@@susanbarnhart7310 The summary of Ellen G. Whites *"Great Controversy"* argument is thus concerning the Apostasy of the Apostolic Church from her book, in chapter 3. 1. The Apostle Paul and John warned that the Apostasy of the Church Christ instituted. And, that the apostasy of the Church was going to happen and was already happening in 53AD and by 90AD, the Apostle John was already commanding people to *"Come out the Church Christ instituted upon the Apostles, the prophets and Christ being the chief cornerstone.* Thus, the "HER" and Harlot of Revelation 18 to EGW and Adventism is the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and the *book of Revelation is begging all the Christians to leave the Church Christ died for and John, Paul and all the Apostles labored to bring into the "ONE Faith", ONE Body, the ONE Church to an end regardless of Christ"s promise to never leave it or the gates of hell prevail over it. * 2. The falling away, was NOT those who left the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. *but THOSE WHO REMAINED WITH the Apostolic Church* Christ instituted was "falling away" . And, ONLY those who would LEAVE the Church (the use of Rev. 18:4 by the SDA) would be saved, while those who followed in obedience to the Church would be lost. 3. The falling away in her mind described in 2Thess. 2:4 *was caused by the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church abandoning the enforcement of the Sabbath commandment upon the Gentiles.* and that every Christian must become Jewish first, before claiming to be Christian and the claim of Cephas to be Pope. 4. EGW and the SDA claim was that faith through Grace in Christ and the Holy Spirit and the fruits of the Holy Spirit was and is not sufficient to keep a person from murdering or stealing..etc., thus the spirit of lawlessness. And, that ONLY by the LAW of 10 commandments could keep people from sinning, NOT by the Holy Spirit. 5. She also claimed that suddenly somewhere long before 325AD, the Catholic Church decided to have a Pope, who was the Vicar of Christ and no one in the entire known world protested. This was *"already occurring"* in 53AD when the Apostle Paul wrote 2Thessalonians 2 while at the same time the Apostle Paul as calling the Peter, "Cephas" meaning Rock. And, prior to that Christ named Him "Rock" from the moment Christ called him and so did every other Apostle who spoke the Aramaic language, as Christ and most of Judea at the time. Only those who DISOBEYED the Church could be saved in EGW's teaching. 6. She then claimed by the time of Constantine, the entire known world of Christianity had fallen away "to join forces with the Pope" and that was "The Great Falling Away" prophecied in 2Thess. 2:4 in 325AD. Yet, not one voice protested anywhere in the entire known world of Christianity. 7. For Ellen G. White, persecution and martyrdom of the Church was a good thing and the church living in peaceful times was deplorable. She would have much preferred that the torture of the Christians continued than have peace. 8. In the end, Ellen G. White and the Adventist church teaches the Papacy didn't begin until 538AD according to their 1260 day prophecy, but that conflicts directly with their own writings which say the Papacy was already ruling in 325AD, which is 217 years or more difference. Ellen G. White writes explicitly in Chapter 3 of the book Great Controversy, speaking of the time of Constantine in 325AD less than 200 years after Christ: *"THE GREAT APOSTATE HAD SUCCEEDED in exalting himself “above all that is called God, or that is worshiped.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4. He (the Pope) had dared to change the only precept of the divine law that unmistakably points all mankind to the true and living God.* (Great Controversy Chapter 3. …. "No such honor was given to the day by Christ or His apostles. *The observance of Sunday as a Christian institution had its origin in that “mystery of lawlessness”* (2 Thessalonians 2:7, R.V.) which, *EVEN in Paul’s day, had begun its work.* Chapter 3 of Great Controversy. Yet, there is no record of any "Controversy" about a change from the Sabbath to Sunday in the records of Church history. 9. Lastly, EGW's and the Adventist's point is that Christ ( *God himself in the flesh* ) could *NOT* and did not *"Point mankind to the true and Living God"* And, that only by Sabbath keeping could they come to know God, period.
Thank you for this. We left the Adventist church about two months ago. We had been Adventist for the last 7 years. We had been questioning the church and the lack of love and the legalism. The Adventist church is very very judgmental. We are now attending a Sunday church. There is so much love and laughter and smiles. We feel the love of Christ in our new church. We are on fire for our Lord again. We found the Adventist church was very legalistic and there was no love in the church. Many church goers would go home after church shut off their phone and shut the world out, that is not what Jesus wanted. Jesus healed on the sabbath. My husband and I got Covid when it first came out and we were the first in our church who got it. The church was praying for our sins and implied our sins gave us Covid. I had a big problem with Ellen White being preached in the pulpit. I want to hear the Bible and the Bible only. I could go on and on but it would be a book. So blessed God opened our eyes.
@@peppernbo Matthew 7:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV) “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
Colleen and her husband Richard Tinker lead their own CULT after founding Former Adventist Fellowship, a radical group that meets often to smear Adventism, flaunt their rebellion by eating pork, burn Ellen White's books in an outdoor firepit at their home, and the Tinkers publish a weekly newsletter called Proclamation, ranting hatred and false claims about EGW and Adventism doctrines. They are HYPOCRITES. Of course they also have their carefully crafted backstory, whining about how they SUFFERED in the "doom and gloom" in the Adventist Church. But they don't tell you that the denomination FIRED them both for very serious trouble they caused. They are PAID by Richard's cousin Dale Ratzlaff, a chronically confused former SDA pastor who makes a living lying in books and videos about Adventists. Their CULT is a disgrace because they CELEBRATE when another Adventist leaves the SDA Church.
Thanks for all the good info, I thought it was settled after Dr. Martin’s work, but was wrong. The John Ankerburg program was helpful and all the info about Walter Martin, one of my original inspirations. He seems to have been forgotten to some extent. God bless
It is strange that I was born in a traditional church and discovered all the blessings of having met Jesus Christ in my life in the Adventist church and you treat with such indifference and relaxation the fact that people can have an experience real here. You laugh at concepts like covenant and make claims like Adventists would not study God's Word. The problem I see is that you are trying to express your own delusions and place unwarranted blame on a church that treats God's Word responsibly and provides an integrated explanation of each of the concepts the Bible presents to us at every turn . As you well know even in the concepts revealed by the Bible there is an evolution of revelation. This does not make it uninspired or questionable. I have never met a church that so completely explains aspects found throughout the Bible and harmonizes them so clearly and balanced making a complete transition from the Old Testament to the New Testament. I know that this comment will receive a lot of criticism, but the fact that in other churches such complete concepts as the Sanctuary are not explained and the fact that they are viewed with disinterest does not give anyone the right to consider us apostasy and to say that we do not study the Bible. There is a lot of malice in this podcast and as a practicing Adventist I found no solid arguments in this discussion just enough reasons to understand the shallowness of this discussion.
Excellent series exposing Adventism! As a former Adventist, I can attest that Nikki and Colleen are right on the money with their understanding and explanation of the error it teaches.
I am so grateful to God that he opened our eyes! I was with sda only for a few months but I was so much dragged in and completely blind. Defending their doctrins as my own but never getting to know God personally. I was so fanatical that hard to believe that now. Were you the same?
@@liepa7768 Being fanatical is being a good Adventist and loving God in the Adventist world. Happy you escaped. Almost no one ever escape. Very few Adventists become Christians. 300,000 at least, leave the Adventist organization every year. Almost every one becomes agnostic. Adventist pope Ellen White pontificated anyone leaving the Adventism slams shut the door of salvation upon themselves. Adventists have a ministry of sending people to eternal hell.
Incredible video and SO TRUE!!! My family is still very active in SDAism!!! I left that cult when I was 15 and now I’m 53 and so thankful the Lord pulled me out!!! After I was born again years ago…. I tried to tell them!! I still try and talk my family into leaving, but they’re so deeply rooted in it!! I’ll continue to pray they wake up and leave!!
My father and brother are still heavily involved in SDA-ism. I am still told I will be in hell for not keeping the sabbath. (whatever their version of hell is), but I keep re-iterating the gospel of salvation by grace through faith. They have not heard this gospel from their pulpits, it has been replaced with the '3 angels' messages' - the best I can do is pray their hearts are open to the pleadings of hte Spirit of God and that in the right time they will receive the gospel.
I joined the sda church at around 15. I am 53 now and I am still a Adventist. The reverse of your experience. Do know what is a CULT or the Meaning of the word CULT. Are you a CULT EXPERT ? Dr Walter Martin was.even wrote a book and said that the SDA CHURCH is not a CULT.
@@c19rebelmax52 good for you!! I’m not going to argue with you and your snarky tone! I’m a former 4th generation Adventist so I can say what I want! So what’s your point?? You sound like a nasty condescending Adventist!! Typical!!! If it’s not a cult in your opinion then why get so defensive? Just continue on your way! Those of us who left know exactly what happened and why Dr. Martin said what he said! If you think what I said is harsh go and research what others are saying…. Sorry you’re so offended, but that’s what that “cult” does to people!!! Now go be nasty elsewhere!
