That man just shared possibly the best bit of training knowledge. When the movementbis stale and you are just chasing the same numbers, change the exercise!!! Worth bits weight in GOLD. Thanks a million.
Coop going to Eleiko in Sweden is like every kid in the world going to Disneyland. It is pretty amazing that a big proportion of the equipment in this garage gym is stuff that 'doesn't exist' or 'never made it to production' and it is still 10 out of 10 for a home gym....
Thanks Coop. Thanks Oscar. That was most enjoyable and one of the best gym tours I’ve seen - two very knowledgeable enthusiasts having a great conversation. Lots to like about the set up of course but sure glad I don’t have that gap on my bench. Keep up the good work.
The quality of stainless steel is not determined if it is magnetic or not. Whether or not a stainless steel is magnetic is due to the type of stainless, the stainless mentioned in this video is an austenitic stainless (300 series) there are martensitic stainless steels (400 series) that are magnetic. The carbon content has nothing to do with a steel’s magnetic properties, it is the solid phase.
Do they use that other type of stainless for this purpose though? Maybe that's what he meant. I don't know much about metallurgy but I know enough about prices of metals to know that purity and quality lend to higher cost
Resistance to corrosion is also not necessarily an indication of quality. Every steel alloy has an appropriate application somewhere, and an alloy that rusts in home gym use is more an implication that the designer spec’d the wrong alloy for the bar. Admittedly there are low-end brands that will tout “stainless” and just bought the cheapest bar stock they could find.
Eleiko’s products are so nice. If they ever come out with a combo lat pull-down low row that you can connect to the pressers rack I’m pulling the trigger.
Living in the Midwest here in the US, i completely understand the regret of wanting to touch the barbell during winter. I got the barbell warmer sleeve from PRx performance and it’s worked wonders on plenty of negative degree nights.
Oscar home gym in Sweden look amazing this is the type i would want to have when i go overseas in the future. i took notes on the gym equipment and good video coop keep up the good content
Loved the video. It's so interesting seeing how different each gym is. This one comes off so simple but everything in there is quality. Also wondering if the heaters aren't strong enough because of all the weights absorbing some of the heat before it gets a chance to get to him.
So nice to see some European setups. I’d love to see GGR review some UK based companies or equipment. Like mirafit, strength shop, primal strength, ATX 😊
Oscar's got the bluest eyes I've seen in years. Anyway, love the gym. I really like Eleiko's barbells, but I am not sold on their combo racks (specifically the benches). I hope the new pad is better than the one used previously, because that was... well, I can't say "awful", but really not great.
7:09 magnets dont stick to carbon, its wouldnt stick even if it had a lot of carbon in it. it will actually stick less but magnets also don't stick to nickle and this stainless steal is likely high in nickle and other things non magnetic making the stainless non magnetic they are called Austenitic stainless steels. thanks for reading, i hope you enjoy metals as much as i do BYE!
In a nutshell, austenitic stainless steels are a type of stainless steel known for their corrosion resistance, high ductility, and non-magnetic properties. They contain significant amounts of chromium and nickel, forming an austenitic crystalline structure at room temperature. The non-magnetic characteristic of austenitic stainless steels is primarily due to their specific crystalline structure. While other types of stainless steels can be magnetic, the arrangement of atoms in austenitic stainless steels, especially in the presence of nickel, makes them predominantly non-magnetic in their annealed (heat-treated) condition. This non-magnetic property is beneficial in applications where magnetic materials are undesirable, such as certain electronic and medical devices. -chat gpt :D because i don't actually know what I'm talking about :D
My rouge Ohio boneyard bar I bought new from rough has rust all over the knerling after only a month any reason why? It’s been in my garage the whole time
Could be the humidity in the garage try wd40 to remove the corrosion and if u have a dehumidifier try that and see if it helps.i uses fat gripz to cover my bar that seems to help
Beautiful gym and very nice video. However, what was mentioned about the properties of steel was incorrect and shows a lack of understanding of basic material physics. Please avoid getting into details you do not know.
Love the equipment, but was saddened by that gap in the bench. I was a fitness director and bought and sold equipment. When setting up a new gum we specifically sourced "Atlantis Strength" benches as they were - at the time - the only ones that closed that gap.
You have a nose for sniffing out equipment that is contrary to the brand the owner represents. You did it with the PRX guy; now you are doing it with the Eleiko manager.
The video didn't mention this, but Oscar is also a Team Sweden head coach in the IPF.
@covidcarl7480 Just watch the video from the beginning, he’s product manager at Eleiko.
@covidcarl7480he works at eleiko he said that in the beginning
@covidcarl7480 lol no, its his own free stuff. His wife has been training in that garage gym for years.
I was thinking where I had seen him before this loll
So a little bit more than a barbell nerd.
These home gym tours/collaborations are awesome. Thanks so much for sharing.
YES THEY ARE
That man just shared possibly the best bit of training knowledge. When the movementbis stale and you are just chasing the same numbers, change the exercise!!! Worth bits weight in GOLD. Thanks a million.
Yeah that was pure gold.
Good advice for getting old. Do something you didn't peak at in your prime haha.
I like the nordic humor:
Do you see those heater, behind the rack?!
Yeah.
Yeah.... they do nothing

