just j.c I just put my rouge folding rack ,and it was a like heckled because my wall doesn’t come down all the way like yours.I have a 12 to 13 inch footing wall of concrete that I had to deal with but looking at your video with some of your advice about some screws to hold the stringers worked great, now I’m just waiting on my spotting arms ,dip arms and my three bar hold on rack,I also purchase the rouge wieght tree ,Thks bro for all your information take care.
Just.j.c i am your die heart fan❤❤❤
Just got my rack in the other day, and I gotta thank you again for the review! Great setup tips bro ‼️
Nice brotha! Glad I I could help
San Antonio shoutout! Thank you for your service, brother.
Yessir! Thank you for the support 💪🏽
Sick setup brotha! Im sold! I'll be getting one when I move into my house this summer! You've got a new subscriber! Active Duty Navy here! Soon to be retired! I love seeing fellow brothers and sisters at arms! GO HARD! 'Merica! 🇺🇸
Appreciate the support bro! 👊🏽 and enjoy retirement, I’m jealous
Omg yess Kuya!!!
My garage looks almost identical to this!
Great minds think alike!
Hello! Is there any way you could post a photo of the bar hanging accessory that you put on the side arm, and what it looks like when closed?
Hi , Nice setup. I am currently setting up the same in basement. Where did you get the mirror and what is the size? Could you please provide a link if you have?
What's colour? Satin clear or Gun metal? Please tell me.
Nice set ups❤
Gun mental! And thank you 💪🏽🙏🏼💪🏽
Hey, if anyone looking for review of this squat rack can be found ua-cam.com/video/RoAcYJsetuk/v-deo.html and in comments, you will find link for installation video which will answer all questions related to hardware and installation steps. Thanks!
Did it come with j cups?
Setup looks great! Im scared the included 3/8 lag screws will split my garage’s 2x4 studs. Did you have any issues or scares?
No issues at all! It's on there.. not going anywhere
I noticed you added some kind of support for the rack legs, probably due to a gap/space between the bottom of the rack legs and your flooring. I have the same issue here in my garage and looking for a simple solution. What did you put there and where did you get it from? Thanks in advance.
Do you ever drive your car over the mats? If so have you had any damage because of hot tires or anything like that? Appreciate the vid!
Yes! No damage.. just have to clean it up once in awhile
When you mounted the bottom stringer did you account for the 3/4" stall mat? Or did you measure from the concrete floor?
I accounted for it but missed the measurement slightly because of the slope.. but nothing some rubber blocks couldn’t fix!
It looks like you have a shim beneath one of the verticals. Assuming this is to compensate for garage slope. I just received my rack and am trying to figure out how to install it with the garage slope. Did you have to install the stringers by measuring off the ground at the higher point on the slope(right side of rack) and leveling it off from that point? So the left side the stringer would be a little higher off the ground and then use a shim?
Yes there’s a pads under it.. it was slightly off due to the slope but it’s not noticeable when racking the bar.
But yes, in short I did!
Did you have to deal with a slant in your garage? And if so how did you straighten your rack?
I did! Theres a link to the amazon rubber pads I purchased in my Rogue 10K video update.. cheap and easy fix.
Totally interested in this product but my concern is if the wall will take the load. It seems like the bottom beems sit on the floor when extended taking some tension off the wall. Did you have to reinforce the wall?
@@just.j.c Thanks
@just.j.c. Did you do anything during your install to counter the floor slope of the garage? Most garage floors have a slope running toward the door of about 1/8” per foot. That’s enough to notice I would think.
I did.. it was a fairly easy fix for mine.. got some rubber pads (same material as the stall mats) from amazon. The link is in my rogue 10K gym update video!
What do you put on the floor under the legs? I see you have something to put under the legs and I need something because my floor is uneven and one leg doesn't touch the floor properly
They’re rubber pads. You can find the link to them in my 10K gym update video or search them on Amazon. “Treadmill Pads”
Have you tried kipping pull ups and toes to bar on this rack? Do you think there is enough depth to perform these?
I have! I would go with the deeper set up tho for those brotha
Looks great man, what color finish is this?