For me it was the book Prophetess of Health. I read that and it exposed so much that I began to dig deeper by researching everything I could find on the movement. Then I read the New Testament with no filters, I told the Lord, I just want to know the truth, please help me to understand. If things are different from what I previously believed, as difficult as it is to accept, I will choose the word of God over all else. Then the rest is history, when I finished reading the New Testament I became a born again Christian, praise Jesus! I also took some test online that I could never find again. It compared facts like where was Adam when Eve ate the fruit to what the Bible says. I knew that I was well versed in the Bible so when I took the quiz and failed every single question because I believed what Ellen said over the word of God, I was a almost panicked and on the verge of tears. The biblical answers that were presented where literally in my face and I could no longer deny that something was incredibly wrong with what I believed growing up. It’s been 9 years since I learned the truth and I’m grateful to God every day that I am saved by grace and can look forward to eternity with Him! If anyone knows where to find that test please tell me! I’ve looked and look and cannot locate it!
It is both sad and humorous that everything these wonderful ladies are saying hits home with me 100%. I also had not idea about Walter Rae, Dale Ratzlaff, Walter Martin, John Ankerberg, until I left Adventism. In a way that is a great testimony that I was not 'deceived' into leaving, but studied my way out and LATER I found these helpful ministries. I had heard the term 'the Ford Controversy' but only in the context of him being a heretic from their perspective, But I ahd no idea why or who Ford was. I also remember shortly before I left Adventism. I was asked to help make a few new members comfortable and I was asked 'not to talk about Ellen White' because they did not want to 'scare them away'. I was told it is better to let them get comfortable with these surface level things and that Ellen White was too much of a red flag to wave until they got settled in and comfortable. Needless to say I called the Northern California Conference where I was a member at that time and had my name specifically removed from membership in the 'church'
Troy, Praise God for unveiling your eyes. I studied my way out too...still waiting for my unmembership confirmation that was 3 years ago lol dont think its coming..thank you for sharing your testimony
@Spirit of Lies you are only responsible to tell the story of salvation- it’s up to the hearer to choose and act. Same with apologetics- you can only speak the true and accurate facts supported by scripture, and then it’s up to the heretic to make the adjustment to sound doctrine. Instead of thinking of yourself as a sucker drawn into the Adventist crazy circus of linguistic gymnastics, excuses, deflection, obfuscation, and out right lies; think of yourself as a real man who took the time and energy to care enough to speak truth. Who knows; maybe 4 years from now an exasperated Adventist may be enlightened by your post. Much respect. Peace.
I am Adventist and I have been trying to raise conversations regarding the problems you have discussed. I can tell you with confidence, if you raise a question, you are treated as a heretic.
The great thing is, if you leave that false church and join a solid biblical church, God will use you to reach many of those in your past life as an Adventist. Social media certainly goes a long way. Adventism cannot be compromised with. It’s whole system relies on a totally false hermeneutic of the biblical text. It cannot be restored. It cannot be made to “seem” more evangelical. You cannot “unhitch” Ellen G White from Adventism. And you cannot come into a congregation of Adventist elders and “raise” questions and try to get them to speak on these matters. These things are specifically avoided at all costs for the sake of “unity” lest there be a “divisive spirit” that causes seeds of doubt. Yet we know as a matter of RECENT historical record that Adventist history is one huge cover up and was never a biblical movement. Ellen denied that there was a preserved historical church. She literally brushed off millennia of Christian history and made herself the “restoring prophet” of the gospel. No coincidence it was all within a few decades of the founder of Mormonism and the prophet of the Jehovahs witnesses.
That’s a strong accusation. Raise a question to who, when and where? What did you mean you were treated like a heretic? Were you burned at the stake? That’s the treatment of heretics one church had. If you raise a question then people answer that question, I mean what do you want? Only capitulation?
Dr G doesn't have a clue what he's talking about....he's going to make claims without any form of justification through sources to back anything up, just wait and see
@@dr.g1482anybody who has had questions knows exactly what he is talking about. Immediately you are treated as an apostate with evil intentions to spread lies. Shunning, sideways suspicious looks, and backbiting immediately starts to happen. Been there done that. Finally left. Praise God.
Thank you so much for the time you put into these episodes. I have a friend in her 60s who was going to our church and then found the SDA church and decided they made more sense to her. I have the Kingdom of the Cults and read the section on SDA but with my job and family responsibilities I haven't had time for a deep dive into Ellen White and the SDA, etc so I had basically put "calling them out" to her on hold. This answered so many of my questions and I now have a stronger understanding to base my conversation on when talking with her about her church. I pray the Holy Spirit will soften her heart and open her mind when I do. 🙏🙏
It would be better if the Holy Spirit were soften _Your_ heart. Did you ever consider that if your prayer were heeded, she would become an even stronger Adventist? Why don't you just pray sincerely for her that she becomes closer to God? If you do, she will become even closer and more entrenched in Seventh Day Adventist truth.
@Joel Villarreal You apparently do not know what a false prophet is. Ellen White Always said that she was a "lesser light" than the Bible. Thus, you bear false witness, just as the accuser of the brethren will do until the end of time: Rev 12:17.
@Joel Villarreal You have serious reading comprehension problems. Ellen White was also a teacher, an author and she preached. She helped set up sanitariums, founded a newsletter and assisted in helping slaves, education and helping others. It's hard to capture all that she did as a servant of Christ. Should make you feel embarrassed that you are attacking the good name of other Christians. SO yeah, her work did Comprehend MUCH MORE than the word "Prophet" signifies. You really ought to find a new profession, as reading and research ain't it.
@joel villarreal You're hilarious. The BIBLE itself says that Prophecy is a gift. It has never been denounced - except amongst people who don't read their Bibles. There is no "vow", other than believing that the Bible's own testimony on the prophetic gift is true. In other words, we believe the Bible.
@joel villarreal Go back and re-read what I said - yes, and you can copy and paste my words here. You won't find that I said that. Like I said. You have serious reading comprehension issues.
Did they ever notice the title of the book is "Hebrews"?? Notice it doesn't say "Gentiles". People, please read the Bible for yourself (KJ) and rightly divide the word of truth (2 Tim.2:15). The Gospel is found in *1 Cor.15:1-4*
But, does that mean there's nothing for Gentiles in Hebrews? BTW that reasoning, the sermon in the mount was delivered to Jews, so is that only for Jews? You should understand the intended audience to properly understand passages and books of the Bible, but if you use the hermeneutics suggested, does that mean Gentiles should only read the Epistles?
After getting away from SDA and receiving the good news people still in the church who knew me before would tell me, "There's something about you. But remember the law!" I didn't understand what "Remember the law" meant until this podcast. You have freed me from a cultish ideal born of legalism. Why would someone spit into Christ's face by negating His precious gift?
Christ was the most non religious person to ever tried tarra firma. What is the point you're trying to make because I don't have time to argue with a troll.
I had to leave all them churches alone and open my Bible and study for myself my walk became very personal and these churches jus ain't doin it for me I'd rather watch UA-cam videos than to attend someone's church on a regular now don't get me wrong I will go to church but I'm not bouta join or dedicate myself to none of em I'm dedicated to Jesus and it jus seems to me like He ain't in these churches I find more Jesus in the trenches 🤷🏿♀️
Hebrews 10:45 do not forsake the gathering. I know what you mean, but if you can remind yourself we're all sinners saved by grace gathering together to worship a Holy God as one in unity, it helps alot. It's good to gather together ❤️
Hey Ray…. Did you see the defensive reply to my comment? Lol…..you’ll get a kick out of that one….he’s mad bc I see SDA as a cult!!! They’re so touchy! 😂
@@ArmyMomMarineDaughter I didn’t see the comment yet. I was raised in Adventism and after I was born again I did a 4 year 24:7 street evangelism ministry in which we actively searched for and found religious cult members, and witnessed Jesus to them. Very few successful converts to Christianity. Extremely frustrating. By experience and the accepted and documented criteria for what a religious cult is, Adventists are absolutely a cult. Adventists run around with their hair on fire very afraid of anyone defining them as a cult. Good for you. Say it boldly and often. The Adventist demonic cult has been hiding in plain sight. It’s time to destroy the abomination.
Wow, so amazing. I love hearing stories from people that have escaped a religion that they were in prison to all of their lives and thinking they were living and knowing the truth. It's beautiful and it is a wonderful lesson for me to not take being a Christian all of my life for granted. My heart goes out to everyone that leaves a lie that they have been living, to take that leap of faith at any cost and are now knowing the truth. God Bless!

