Great video. I basically followed it step by step. I installed it on my wife's 2016 Chevy Impala Limited LTZ. I did wire my own harness and went with a different camera. All went smooth, until I put everything in place and funny, I must have bumped the program button also, even with keeping it in mind. Thanks to you having done it 1st, it was a simple correction. I do have a question though. Does the temperature function on the instrument panel still work on yours? I just have dashes. Not sure if I missed a wire for something or that's how it will work now.
Thank you! Glad to see you figured out the temp control module problem. Thankfully all of my temp functions still worked fine after the install :) Did you module fail or did you miss a plug or something?
I don't think the car ever had XM so I'm not sure. I do think with XM often each radio has it's own XM tuner that you need to tie the XM tuner radio serial number to your account for it to work properly.
Android auto and Apple carplay all plays from phone that is connected to radio and out the car's speakers. I've only tested with this specific radio and car trim combo and not any different configuration so can't say. What car do you have and what trim and year is it?
Very clean job 💪🏾
Thank you! 🙏

Never mind, it was a separate issue with temp control module.

did you have to get an aftermarket XM tuner to use the xm or did the radio sync with the factory installed tuner?

Do you have to get that adapter to keep the steering functions?
Yes, if you want to retain steering wheel controls.
Hi does it work for 2013 impala?
Yes, it should work the same! This video is for the models without Bose.
Does the CarPlay sound play for the Bose car speakers too?