Is that the gun metal?
Gun metal!
My garage walls are all concrete. How would you recommend I go about installing my stringers into the concrete? I'm planning on setting mine up this weekend. Thanks
Nic! I’ve seen it done 2 ways brotha..
1. Just go to your local hardware store and buy concrete anchors that would replace the wood studs/anchors from rogue.
2. Attached wood to your wall then mount to that.
@@just.j.c i think I'll go with the anchor option. I think the wood on the concrete looks tacky. Just my opinion. Thanks man!
@@TravisWebster agreed.. good luck 💪🏽
I wanted to ask with that single bar holder do you think a trap deadlifts bar from rogue can fit there?
Check out my new updated set up video and there's a link there for the one I have attached! You can even remove it and if you end up getting the weight tree or DB rack you can attach it on them.
Hey quick Q.. does the weight of the rack and barbell deload onto the floor through the posts bases at all?
Yes, I would say most of the weight is distributed to the floor from the posts. Thats how it should be if you properly install the rack!
Any issues trying to bench press with the 21.5" depth? Is it long enough?
No issues! I bench on the outside of the rack.. sorry for the late reply, it never notified me
@@just.j.c do you have any issues with doing incline bench with the shorter set-up? Thanks
Where did you get the carpet ? you have the website please ? you can drop weight on the floor ?
Got them from Tractor Supply co!
Hey man I was actually looking to get the same rack but I don’t have a concrete wall would a regular wall work and just put it in the studs, I’m just scared that it might rip out if fail a 405 squat and the. Use the spotter arms for protection
Yes, I have a regular wall myself. Just make sure you mount the the rack to the wall studs and you'll be solid! Most of the weight is distributed on the pillars/posts to the ground
Hey, man, just wanted to clarify something in case you're still making your mind up about this rack or yet to install it.
This rack will be able to handle pretty much any weight you'll throw at it as far as the wall mounting go, as long as you install it properly.
The key thing for this installation is making sure it's fastened to the wall on a stud, as just.j.c mentioned, and to make sure the front uprights rest on the ground without any weight being applied. If those front uprights are on the ground without any weight applied, all the weight on the j-cups and spotter arms will to pushed into the ground instead of pulling against the wall.
If the uprights aren't on the ground, then the rig will pull on the wall as much as it needs to to get the uprights on the ground. That's where wall damage will happen.
How high did you know to put the stringers? And did that height change when the mats came in?
Just measured from floor and took into consideration the stall mats.. it’ll tell you in the directions how hight they should be.
And it did but just enough to make it leveled.. about 1/2” but there was plenty of leeway for it from the posts/joints
Does the 21 inch length seem like enough space for muscle ups?
It's doable but I would recommend the longer 41.5" version bro!
What is that rack color? Is that the Gun Metal option rogue has?
yes sir, Gun metal
Where did you get the mirror?
Lowe’s!
Is the color gun metal?
Yes it is
hows that clock man can you adjust the circuit times?
Yes you can program it in! Sorry for the late reply, UA-cam never notified me..
Where did you get the Orange Pins for this and your Matador set up? Would you be able to link it, I got the Orange Ohio Bar but no idea where those pins are from. @just.j.c
Hey brotha, so they come with the matador itself.. just about any attachment that requires the safety pins will come with them..
and congrats on the OHB! hopefully you like it..
@@just.j.c do they come with the Orange one? I ordered a 490c rig but haven’t gotten it yet trying to do a black and orange theme so I saw your pins were orange and wanted to get more lol
@@Everydaymoves They won’t come with the OHB and your rack will come with different mounts.. but when you get a attachment like the matador, safety spotter arms, mono lift then those will come with the orange pins 💪🏽
How strong do the mats smell?
Don’t smell at all now... they kept them outside when I bought so they only carried a smell for the first couple days or so
@@just.j.c good to hear
Who makes the Mats?
Got them from Tractor supply co but looks like their the same mats from other sellers.. not sure the manufacturer
can you do pull-ups on this?
absolutely!
I’m only doing a small area not as nice as your