Hi, I'm an adventist and please let me write down my comments about 17:30: Hebrews 1:1-2 mentioned Jesus as the living word (as stated by John 1) However the text doesn’t say no prophets will appear after Jesus, sorry. Otherwise why Jesus would alert us about false prophets in Matthew 24:24 ? “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” wouldn’t true prophets be around as well ? How about I Cor 13:2 “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” The real issue is how to test real prophets, which is answered in Isaiah 8:20: “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” In order to be more organised I'll be putting more comments per topic below, so please do not consider as a spam.
👇It's simple, scripture says it in CLEAR CUT words... No need for all this assumptions and interpretations.....JUST STRAIGHT FROM SCRIPTURE. THE SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD...."is NOT the fourth commandment but the holy Spirit BIBLE: HOLY SPIRIT "You were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit" (Ephesians 1:13). BIBLE: HOLY SPIRIT "Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption" (Ephesians 4:30).
Galatians 5: Life by the Spirit 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. 16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Sin in a believer’s life The Bible teaches that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). This is why all of us need the only Saviour Lord Jesus Christ. However we do not stop sinning automatically when we get saved (1 John 2:1). As the apostle Paul wrote, we continue to live in a fallen world and we indwell a fallen mortal body afflicted by sin and corruption. There is a constant battle raging within the believer - a war between sin and the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:17). Paul refers to the sinful fleshly nature as the old man who is crucified with Christ (Romans 6:6) when we believe and are born again. However even though we are no longer under the influence of sin, we still have to contend with it. This is the race the God asks us to run faithfully, to not walk in the flesh but in the Spirit (1 Corinthians 9:24). So when we sin, it does not mean that we are not saved - it is only the reality of a regenerated spirit having to deal with the body of sin. What about habitual sins such as adultery or addictions? The important principle to understand is that a believer will not be happy or content to continue sinning. Rather he or she will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit who convicts them of their sin and will earnestly desire freedom and liberation from that particular sin. The Bible does not require that we not sin in order to ‘maintain’ our salvation - this is the false doctrine of works where salvation is merited by a person’s good works and therefore demands continuation in a sinless state. Salvation is a free gift that is not earned but given by the grace of God and received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). If we did not earn it, we cannot lose it by something we do or did not do. We cannot lose our salvation - our salvation is eternally secure (this is the doctrine of eternal security). If a person does not come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and does not desire to stop sinning, the presence of the Holy Spirit is missing and such a person is not saved. At 1:01:38 "90% of those who leave Adventism becomes agnostic or atheist". Where do those go that leave other denominations? Where do Methodists go when they leave the Methodist church? Where do Presbyterians go when they leave the Presbytarian church?
Some go to other denominations or simply nonactive. The issue with senenth day adventism is that they believe they are the only true church on Earth and that no other is right so they are inoculated against attending any other Church even sabbatarian ones. This is not unlike the Jehovah's Witnesses for example who do not then join Christian churches they either become agnostic or atheist because they stopped believing all together or they're simply too afraid to go into any other Church to explore and find the gospel

