Great video. I really like how you broke down all of the perks, it was very helpful as someone who gets overwhelmed by perk choices. Would love to see more for the other Brave weapons.
Excellent video as always. Next season when we’ll be able to enhance the perks, kinetic tremors may be proc’d by only 4 shots instead of 6, so that’s something to take into consideration when farming this gun. I’ve been using explosive / KT and although they don’t necessarily have perfect synergy, they make the gun a great utility able to handle both minors and majors.

Pretty much impossible to beat Graviton or Sunshot at pure add clear, but that's mostly because the exotic version of the Dragonfly/Firefly perks can chain off kills from the explosion. There isn't really a legendary equivalent that can clear an *entire* wave of 15+ adds spread in a line with a single shot.
I would absolutely keep your eyes open for Firefly though, it's essentially 80% of Outlaw + Dragonfly. Outlaw is technically 70 reload instead of 50, which is moot here but the 0.9x animation multiplier is definitely noticeable. Firefly + Tremors/Frenzy/OFA/Desperate Measures are all going to feel incredible.

@@RuffRyder the dragonfly kills will proc incandescent, but those kills can't proc dragonfly. Sunshot can chain explosions effectively infinitely, since any explosion kills also explode, and those kills also explode, on and on.
It is a very fun perk combo though I still prefer enh Wellspring over Dragonfly, but that's more for energy regen.

Fantastic breakdown of perk synergy. Shame you didn't include Epochal Integration in your testing, considering it's been a current Zaouli contester. Even so, can't wait to get that MC roll! Just gotta get that one Mountain Top one, first.
thanks i was waiting for someone to make this. Turns out i have a firefly and oneforall one stashed. Stashing 20 of each gun and then figuring out the god roll after seems to be the play
yeah that's what I have been doing. But lately I go and test them at the end of a play session to see what I like so that I can clean up my vault a bit before I go back to farming haha
Great video, thanks! So far I have a firefly/frenzy roll that I need to try. What’s your take on kinetic primaries and giving up the synergy that an energy primary can have on your subclass? Are there situations where it’s more beneficial to run a kinetic primary?
i like them. And kinetic specials are literally meta thanks to the extra damage
arrowhead is for burst weapons and high fire rate weapons , semi-auto like handcannon, scout, sniper and singe-shot fusion rifle dont benefit mostly for recoil direction stat , i would suggest to go for stabity or handling, giving best of anti-flinch and reticle kick and adjust the last one by give a little touch to sensibility setting .....hope to been helpful with my comment....cheers!!!!
I've been using firefly one for all. One headshot can proc one for all and you can keep chaining it
I got my first midnight coup shiny with outlaw & explosive on left and on the right rampage & one for all so I’m now happy I didn’t realize one for all was that good I’ve kinda always slept on it
I got a explosive + kinetic tremors roll and it was great for current GM. The boss is just really tanky and I was running cenotaph, so i had a div as my special. Also you kinda dont want to waste your heavy on the boss phases, because while it is pretty tanky it is also basically harmless once you cleared the ads. Better to keep heavy to quickly clear the arena each time you phase the boss.
I have it and It dropped with Kill Clip/ Firefly, Thresh/ Explosive Payload, Appended Mag/ Flared Magwell, Arrowhead Break/ Extended Barrel! You are correct, it stomps, period!

I’m targeting EP and KT, I know KT don’t work how people want it too, but it does fill a role I need and helps improve and stretch my damage and ad clear in higher difficulty content.
I will be giving EP and OFA a try though ngl.
Funny enough I got a shiny midnight with polygonal rifling, accurized rounds, explosive payload/enlightened action, and frenzy/desperate measures, immediately after finishing the mission for it, I love this thing. Chilling in a group of ads that give me woven mail and heals from orbs lets me proc stuff so fast

Thanks for this. I've really been craving a Zaouli's Bane to free up my Exotic slot, but it seems like high hopes from someone who can't raid that often. Now I can attune a very similar Midnight Coup instead!
You absolutely do not need a zaoulis bane. If you own lightfall, earn or throw back on epochal integration. I never used it but it absolutely pops off this season. It feels WAY better to shoot than Zaoulis imo
That's a good gun but I just didn't feel like it was a good enough replacement. I now have both the rolls talked about in this video and I think they'll do the trick.
Currently running a extended barrel, tac mag, firefly, frenzy. So far it's been treating me well, but I will use this till I get my hands on an ex payload + one for all
Got a firefly rampage roll. It's like og MC but better. Definitely fun in average content. Definitely want that sweet one for all in the right column
Finally farmed one of these. Shiny, Hammer forged, Tac mac, Firefly/EP and Rampage/OFA with Range MW.
I was hoping to get KT instead of Rampage for the maximum meme god roll but what can i say?
I have done thousands of waves just for this midnight to drop. Not going to go through this all over again.
And as expected, the sunshot at home variant (firefly + OFA) works great at lower end content, while EP + OFA slaps in harder content.
I needed to use counter balance to bring recoil redirection to 95 as back up reserves with tac mag only makes it 14 rounds. So ain't missing much. And with spec mods getting removed, I guess this helps out.
Got one with Ext Barrel, Flared, OFA and Firefly...yowza! Range masterwork. Do you like stability over Range? I can go either 50 stability and 60 range or 60 stability and 50 range.
Fatebringer adept is still better because of Firefly + EP. Instead of having them both in the same slot for some reason. Was amazing for quick ad clear during -15 and -20 Pantheon.
I love the midnight coup, i got lucky and got a shiny with explosive payload with one for all and frenzy on the 4th column

