    "Finland has been globally known as the country of honesty, considerateness, meticulousness, Finnish persistence ("Sisu") and the highest quality"
    Excerpt taken from your website.. I consider myself lucky to have found this channel.. nothing can make you stand out more than that traditional form of teaching you have.. I learn as you learn.. its very unique.. You have no aura of cynicism which basically all fitness gurus have. Thank you for being this way Eero believe it or not the world really needs someone like you :) I hope you never lose this traditional way of being no matter how successful you become.

    something about the cold makes the body look more cut afterwards, I think it is because the extra blood and fluid is withdrawn back into the core of the body making the skin appear thinner.

    Immersing the body in ice water this way is supposed to be very beneficial after a workout because it cuts down on the inflammatory response. I saw one UA-cam video in which they showed the people working out at a gym and getting cryotherapy afterwards - they said it cost $100 dollars for 3 sessions. Apparently you can re-create a similar thing by filling a bathtub with cold water and then adding at least one bag of ice to it. Ideally you would have one filled with warm water as well, but who has 2 bathtubs next to each other?

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  5 років тому

      Cold water should work better than cryotherapy anyway so that is what I would recommend

    Many a moon ago I jumped off a fishing boat that was docked on peer 91 Seattle. I worked on it of course and the crew bet me a 12 pack to do it. When I hit the water there was a five-second feeling of shock literally like electricity and a brief moment where it was hard to breathe and a sudden return to normalcy relatively speaking. I thought to myself that was kind of dangerous there were blizzards in the mountains, but no snow where I was at. The deck was freezing over and that was salt water. Not sure what the temp was, but it was a unique and interesting feeling.