The way that you can tell a cult from Christian is simply their authority. Is their authority the bible alone to understand scripture? If their authority is church first, then they are Catholic/Eastern Orthodox etc. If their authority is a theologian such as John Calvin/Augustine, then they are Calvinist. If their authority is the watchtower, then they are JW. etc etc.

I really enjoy listening to stuff like this and listened religiously with an open mind to all 4 episodes in this series. I regularly listen to the fair game podcast and I notice one major difference between the SDA church and cults. As an SDA I am able to communicate with all family and friends who are former SDA’s. I am in no way disconnected or punished by my church for having contact with disfellowshipped members. That to me is a major difference. It makes me sad that so much energy is being spent by this ministry to pull people away from the church. Maybe I am different in my beliefs but I have a healthy respect for everyone and their religious choices. I have friends who are baptist, Mormon, JW, agnostic, etc. I respect their decision and perspective without trying to tell them how wrong they are and how they should be SDA. That is not my view of the Bible and Jesus’ love. I felt like this series tried to stereotype all SDA’s into one way of thinking. Do I know SDA’s like the ones they described? Of course and it made me chuckle a little because we all do but I think their perspective was a bit extreme. I asked several friends if they ever remember doing an end of time drill when we were younger and none of us remember doing any of that. I think their example they used there was one of the more extreme examples. I definitely remember some intense evangelistic series but nothing like what they used as examples. I mean, even within our own church there are members that don’t agree with everything that Ted Wilson or Jack Blanco write and say. Putting all SDA’s into a box is not a realistic view of the church as it exists today. I have lived in both Loma Linda and Collegedale and know there is a vast difference between the churches there. That is part of the appeal of these Adventist communities. There is something for everyone in each one. Sorry for rambling but I just felt like the whole series was put on by people that may have had a negative experience in the church or school system and were hurt somewhere along the way so their perspective felt completely biased. I would have appreciated hearing the perspective of a current Adventist talk about what they like or appreciate about the church and their positive experience. I know my experience has been positive but I understand and respect those that have not had that experience.
I don’t agree with you. If you believe that Mormons and JWs have a “workable” gospel which can save them, that says more about you than anything. Examine your beliefs. The gospel is narrow. False religion is wide and across the spectrum.
Hey Brad... Fellow Adventist here. I do agree that there are many preachers who don't preach what was said by these ladies, but like Jeff Durbin says that he doesn't have to agree with John Calvin on everything can we say that about EGW? Can you really believe in the Investigative Judgement? In light of Jude 9 can you really believe Jesus is Michael the archangel? If you don't are you still an Adventist in good standing?
@@mathewalby I’m not a SDA person, but I want to Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy. It’s a shame that there isn’t a Church for me or others like me to attend. I just want to walk in truth and honor God’s commandments. It’s just a simple concept to me. How can twisting the last day of the week (Sabbath on Saturday to Sabbath on Sunday) be what God had in mind to ‘keeping it Holy?’
If it’s your desire to just meet up with a group of people and do whatever is Cozy and comfortable instead of ‘walking in the Truth of God’s Word’, why do you even bother to pretend to go to Church. It’s not about us! It’s about OBEDIENCE to a Holy God!
I believe this channel is Calvinist, and that would explain the generalization. The women in particular are simply antiSDA. That's literally their ministry. So that tells you where their heart is.

I pray you come to actually know Christ. Read your NASB, KJV, NKJV, or ESV Bible with a blank slate and see if SDA even makes sense. The fact is…every cult would fall apart if people just read their Bible. I am an Adventist Pastor and I don't recognise most of what you are saying as Adventism. By the way righteousness by faith is a mainstay of Adventism as opposed to righteousness by works. This episode has grossly mischaracterised Adventism. I must say that, I find your experts out of their depth in Adventist Theology.
Righteousness by faith is lip service in Adventism, but in actuality it is Sabbath Keeping that matters. Adventists have no confidence in salvation as taught by their false prophet and false teacher: “Those who accept the Saviour, however sincere their conversion, should *never be taught to say or to feel that they are saved.”* White, Ellen. Christ's Object Lessons. Michigan: Review and Herald Publishing, 1908, p. 155 There is no known salvation in Adventism because in Adventism, everyone is awaiting the outcome of the Investigative Judgement, by Levitical Priest Investigative Judgemetn Jesus, which is no Christ: “As the books of record are opened in the judgment, the lives of all who have believed on Jesus come in review before God. Beginning with those who first lived upon the earth, our Advocate presents the cases of each successive generation, and closes with the living. Every name is mentioned, every case closely investigated. Names are accepted, names rejected. When any have sins remaining upon the books of record, unrepented of and unforgiven, their names will be blotted out of the book of life, and the record of their good deeds will be erased from the book of God's remembrance.” White, Ellen. The Great Controversy. Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1888, p. 483 Adventism is simply not Christian.
Righteousness by faith ≠ justification by faith. The investigative judgement is also incompatible with justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to the scriptures alone and to the glory of God alone. You know, the fundamentals of the protestant Christian faith.
1:17:28 The Lord has its own ways to drive us through Him. @@Stefan-X24 Then why is the Sabbath seen as the most important commandment? Ellen White claimed that the fourth commandment even had a halo around it in heaven.
@@mikkellowe1270 Maybe because that's the one that gets trampled on by Christians the most. Let's be honest, some Church Fathers taught Sunday is holy, they taught and treated Sunday as a Sabbath, with all the solemnity it deserves. Majority of the Reformers did the same, yet, today we're told it's just another day. Answer me this, when did the solemnity of God's day expire? Are you keeping Sunday as a Sabbath?
@@Stefan-X24 It expired at the death and resurrection of Jesus. The Sabbath, and all the old testament laws, was a shadow of Jesus which was to come. Jesus is our Sabbath rest. Those who trust in Jesus and are born again are in a perpetual "Sabbath rest". Jesus said, "...come to me and I WILL GIVE YOU REST". Christ fulfilled ALL the laws and requirements of the covenant laws and for those of us who believe and trust in Him, God has laid Jesus' righteousness on us, seeing us as perfectly keeping all of the law. It's basic Christianity 101. Ellen G. White was a liar, deceiver and egotistical heretic. I reject EVERYTHING she ever said, just as I reject Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russell, Mary Baker Eddy and every other supposed prophet or spokesperson for God that claims new revelation or a "better understanding" of God's word.
@@Stefan-X24 The Sabbath is a type of Christ, or to quote Paul directly, "a mere shadow of things to come." It points to resting permanently in the work of Christ for our salvation. It is ceremonial, and therefore a secondary issue for Christians today.
The Sabbath will always be Saturday, Christians recognize Sunday as the Lords Day. It is the day Jesus would return on after his resurrection and before the acension. The day of pentecost happened on Sunday was well.
That is false according to history. Yes Constantine played a part in expanding the reach of Christianity: Lord's Day as the first day of the week. Here is another great fact as to the Lord's Day. It was in existence and universally observed 300 years ago. 15th century, A.D. 1409. "He that playeth at unlawful games on Sundays...shall be six days imprisoned." Statute of Henry IV of England. Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 90. 14th century, A.D. 1359. "It is provided by sanctions of law and canon that all Lord's Days be venerably observed." Archbishop of Canterbury. Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 82. 13th century, A.D. 1281. "The obligation to observe the legal Sabbath according to the form of the Old Testament is at an end...to which in the New Testament hath succeeded the custom of spending the Lord's Day...in the worship of God." Archbishop of Canterbury. Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 81. 12th century, A.D. 1174. "We do ordain that these days following be exempt from labor:...All Sundays in the year," etc. Emperor of Constantinople. History of Sabbath and Sunday, page 191. 11th century, A.D. 1025. "Sunday marketing we also strictly forbid." Laws of Denmark. Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 77. 10th century, A.D. 975. "Sunday is very solemnly to be reverenced." Saxon Laws. Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 75. 9th century, A.D. 813. "All Lord's Days shall be observed with all due veneration and all servile work shall be abstained from." Andrew's History of the Sabbath, page 377. 7th century, A.D. 695. "If a slave work on Sunday by his lord's command, let him be free." Saxon Laws. Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 71. 6th century, A.D. 578. "On the Lord's Day it is not permitted to yoke oxen or to perform any other work except for appointed reasons." Council of Auxerre. 5th century. Passing back to about A.D. 450, we come to the history of the church written by Sozomen. In book 2, Chapter VIII, page 22, of Constantine, he says: "He honored the Lord's Day, because on it he arose from the dead." This shows what was meant by Lord's Day in those early times. Stepping back once more to about A.D. 400, we reach the great theologian of the early church, St. Augustine. He says: "The day now known as the Lord's Day, the eighth, namely, which is also the first day of the week." Letters of St. Augustine, letter 55, Chapter XIII. He says the first day of the week was known as the Lord's Day in his times. 4th century. In A.D. 386, the Emperor of Rome decreed as follows: "On the day of the sun, properly called the Lord's Day, by our ancestors, let there be a cessation of lawsuits, business, and indictments." Critical History of Sunday Legislation, page 36. Even the civil law at that early date recognized Sunday as the Lord's Day. Going back again to the era of Constantine the Great, the first Christian Emperor, we reach Eusebius, the "Father of Church History," A.D. 324. He constantly and familiarly uses the term "Lord's Day" for the first day of the week. One passage: "They (the Jewish Christians) also observe the Sabbath, and other discipline of the Jews, just like them; but, on the other hand, they also celebrate the Lord's Days very much like us in commemoration of his resurrection." Ecclesiastical History, book 3, Chapter XXVII. Here Lord's Day is distinguished from the Jewish Sabbath, and is said to be kept on account of the resurrection. This brings us to the era of the Early Christian Fathers. I quote them as translated in the "Ante-Nicene Christian Library." A.D. 306. Peter, Bishop of Alexandria in Egypt: "But the Lord's Day we celebrate as a day of joy, because on it, he rose again." Canon 15. 3rd century, A.D. 270. Anatolius, Bishop of Laodicea, in Asia Minor: "Our regard for the Lord's resurrection which took place on the Lord's Day will lead us to celebrate it." Chapter X. About A.D. 250. The Apostolic Constitution: "On the day of our Lord's resurrection, which is the Lord's Day, meet more diligently." Book 2, sec. 7. A.D. 250, Cyprian, Bishop of Carthage in Africa: "The eighth day, that is, the first day after the Sabbath and the Lord's Day." Epistle 58, section 4. A.D. 200. Tertullian in Africa: "We solemnize the day after Saturday in contradiction to those who call this day their Sabbath." Apology, Chapter XVI. "We however, just as we have received, only on the day of the Lord's resurrection, ought to guard not only against kneeling, but even posture and office of solicitude, deferring even our business." On Prayer, Chapter XXIII. 2nd century, A.D. 194. Clement of Alexandria, Egypt: "He, in fulfillment of the precept, according to the gospel, keeps the Lord's Day, when he abandons an evil disposition, and assumes that of the Gnostic, glorifying the Lord's resurrection in himself." Book 7, Chapter XII. A.D. 180. Bardesanes, Edessa, Asia: "On one day the first of the week, we assemble ourselves together." Book of the Laws of Countries. A.D. 140. Justin Martyr: "But Sunday is the day which we all hold our common assembly, because Jesus Christ, our Saviour, on the same day rose from the dead." Apology, Chapter LXVII. A.D. 120. Barnabas. "We keep the eighth day with joyfulness, the day on which Jesus rose again from the dead." Chapter XVII. A.D. 96. St. John on Patmos: "I was in the spirit on the Lord's Day." Rev. 1:10. A.D. 60. Luke, Asia Minor: "And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them." Acts 20:7. Thus we have traced the Lord's Day or Sunday as a sacred day among Christians from our time back through all the centuries up to the New Testament itself. Who can fail to see that the "Lord's Day" and the "first day of the week" are spoken of in the same manner both by the apostles and down through all the fathers and reformers to our day? To every unbiased mind the evidence must be conclusive that the Lord's Day of Rev. 1:10, written A.D. 96, is the resurrection day the same as it is in every instance where it is used by all the Christian fathers immediately following John. Mark this fact: IN NOT ONE SINGLE INSTANCE EITHER IN THE BIBLE OR IN ALL HISTORY can a passage be found where the term the LORD'S DAY IS APPLIED TO the seventh day, the JEWISH SABBATH. This fact should be and is decisive as to the meaning in Rev. 1:10. Even Sabbatarians themselves do not call the seventh day the Lord's Day, but always say "Sabbath day." Copyright by DMC.

