MYTHM sound design has been my most requested tutorial as of late, and for a good reason.
The people want to know how to get those richly distorted, thick, and gritty textures from their basses.
And it's easier than you might think, and can be done with Vital and stock plugins.
So in this Vital sound design tutorial, I'll show you how to layer distortion for maximum clarity, fullness, and texture from your basses.

I love how concise these tuts are. You don't muck about. It makes the entire experience far more watchable when you just get right into it and don't say or do a bunch of unnecessary shit like so many others are guilty of.
You are by far the best ableton / serum / vital teacher on the internet, better than any paid lesson or tutorials. Ive learned more about bass music techniques watching your videos in the past couple months than years of scrounging youtube for somewhat decent tutorials. You my friend are better at teaching than Mr. Bill just cause you actually get down to the nit and gritty of the bass design and actually show us what most producers I feel like are afraid to show because it just shows how simple music can be and demystifies the experience into bite sized chunks we can actually digest. Within the first month of watching you my sound design leveled upso hard that I got my firs record deal on sleeveless records and now I am already being offered another with Wakaan like wtf bro you helped me realize my dreams. Thank you from all of us in the rat race that is the music bussiness, you helped us find our way to the glorified cheese.

When I’ve tried to use the sine fold distortion in vital it feels like it just turns the highs into noise that I get anxiety if it’s not highpassed but it sounds cool here I guess cause no ott on the post process right
