Im so excited to see you react to Beastie Boys 😂 I'm a 49 yr old woman still got all of em' on heavy repeat. I'm glad to see you're taking time to open up to the legends us old people grew up on!! You are now enlightened 😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣❤❤ and I'm here for it!!! Ayeee Les' git' it!! 🎵🎶🎼🎤🎧🎛🔊
@Jayizzo007 US! if you in my age bracket! You know you holdin that family size bottle of Aleve, and can remember all the lyrics in Beastie Boys catalog but can't remember why you walked into a room. Don't even try and lie 😂🤣😂🤣😭😭☠️☠️⚰️⚰️⚰️

The most priceless moment of the whole reaction: your facial expression at the line about her name The License to Ill album is really something --- this song, Brass Monkey, and Paul Revere, along with Fight for Your Right got played a lot on my cassette boom box. Memories
I had tickets to see the Beastie Boys on their first UK tour. I was sooo excited. That was until my Dad told me I wasn't allowed to go. He had read some reviews of their gigs 😂😂. I'll regret it forever. I'd have loved seeing early Beastie Boys live 😢
Love these reactions. If you have not already done them, I hope you do Rhymin and Stealin, Posse in Effect, or Slow Ride next. While they are all of the same record as this reactions song, they are still amazing. The whole album is. Glad you have been enjoying them.
My Gen's music!! I have Beastie Boys channel on Pandora. And in the 80's ALL the good dance clubs had dance cages for "Those Girls" near the front when you walked in.
Sorry if these are bad suggestions, I’ve only started listening to them about 3 months ago! Have been my favorite since and I’ve probably listened to them the most out of any other artist (besides Blur, my Blur phase was rough)
Great react. If you are interested in hearing more Beastie Boys, their 2nd album Paul's Boutique is the height of the "pre-sampling Laws" old school hip hop. Before the sample Laws drastically changed the course and fate of hip hop. Pauls boutique could not afford to be made with todays Laws. BBoys arent going to necessarily melt your brain with conplex bars, they were more about party time and getting the crowed hyped. They did that as well as any group ever. ..Withoit the BBoys, white america would not have accepted rap music and hip hop culture so quickly (thank you Rick Ruben). Now, their concerts on the other hand..the epitomy of old school pre-sample laws hip hop. The true essence of old school. And for me, the most entertaing form LIVE. Mix master mike, with his Wawa peddle hooked to his turn tables trying to throw the boys endless sampling curve balls, mid song, is a must see. Check your head is an underrated album as well.
Yeah, this was the era they weren't too proud of but it made them who they are too. Thus the respect to women deal years later, it was an apology. And to think they started as a punk rock band before they made it this big.
If you're enjoying this era there are some Ice -T songs you need to check out. Start with, I'm Your Pusher (get high on Kool Moe Dee, Doug E Fresh, Eric B and Rakim, BDP, PE, Biz Markie...we don't want that LL Cool J(they were beefing back then)) and I tell you what to do after that. Probably, You Played Yourself. Some of Ice-T's songs had beats very similar to the B Boys, ie 80s hip hop drum loop with rock guitar elements. Some of his songs were smooth af with soul elements as well. However, his topics are little more pointed and introspective. A really really good underrated storyteller. Them days he was writing about censorship, drugs(Ice-T was always ANTI drugs), gangs and violence (not in a glamourizing way), and alot of sexual rhymes(That Girl Tried To Kill Me). He was serious af, and funny as hell.
Stripper cages were a thing back in the day but it was about their protection from weirdos. Like how a shark diving cage isn't meant as a jail for the diver.
I enjoy your reactions and personality BUT you have to work on your audio. We can't always hear you talking and when we can it doesn't sound right. Other than that it's awesome 🤘🏼
Ok.... for this video... my recommendation... Hey Ladies... you can clearly tell they are saterizing themselves. If you didn't know, they are not the biggest fans of their own first album. They are actually pretty ashamed. Look up the working title of their first album and you'll get a clue as to why
Have the Beasties been blocking videos? That's unusual. By the way, this song became She's Kraft Cheese and Macaroni to my friends and I because we were stupid kids lol. There's a lot of Beasties revisionist history out there. They were not faking acting like this. They were young guys in the 80s who were loving life. They said and did dumb stuff, then grew up and did and said other stuff. That's how it works.
If you like the Beastie boys, do some investigation and find a track called "the fly style." It was not on any of their normal releases. It is completely uncensored and nasty as hell!!!!
Enjoy This Reaction While You Can , I Wouldn’t Be Surprised If They Blocked This Reaction In The Future … 🎉
Would you care to elaborate? I always love seeing your Beastie reactions pop up and would be disappointed if they had to stop for some reason.
@@rev.jimmywonko9615 He's talking about the brief boob shot. I think it escaped the censors back in the day because it's so quick.

Brilliant
Born in '67.... Brilliant era growing up, bump'n beatie boys on the old school car audio. Kenwood, Orion, Pyle Driver.... Great times, my friends!!
The Beasties were teenagers when they wrote this album. They were still awesome, but clearly grew over the years in their flow and song lyrics.
Best Led Zeppelin sample.
No doubt. One of my favorite LZ songs.