Seventh Day Adventism seems confusing if the sanctuary isn't clearly understood. But once you look through the sanctuary from EAST to WEST, It makes so much sense. The gospel comes alive. The sanctuary is the complete revelation of the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. THY WAY, O GOD, IS IN THE SANCTUARY: WHO IS SO GREAT A GOD AS OUR GOD? (Psalm 77:13) Satan today has unfortunately infiltrated the sanctuary by turning majority of Christianity around from WEST to EAST even though they may not be aware. As a result, many important truths of the Bible have been lost about crucial subjects such as the state of the dead, Judgement, Second Coming, God's Law etc.
Walter Martin: "We hope that many who have looked upon Adventists as dangerous non-Christian cultists will revise this view. Adventists state that Emperor Constantine introduced the first Sunday Law (28 Beliefs, p. 299) in 321 A.D. Meaning, prior to 321 A.D., Adventists believed the Christian world observed Saturday as the day of worship, not Sunday. Adventists suddenly find credibility in the Catholic Church and cite their admission they changed the Sabbath. Since when do Adventists place trust in “The Synagogue of Satan” (1), I know, when they need to find approval for their unbiblical doctrines. The Adventist theological position citing 321 A.D. as the point in which the Christian world switched from Saturday to Sunday has been disproven due to the discovery of a first century document discovered in 1875 or 12 years after the official founding of the Seventh-day Adventist organization. In a Jerusalem Monastery was found one of the most historically significant manuscripts hiding in plain sight as was the Codex Sinaitcus of Mount Sanai. The Didache is a first century Christian noncanonical document also known as the “Teaching of the Twelve Apostles” which shows that the first century church worshiped on Sunday. Constantine can’t change what was already in place. The Didache was discovered by Greek Archbishop Bryennios in 1875. Archbishop Bryennios resided in Constantinople (2) and due to the Russo-Turkish war (1877-1878) (2) he was finally afforded an opportunity to examine the text in 1878 and published his findings in 1883 (3). The Didache is dated to the first century, makes no claim of Apostolic authority, but is a record of the practices in the first century Christian church. One of those practices is recorded in chapter 14 and verse one, which is: “And on the Lord’s Day of the Lord come together, and break bread, and give thanks, having before confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure.” (4) A document found in 1875 has just rendered the Seventh-day Adventist theological statement that Constantine changed the Sabbath in 321 A.D. to be a gross historical and theological error. Since the publication of the Didache in 1883, Adventism has again been shown to be false. --------------------------------------- //REFERENCES// --------------------------------------- 1. “What happened generally in the churches of the United States in 1844, however, is only a microcosm, or partial fulfillment, of the macrocosm, or final and full fulfillment, of the second angel's message that is yet to come. @@thomaszibelli5066 Nothing changed in 321 A.D. as Christians were for nearly 300 years prior Christians were already worshiping on Sunday. The earliest reference to “The Lords Day” as it specifically relates to Sunday is found in the writings of Ignatius (80-100 A.D.) who was a disciple of the Apostle John. His letter to Magnesians (9:1-2) are a direct compare and contrast of the Sabbath to the Sunday worship. He says: “If, then those who lived in old ways came to newness of hope, *no longer keeping Sabbath, but living in accordance with the Lord’s day,* on which also our life arose through him and his death (which some deny), though which mystery we received faith, and therefore we endure that we may be found disciples of Jesus Christ, our only teacher.” (9:1) [emphasis added] The Lords Day is Sunday and Sunday worship was a feature of the first century church and also supported in the Didache (14:1): “And on the Lord's own day gather yourselves together and break bread and give thanks, first confessing your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure.” Therefore, Ignatius and the Didache are two first century sources for Sunday worship and the proper definition for the Lord’s Day. Sabbatarians simply make a claim that it is not Sunday and make this claim without historical support ad they do so in the face of historical literature which refutes their position.