I have the explosive payload frenzy roll and it's been a go to for me.
Love OFA, but that explosive payload + kinetic tremors felt SO nice when I used it.
00:45 only used in it pvp as a SUPER casual player (im talking dropping .5 sometimes because over commits alot and sometimes dropping 5-10s because i was trying hard to play my life) and in pvp it feels like a craftable ace but you lose your radar now.
Ace is my highest kill HC by far and i got a firefly zen moment roll and man it just feels like ace but with 60 range on mine and not 85
havent tried my expo all for all or my shoot to loot kinetic tremors pve rolls yet

What do you think about firefly rampage on this?? I’ve tested it out and it’s pretty nice. I do agree with your one for all statement as well. Both are good choices.
One for all is much easier to proc in high end content (which is what I mostly play). Rampage good for lower end content

Can you do this for EVERY hrave weapon? I got like 5+ of each one and need the vault space back. Recluse or elsies next please. I like to keep 2 PvEs and 2 PvP versions.
Been farming mountaintop since release everyday for like 4-5 hours and didn't get a single shiny one, guess its time to take a short break
I always ignored one for all perk maybe I will keep one
One side not I usually avoid using exp payload and firefly ,in high end content enemies most of the time die to body damage from exp payload thus not procing firefly

Personally on my primary weapons I value more AoE than raw damage. That’s why on my Zaouli’s I have enhanced EP/Incandescent

I stay away from HC's, even Sunshot. Because I dont like the way they fire, they feel sluggish.. But the Midnight Coup feels more "Light'. Ill take Explosive Payload/Firefly with Frenzy......Another problem with HC'.Slow Reload.
Need is a strong word; there are way too many good exotic primaries and way too many good kinetic slot hand cannons. I'm the type to get annoyed about clickbait, don't take it personally.
Can confirm Firefly/OFA slaps though. I've been on Lucky Pants the past couple days, which basically turns hand cannons into heavy weapons, and this didn't feel quite as good as Malf when it came to racking up damage on Demolitionists and the like (which tracks, since it can't stack the buff as fast), but it definitely cleared adds real quick.
Good shout on the Firefly/Flint Striker interaction, didn't occur to me! And also same for Harrowed Zaouli's having Explosive/OFA by default, that's been sitting in my vault for a million years...
I may have deleted an explosive payload one for all roll but I can't log on right now to find out 😕
Kinetic Tremors was a let down for me. It doesn’t fully proc until after 6th shot😑

@@itztizzle once I get a firefly one for all roll as well, my life will be complete. Feels so good to have a legendary that can actually ad clear in underpower content. I was awed popping red bars in one shot the other day, felt insanely good. Really shows how bad legendarys need a buff... ideally closing the exotic primary-legendary gap by 20% so exotic primaries are stronger but by a smaller degree

Apologies everyone, been trying to figure this out since one solution works for some and not other players. Below are some additional solutions tailored to these consoles:
PS5 Specific Solutions
1. Adjust Audio Output Settings:
- Navigate to `Settings > Sound > Audio Output`.
- Ensure the correct output device is selected, such as your headset or speakers.
2. Check Microphone Settings:
- Go to `Settings > Sound > Microphone`.
- Ensure the microphone is set as the input device and adjust the microphone level.
3. Restart Your Console:
- Completely power off your PS5, then restart it. This can resolve minor glitches affecting audio functions.
4. Update System Software:
- Ensure your PS5 is updated with the latest system software. Go to `Settings > System > System Software > System Software Update and Settings > Update System Software`.
5. Reset Voice Chat Settings in Destiny 2:
- In Destiny 2, go to `Settings > Sound` and hold the square button to reset the sound settings to default.
PS4 Specific Solutions
1. Check PS4 Sound/Devices Settings:
- Hold the PS button to open the Quick Menu.

Do a FULL FACTORY RESET!
I hope in the next major update, they fix this issue!
I keep only Onslaught weapons that come with the Brave ornament and choice on four slots.
I dont think i will bother with the sniper rifle.

To my Witcher fans: The One For All + Firefly Midnight Coup is the equivalent to using Whirl with the Severance Rune on The Aerondight Sword while Wearing at least 3 pieces of the Cat School Gear in The Witcher 3.

haha I had an osmosis weapon on my day one raid build suggestions for keeping radiant going with empyrean. Got flamed. It is so good though for certain builds. People just don't understand. Also just used that fatebringer with a void lock and the volatile rounds go hard AF

It'll be good but the real issue is that there hasn't been a good reason to run a legendary kinetic primary in actual years. (Pve anyway)

For the first time since it’s release, there’s a HC in the kinetic slot that gives Fatebringer competition to me. Fatebringer has been far too versatile to put something else over it. If you have the time lost, you’ve obviously got Explo Payload which for the longest time I believed to be the best PVE perk, I got mine with frenzy too which serves me perfectly for Gms,master content. And then switch to firefly for more general content. It could cover for everything. This just has too many combos, and pretty much the best of perks there is for hand cannons or anything really.
Nah, would rather have hammer forged with moving target with a counter balance mod for pvp. With that I have good recoil with range and with max AA.

Different slot, allows you to use different special weapons in other slots.. should still get one to have, in case you want a Energy slot special later on.

Small bore or chambered compensator for better recoil direction. Mag, I usually like flared magwell. Appended alright too