He seems like the nicest guy. Also very well spoke and knowlegable.
Love the spacing and how clean it is. Very minimalist vibe to it
Love these gym walkthroughs, especially from people in the business of making equipment; it's so interesting.
Amazing to see Oscar's home gym - thanks for bringing it to the channel Coop. Oscar is a long time friend and an overall awesome guy
His honesty about Rogue and Kabuki was awesome to see. I didn't know you could even say Kabuki in Sweden. 😂
Thanks Coop. Thanks Oscar. That was most enjoyable and one of the best gym tours I’ve seen - two very knowledgeable enthusiasts having a great conversation. Lots to like about the set up of course but sure glad I don’t have that gap on my bench. Keep up the good work.

The stainless looses it's magnetism because of the nickle content
This guy stainlesses
Does this guy know how to party or what
Oscar is a solid dude
Oscar also happens to be one of the nicest guys ever! Great video!
Eleiko’s products are so nice. If they ever come out with a combo lat pull-down low row that you can connect to the pressers rack I’m pulling the trigger.
Great video, looks like the ideal home gym to me. The Eleiko bench is awesome, light but absolutely rock solid, good handle position, not too low.
The cleanness of this dude's gym is amazing. You could basically do anything in it but it looks almost empty.
Good to see you Oscar, long time ago, again. Great home gym, a bit jealous but quite happy with my studio, thanks for helping out regarding that :)
this was awesome 👏🏻 so fun to see his home gym
Coop is so insanely good at this job. He knows the equipment inside and out.
Oscar seems like a good dude. Nice gym.
Christmas is finally over! Which means I can stop asking others for gym equipment and start just buying it for myself.
I really enjoy geeking out on equipment and gear.
gosh darn this was just so good.
Nice to watch a garage gym clip from my home country, even though I have lived in Thailand for twenty years.
Bill Heniger will smile if he watches this and sees a Rogue curl bar over there in sweden. :)
Loved the video. It's so interesting seeing how different each gym is. This one comes off so simple but everything in there is quality. Also wondering if the heaters aren't strong enough because of all the weights absorbing some of the heat before it gets a chance to get to him.
STARS AND BARS BABY! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
They can’t come quick enough, loving it thank-you…NZ
So nice to see some European setups. I’d love to see GGR review some UK based companies or equipment. Like mirafit, strength shop, primal strength, ATX 😊
Oscar just seems like the coolest guy.
That was a blast. Thank you !
MORE OF THESE, COOP! GREAT CONTENT 🔥💪🏻
Eleiko is the best you can get. ❤
Excellent content as always. Keep it coming!
This makes me feel fiscally prudent about spending *only* $13k Canadian on my "budget gym."
I only spent 2k CAD on mine. Ironmaster bench, powerblock adjustable dumbbell, and spin bike. I really don’t know how to lift barbells. 😂
@@jono601 you dont need to. Whatever works for you works man
@@jono601Good choices. You'll get there.
This stuff is probably around 40-50k usd. Buying a house soon and I dread for the day placing my order
What a really nice guy!!
Oscar looking dreamy as hell bro.
Love the home gym visits. 🏋️♀️
A smith machine attachment that is compatible with the rep racks and the Athena would be incredible!
Heja Sverige🇸🇪💪
I wish I had a home gym. Oscars gym looks incredible
The swedes makes awesome steel 👍🏻
@20:40, maybe if your skin freezes to the bar you can use a less aggressive knurl?
We need reviews on all the new rep gear! I'd love to see a review on the Arcadia Functional Trainer.
I don’t lift but I love these videos
More please! 👏🏼
I love that combo rack, and i don;t even powerlift
6000W Heaters or more for Canadian winter garage gyms!
Sickkkkkkk! Love these mannnnnnn
I like the Finnish flag. And Swedish, too. Based.
…glad I saw this…wish I could afford ELEIKO…
Hey Coop could you review Bolt Fitness single stack columns? Or could you review Bolt fitness equipment in general?
Happy to see that Swedish flag :P Fun gym tour!
Oscar is a bro.
That new pad is gonna add more kilos to Caycos bench if they use it at Sheffield
Very cool video
Oscar's got the bluest eyes I've seen in years.