As an active SDA, I find my experiences differ from these commentators. In this church, Bible study is encouraged and many members form differing views on matters. This results in a healthy discussion of topics that leads to further research or strengthens our understanding. I do not believe the church (or any church or individual for that matter) fully understands scripture. It is difficult then for the organisation to put forward a statement of beliefs that represents what its members believe, where this may also be revised with further study. Although termed fundamental beliefs, the important theme of the Bible is the assurance of salvation and the ultimate victory over sin. Some of our statements of faith are peripheral to this and are superfluous in my opinion. For instance, although I'm a vegetarian and agree with the clean and unclean foods, I believe this is for our health and not our salvation. I am confident in my personal salvation, because I accept the offer of righteousness that Jesus' death made possible and I agree that God's law is good. I take from Romans 7, that sin I do not want to do is a result of my sinful state and not of my heart that is willing to follow the law. I also heed Hebrews 10 regarding wilful sin: "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries."
It is common for Adventists to state their religion relies on the bible and the bible alone. This is false for Adventism. Adventism is a religion with many beliefs and doctrines which are NOT found in the pages of Scripture. For example, it is taught in Adventism and by it's so-called inspired Spirit of Prophecy that the Mark of the Beast is reserved for Sunday Keepers (1). This teaching is not found in the bible, but taught. Adventism is not Christian and teaches anti-Christian doctrine. Great Controversy (1888), page 449: “As men then reject the institution which God has declared to be the sign of His authority, and honor in its stead that which Rome has chosen as the token of her supremacy, they will thereby accept the sign of allegiance to Rome--"the mark of the beast." And it is not until the issue is thus plainly set before the people, and they are brought to choose between the commandments of God and the commandments of men, that those who continue in transgression will receive "the mark of the beast."
Thank you for responding. I appreciate that you raise a topic that is held strongly by "Seventh Day" Adventists, the day of worship. The point made in the pages preceding the quoted passage is that the observance of Sunday instead of the Seventh Day is NOT found in the pages of scripture. Should this be true, then in agreement with your reasoning, the Sabbath is indeed a distinguishing mark for those who are Christian (following Christ) or not.
@@cadull8 Do you have a bible? I expected a biblical citation proving that Sunday Keepers will receive the Mark of the Beast for keeping Sunday. That bible verse is?
I guess you didn't read the book you quoted. It quotes the Bible verses and explains how the prophecies are understood, along with historical evidence to support this interpretation. I cannot do the topic justice in these comments. I will say that some things are clear in scripture even though it may not be explicit. For example, the fourth kingdom in Daniel is not named in the Bible, yet we know that Rome followed the third kingdom of Greece and we can confirm this interpretation by comparing historical details with the description of the fourth kingdom in the Bible. My apologies for needing to refer you to more lengthy explanations elsewhere and I pray that God continues to bless and guide you in your relationship with Him and in your ministry here.

Jesus came to earth in a body bearing 4,000 years of physical deterioration. Nevertheless, he was the spotless Lamb of God, without blemish. He was completely man and completely God. 19:08 As mentioned in the comment below the question is if Ellen G White passes in the test of a real prophet or not according to the Bible. If she is not any word from her would be anathema, but if she is then is the word of God speaking thorugh his prophets, isn't it ? Isaiah 8:20: “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Luke 2:36-38 "There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher." God wants us all to go to heaven. .Hence the reason why He has given us His law ( aka the ten commandment ) as our guide- line. David said that THE LAW OF THE LORD IS PERFECT .See Psalms 19:7. Perfect means without fault. Paul say , Go'd's law is HOLY..PURE..JUST..and GOOD. See Romans 7:12. This means any variation of God's law makes it IMPERFECT...UNHOLY...IMPURE... UNJUST and NO- GOOD and is therefore EVIL. The bible tells us clearly how God wants us to relate to His law. See Psalms 1:2....&..Philippians 4:8. Solomon says WE WILL BE JUDGED BY GOD'S LAW. See Ecclesiastes 12:13,14. There are some churches that say since we are saved by grace ...we dont need law. Nothing is further from the truth. You see .. (1) No one will beg a police for grace if he did not break a law.. (2) No one will beg a judge for grace if he did not break a law.. (3) No one will beg a magistrate for grace if he did not break a law.. So since we are saved by grace ...it is saying that there is a law to adhere to . WHAT LAW? See Ecclesistes 12:13,14. One day Jesus met some folks breaking one , just one of His ten commandment and Jesus told them THEIR WORSHIP WAS IN VAIN. See Mathew 15:9 Jesus DOES NOT CHANGE! See Hebrews 13:8...Malachi 3:6. Psalms 89:34. Any one determined to change any of God's commandment will hear on judgement morning YOUR WORSHIP WAS IN VAIN! The Adventist message which they portray as vital salvation last days present truth, is their Three Angels Message. It’s a perverted gospel message which is to leave the pagan Sunday churches, obey an ancient and abrogated Hebrew appointed feast day, and play wannabe Jew. Study the Three Angels Message and the ridiculous and asinine Adventist Great Controversy world view. A devilish fable from hell that proclaims Jesus is in a battle with Satan, and the population of the world will be placed in a position to decide yea or nay on the Decalogue as relevant and binding on all, or irrelevant. There’s a great controversy regarding the law of God which Adventists define as the Hebrew Decalogue. It’s childish ridiculous fables and fairy tales from hell. Adventists are not Christians
The point is that on the surface, on the outside, the lingo of "Christianity" is the same. Words like "grace", "faith", "righteousness" etc are used in SDA preaching and literature. However, when you get *into* the SDA scene, the understanding of those terms are quite different to orthodoxy. Effectively, it's a different gospel. Eg. Adventist to non-adventist: "Jesus died for you. He loves you and wants you to turn to him!" Adventist to Adventist convert: "Jesus lived and died to show us how to live by the law and to demonstrate obedience. We show our love by keeping the commandments to be reconciled to him." Not quite disagreeable to the average Christian. But I grew up in SDAism. Deep down I know there's a very different understanding of the two statements. The statement below has an effect of working to earn. It has a lack of rest and a sort of paranoia to it. A fear. A bondage, a heavy yoke. One the SDA will bear because Eternity is worth obedience, right? All I can say is that the SDA gospel is different practically and effectively. It's hard to explain but I hope helped. God bless you.
Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community. Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 2ND ANGEL: 8. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 3RD ANGEL: 9. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Please note the 1ST ANGEL has "the everlasting gospel". Ellen White and her entire family were kicked out of the Chestnut street Methodist church in Portland Maine because they would stand and disrupt the pastor and proclaim the Miller movement gospel and when the pastor warned them to stop they accused the pastor of not loving God because he refused to preach the soon return of Christ. Ellen was inconsolable for three months after the great disappointment. The foundation of Adventism is error. The demonic cult exists because Ellen White and pioneer Arian Advent heretics refuses to admit error. Pastor Donald Barnhouse described the re- interpretation of the 1844 guessing game as “ The most colossal religious trickery in history. Naive and unimportant.”
@victormendoza How do you know they don't know what SDA's believe? They both came from Adventism. Also, is it possible that some things they remember and experienced are things that aren't being taught in YOUR congregation or even in YOUR area? What makes them liars? How are the glorifying self?

