to see how I'd feel driving them on a daily basis. I'll admit, I hope the Cruze wins out but I do wonder if it can/will be a 200,000 mile car. Again, thanks for a very good review.
+WVFreebyrd I did 215 K on my 2012 Chev Cavalier Sport, and still runs fine, gave it to my son, had about the same repairs that a CIvic with the same miles had over 12 yrs. that a company car showed. Are Japanese cares over rated? I think so.
never saw a uk spec cruze ltz with remote start or central locking working when you change gear. plus we only get small 1600 and 1800 engines with super short gearing, that drink fuel cos its a big heavy car. best uk model get the 1700 diesel if you can find one, also chevrolet are pulling out of the uk in the very near future.

Cruze competes with Jetta which has 15.5 cubic ft of trunk space so how is the does the Cruze get best in class? GM wasn't the first and isn't the only brand that offers 4G LTE WiFi embedded in their cars. This review seems a bit biased since it's a Chevy salesman.
2012 I test drove a Chevrolet Cruze here in UK. The car is a heap of shite unless you like hard hard hard seats; cheap plastics all inside; sluggish engine. Only plus side is the looks, its a gorgeous looking car with presence when parked. Verdict - AVOID!!!!

Можно было давно взять банальный дешевый андроид-смартфон, прицепить к нему питалово от бортовой сети и управление функциями авто по bt или wifi, может по мелочи свое ПО немного написать под андроид, вывести слот под симку и карту памяти на панель и дисплейчик китайский амолед. И все!!!! было бы все что нужно... и карты с навигацией нахаляву и звонки и gps и инет с видео/музыкой.

I love my 2015 chevy cruze LTZ RS. But it sucks that it doesn't have a memory card slot or play videos.