someone had to say it, DANG THEM EYES!
When will Eleiko make a bench with moving scapula support for seated OH press?
this guy rocks

REP wall mounted Athena review coming?
Neat .

Lowkey, these Eleiko videos are turning me into a fan of this channel.
Riktigt sköna bänkar 09:40! Men skruvarna lossnar lätt, får dra åt dem ofta.
Coop what are your thoughts on the SAVAGE SERIES FUNCTIONAL TRAINER POWER RACK COMBO by fray fitness
The only way, other than having gobs of money, to own an all Eleiko home gym- be Eleiko Product Manager.
what a dream to have all Eleiko equipment at home much less go to a gym that uses their stuff
Eleiko doesn’t list the price of any of their machines. That’s how you know they’re expensive.
Cool guy cool gym😊👌
Love it
Why does high quality stainless not have a lot of carbon in it?
What’s that bench squat combo cost?
@Oscar can you tell us the sqm of your garage please
Anybody know what watch Oscar is wearing?
Very cool
Pretty sure that unmarked fatgrip dumbbell he found is from Watson!
hello can anyone please tell me what powerlifting carpet that is pls
Beautiful gym and very nice video. However, what was mentioned about the properties of steel was incorrect and shows a lack of understanding of basic material physics. Please avoid getting into details you do not know.
You're getting bigger Coop
He said stars and bars😂
How much a gym like this costs ?
Love the equipment, but was saddened by that gap in the bench. I was a fitness director and bought and sold equipment. When setting up a new gum we specifically sourced "Atlantis Strength" benches as they were - at the time - the only ones that closed that gap.
Did he level the platform since it’s perpendicular to typical garage slope ?
52,5 kg... How is this guy not bigger? O_o
Anyone know what kind of pants Oscar is wearing? I want a pair lol
I need one barbell and 2 dumbbells to build muscles
Is Oscar born in Finland?
Siiiiiick gym
You should try to tour a college/nfl weightroom
Bummed I don't get to follow Oscar
Stars and Bars was the Confederate flag. The side that won the war flew the Stars and Stripes.
Hi
what is he talking about "risk for exhaustion"?
Wait 5C is only 41 F, thats not that bad lol. 😂
You have a nose for sniffing out equipment that is contrary to the brand the owner represents. You did it with the PRX guy; now you are doing it with the Eleiko manager.
Very nice guy. He probably had nothing to do with their f up on the heavy mug failure
Well isn’t the mug considered free weight? 😋
lol at 5 degrees C being cold. It's below 0 degrees F in my gym every winter