Thank you for having us on your podcast, and for your courage in exposing the truth about Seventh-day Adventism. -Colleen and Nikki @FormerAdventist

It was great seeing you on this channel and you did a superb job explaining the errors of Adventism

Hebrews 1:1-2 mentioned Jesus as the living word (as stated by John 1) However the text doesn’t say no prophets will appear after Jesus, sorry.
Otherwise why Jesus would alert us about false prophets in Matthew 24:24 ? “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” wouldn’t true prophets be around as well ?
How about I Cor 13:2 “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”
The real issue is how to test real prophets, which is answered in Isaiah 8:20: “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Galatians 5: Life by the Spirit
13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.
Sin in a believer’s life
The Bible teaches that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Chuck Missler taught that. That the spirit anticipated every error of doctrine.
The way that you can tell a cult from Christian is simply their authority. Is their authority the bible alone to understand scripture? If their authority is church first, then they are Catholic/Eastern Orthodox etc. If their authority is a theologian such as John Calvin/Augustine, then they are Calvinist. If their authority is the watchtower, then they are JW. etc etc.

Could you guys do a show on the dangers of the hyper Grace teachings?

This episode has grossly mischaracterised Adventism. I must say that, I find your experts out of their depth in Adventist Theology.
Righteousness by faith is lip service in Adventism, but in actuality it is Sabbath Keeping that matters. Adventists have no confidence in salvation as taught by their false prophet and false teacher:
“Those who accept the Saviour, however sincere their conversion, should *never be taught to say or to feel that they are saved.”*
White, Ellen. Christ's Object Lessons. Michigan: Review and Herald Publishing, 1908, p. 155
There is no known salvation in Adventism because in Adventism, everyone is awaiting the outcome of the Investigative Judgement, by Levitical Priest Investigative Judgemetn Jesus, which is no Christ:
“As the books of record are opened in the judgment, the lives of all who have believed on Jesus come in review before God. Beginning with those who first lived upon the earth, our Advocate presents the cases of each successive generation, and closes with the living. Every name is mentioned, every case closely investigated. Names are accepted, names rejected. When any have sins remaining upon the books of record, unrepented of and unforgiven, their names will be blotted out of the book of life, and the record of their good deeds will be erased from the book of God's remembrance.”
White, Ellen. The Great Controversy. Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1888, p. 483
Adventism is simply not Christian.
Yeah, I agree with what you’re saying.
Righteousness by faith ≠ justification by faith.
The investigative judgement is also incompatible with justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to the scriptures alone and to the glory of God alone. You know, the fundamentals of the protestant Christian faith.

813. "All Lord's Days shall be observed with all due veneration and all
servile work shall be abstained from." Council of Mayence.
8th century. In the year 747, an English council said: "It is ordered that the Lord's Day be celebrated with due veneration, and wholly devoted to the worship of God." Andrew's History of the Sabbath, page 377.
I quote them as translated in the "Ante-Nicene Christian Library."
96, is the resurrection day the same as it is in every
instance where it is used by all the Christian fathers immediately following John.

(Psalm 77:13)
Satan today has unfortunately infiltrated the sanctuary by turning majority of Christianity around from WEST to EAST even though they may not be aware. As a result, many important truths of the Bible have been lost about crucial subjects such as the state of the dead, Judgement, Second Coming, God's Law etc.
SDA makes it confusing tbh

The Catholic Church admits they made the change of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday in the catechism. So I keep it because of what the Bible tells me, not anyone else! (See: Exodus chapter 20:8-11- Daniel 7:25) and I use the KJV Bible some might use the NKJV Bible, Thanks!
One of those practices is recorded in chapter 14 and verse one, which is:
“And on the Lord’s Day of the Lord come together, and break bread, and give thanks, having before confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure.” (4)
A document found in 1875 has just rendered the Seventh-day Adventist theological statement that Constantine changed the Sabbath in 321 A.D. to be a gross historical and theological error. Since the publication of the Didache in 1883, Adventism has again been shown to be false.

He says:
“If, then those who lived in old ways came to newness of hope, *no longer keeping Sabbath, but living in accordance with the Lord’s day,* on which also our life arose through him and his death (which some deny), though which mystery we received faith, and therefore we endure that we may be found disciples of Jesus Christ, our only teacher.” (9:1) [emphasis added]
The Lords Day is Sunday and Sunday worship was a feature of the first century church and also supported in the Didache (14:1): “And on the Lord's own day gather yourselves together and break bread and give thanks, first confessing your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure.”
Therefore, Ignatius and the Didache are two first century sources for Sunday worship and the proper definition for the Lord’s Day.

He was tempted in alll points like we are, yet without sin. He never used his divinity to combat sin in his life: He fully depended on the Holy Spirit. The incarnation of Christ is a theme that will uplift the soul. God bless!

God wants us all to go to heaven. .Hence the reason why He has given us His law ( aka the ten commandment ) as our guide- line.
See Mathew 15:9
Jesus DOES NOT CHANGE!

Simple. Anything that Ellen White or SDAs introduced, instituted or developed in the 1800s + is differen't... from Paul.
He loves you and wants you to turn to him!"
Adventist to Adventist convert: "Jesus lived and died to show us how to live by the law and to demonstrate obedience. We show our love by keeping the commandments to be reconciled to him."
Not quite disagreeable to the average Christian.

Hmmm ... thank you for your comment but actually the Gospel message of the 3 Angels is found in Revelation 14.6-12 which is IN the Bible.
1ST ANGEL:
6. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation and kindred, and tongue, and people,

12. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Please note the 1ST ANGEL has "the everlasting gospel". Also note phrase "third angel" in verse 9 so these 3 distinct messages, verses 6-7, 8, 9-12 go together.

@@AcademyApologia Yes, I have read your comment so let's start with a simple Bible study.
1ST ANGEL:
6. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the EVERLASTING GOSPEL to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7. Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Revelation 14.6,7 KJV
2ND ANGEL:
8. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Revelation 14.8 KJV
3RD ANGEL:
9. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14.9-12 KJV
In Revelation 14:6-12 above, this is the last message (the 3 angels messages) sent to all the world before Jesus Christ returns in Revelation 14.14-16 (compare Matthew 13.30 & Jeremiah 8.20).
14. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
15. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in Thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for Thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16. And He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
Revelation 14.14-16 KJV
30. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Mathew 13.30 KJV
20. The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
Jeremiah 8.20 KJV
The Son of man is Jesus Christ and the harvest is the end of the world. Do you agree that Revelation 14.6-12 is the last day message?
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readerh, and they that hear the words of Prophecy, and keep those things which are written their in: for the time is at hand. kJV.

You cannot prove we are a cult. The guy who wrote the book Retracted.
It’s actually the opposite. The guy was initially convinced by Adventist efforts in publishing Questions on Doctrine. Years later he saw that he had been duped and started asking questions which he mentions in that video clip that he never got answers to his initial 3 questions. He specifically says when the Adventists wanted to evade the tag they cooperated with him to the extent of publishing a whole book to avoid being labeled a cult. But when he heard things and came back with questions suddenly Ted N Wilson Senior and his immediate subordinates no longer had time for him. He was no longer of any real value. The book called questions on doctrine was only published once as far as I am aware, but when Pastors started preaching out of it they got fired. It was just a smoke screen and not intended to be taken seriously by Adventists.

They were both born generational SDAs & know the doctrines very well.
After watching this 4 part series, I'm amazed at how little you came up with to show the errors and bad things about Seventh Day Adventists. Is that all? Well, I'm glad to be a SDA. It's a great experience. I'm happy to love and obey God and Jesus Christ. Are you going to do a Cultish on Evangelical Christianity? How about the Prosperity Gospel? False miracles? Believe in Jesus and live and behave anyway you feel like or want to? It's always a little uncomfortable to expose self to criticism of our beliefs. Thanks for exposing yourselves. Blessings.
All this talk and not ONE point to prove otherwise 😏.... typical sda's always getting their feelings hurt leaving unproductive comments making claims about others being misinformed, yet unable to produce ONE source to prove otherwise
How about we discuss the fact that Ellen G White has authority EQUAL to scripture over the sda church...
And the fact that she lied
@@nicetry620 For some people they allow Ellen Whites writings to supercede the Bible. But I don't do that. I consider her writings to be commentary and not scripture. I've learned much from her writings; but they are not scripture to me as the Bible is. You claim that she lied. Have you lied? I think she was a true Christian and loved Jesus very much. I did enjoy your videos and learned from them valuable insights. Blessings.
"Delsha" it's for official members of the sda church, apparently your not one.
But Let's see here🧐...
Here we see Ellen G White having her writings placed EQUAL to scripture....
Let's see here 🤔...
Vow #8: "I ACCEPT the Biblical teaching of spiritual gifts, and believe that the gift of prophecy is one of the IDENTIFYING MARKS of the REMNANT CHURCH."
Now let's see what fundamental belief #18 has to say about the IDENTIFYING MARK of the REMNANT CHURCH 🤔....
FUNDAMENTAL BELIEF #18
One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is prophecy. This gift is an IDENTIFYING MARK of the REMNANT CHURCH and was MANIFESTED in the ministry of ELLEN G. WHITE.
(SO.... here we see that as a member of the REMNANT CHURCH you MUST vow to ACCEPT the IDENTIFYING MARK of the REMNANT CHURCH which was MANIFESTED in ELLEN G WHITES writings)
Now let's see what the spirit of prophecy herself has to to say about her writings....
ELLEN G WHITE:
We "MUST" follow the directions given through the spirit of prophecy [Mrs. White's writings]. ... God has spoken to us through His Word. He has spoken to us through the Testimonies to the church and through the books that have helped to make plain our present duty and the position that we should now occupy." (Testimonies, Vol. 8, p. 298)
(Now explain how this is not placing her writings EQUAL to scripture)???
Maybe you should go to the former adventist fellowship podcast. (also on youtube) So these young ladies can beat your socks off.

They think the mark of the beast is invisible. -knowing the Greek word for "mark" in Revelation is: CHARAGMA

Eating bacon is also still a problem. You shouldnt eat what Yah has said is unclean to us.
SOMEBODY HAS A SPIRIT SPEAKING LIES... MAKING YOU READ THE BIBLE BACKWARDS...
1 Timothy 4
New King James Version
The Great Apostasy
4 Now THE SPIRIT [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and DOCTRINES OF DEMONS, 2 speaking LIES in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to ABSTAIN FROM FOODS which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For EVERY CREATURE of God IS GOOD, and NOTHING IS TO BE REFUSED if it is received with thanksgiving; 5 for it is [b]sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
@@ADVENTFRAUDSQUAD i would encourage you to seek understanding my brother. Yah doesn't change.
@@ADVENTFRAUDSQUAD The meaning of these verses are not that we should go ahead and just eat anything; the reference is to the heretical doctrine of abstaining from foods that God gave and approved. “For it is sanctified by the word of Yah and prayer” (verse 5 emphasize added). The Word of Yah, in the Old Testament, defines which meats are to be consumed and which not.
@@YahushaIsTheWay That's weird. Does he still require circumcision? Did he baptize Eve? Does he demand burnt offerings? Did Noah receive the gift of tongues. -former SDA here -you're waaayyy off track
@@ADVENTFRAUDSQUAD basically its saying that religious leaders have tried many times to make their congregations to stop eating meat and other foods that Yah has approved us to eat and that is wrong. Like someone trying to say that you have to be a vegetarian when Yah said what meats are clean for us. If you want to be a vegetarian that's fine, but you shouldnt try to use Yahs word to convince people that they should be a vegetarian or they are going to hell. That's would be a doctrine of demons.

Hi! Thanks for talking about SDA. Im not or never was I part of it, however when I lived in Northern California I was surrounded by many of them, the hospital I worked for was SDA and even my roommate was SDA. Her husband is a pastor in Oregon and Her brother in law is a pastor in Australia, the latter and I have kept in touch throughout the years however, we dont talk about religion or such. Some or most of his posts on FB are very christian geared, they (he and his wife) address Jesus and salvation through Him and about His sacrifice. After listening to the podcast I feel that if I went to them and tried to approach them on the misconceptions of their religion, I wouldnt be able to show them what I know because everything they speak about (with exception of dietary rules) seems very biblical. 🤷🏻♀️
@Joel Villarreal respectfully, what does research have to do with the way they refer about Jesus? I have always been clear that their beliefs aren’t biblical. However, my question and concern relate to that these couples rarely mention EGW, rarely talk about their Vows and fundamental beliefs but their expressions about God and Jesus sound biblical. I was ince at a bible study with them and besides getting into an argument about eating carnitas with a girl everything else sounded very Christian-like. God was gracious to me and I never thought about joining but if I sat with them to argue their beliefs, they could deny everything about EGW and sound as if what they believe about Jesus is the same as I do. Thats my point. Are they under new training? I am string in what i believe but someone else could fall easily.
That's the whole point of the conversation. Yes they do "seem" biblical, they say all the right things but mean something different in practice and behave differently in private.
Adventists have the same religious words as Christians but they have a different dictionary. Adventists are not Christians. The foundational doctrine of demons is horrendous. Redeemed saints are not on probation and they are not being investigated to determine if they are worthy of heaven. It’s impossible to embrace the foundational doctrine of Adventism and be saved.
@@viviponce4537 sounds to me like you don’t know what the pure gospel message is. Adventists are the antithesis of Christians- they just throw around some religious words. Adventists are in an insidious demonic cult and are going to eternal hell. When you make proclamations like the sacred blood of Christ does not cancel sin you are not a Christian.
@@viviponce4537 you have apparently done zero research. The despicable history of the Adventist demonic cult is shocking. Ugly and dark and devilish. Adventist messenger from hell Ellen White pontificated that Christian pastors had the blood of souls on their hands and all were doomed but 150 shut door advent freaks. Ellen vision supported her heretical nightmare for 7 years. When the October 22, 1851 guessing game of Joseph Bates proved to be a false prophecy just like the October 22, 1841 William Miller prophecy was a joke. Adventists come from an asinine farmer with a K.J.V. , a concordance, and a weird fascination with the number 7. William Miller was a false prophet who had a chain of truth that was beyond ridiculous.
Tinker has been out of the SDA church that she is not up to date. It would be nice if they wouldn’t demonize everything that the church does.
