Just a query (August 2023), why is our android asking to update almoat 8/10 apps every month or sometines every 20days.. Now this is not just one time. So here is the deal... Samsung now won't do software updates constantly... just monthly... so if you bought (as an example) a galaxy note 9 that was NOT updated since the very beginning... they won't release the update multiple times... they will release the latest one but it will take like 30 min to 1 hour because the update package has more than one file to update the phone So if you have your galaxy note 9 with android 8.1.0 on it then the update package will be big... and more than one file... so it will install all the security updates that is in the package... then it will go through the android versions... and after installing them... it will start configuring and updating the apps... and all this will take up to 1 hour... so be patient and don't rush... if you are in a hurry and reboot the phone while updating... then you are is so much trouble

I have a question. I went into settings and about phone like you said. I have a Samsung Galaxy A50. There have got to be 6 version that are mentioned when I click about phone. 😶I installed an update yesterday and I don't really like it. Any idea what's going on with all these versions??
some of the things you dont like may change by the time you install the most recent ones?
My phone keeps updating itself automatically, but then (several times a day) it notifies me that it has uodated. I cant seem to stop these notifications
I don't understand nothing

I received a replacement phone from the carrier for my Samsung j3 the beginning of July and my phone suddenly starting to do updates a few days ago and has did it more than once a day and will not give me the option of canceling it. It had never did this before on my previous one and started the previous week. When I tried contacting the carrier they could not comprehend what I was saying and was telling me to "ignore, cancel, prevent it", when there is no way for me to choose that option, since there is not one! Could you please assist me with what to do or prevent it from doing this. I had not added, changed, or been on anything to have caused it to make the change on my phone. Thank you!
Look up the models information under your service provider (att, Verizon, etc) and see what updates they have put out there and what update you are currently on and you will see how many you still have
@@ScooterRoth I have did that and contacted both the provider and the manufacturer and one says the other is responsible while the other says no the other one is. I received another replacement and it started doing the same exact thing a few days ago and this morning it did it three times within a few minutes. It has gotten more than frustrating and they both said there is no way to fix it or stop it from doing this, therefore the phone carrier said I am to purchase a new phone. But Samsung says the carrier should provide me with a completely new one not a refurbished one since the refurbished one I received September 1st has began this same exact annoying stuff a few days ago.
This makes sense, I just got a tablet a few days ago and it’s like it updates every single day, coming from apple products I was like why is this like this lol
Straight and to the point! Finally someone figured it out!
Thank you ...I try
Straight and to the point? He doesn't start getting into it til fuckin halfway through the video.
@@hioeo when you scour the internet for someone that can help you, you dont complain about the little details... i was going crazy till i found this guy
Thank for coming to my defense. I appreciate it
@@ScooterRoth Thanks for the valuable info. But to be fair you really did take a while to get to the point.
Thank you. I thought something was wrong with my new S10. Still annoying, but makes sense.
This is not a solution, there's an actual issue with software and firmware updates and to just sit and wait while you go through 30 updates on a weekly basis and allow them to go through does not solve the problem.
This video is more than a year old and may not apply to current models / issues. Seems to have helped quite a few though
Just a query (August 2023), why is our android asking to update almoat 8/10 apps every month or sometines every 20days.. Now this is not just one time. In 2023, i may have update almost 7 to 8 of 90-100% of my apps. If anyone here knows recent android issues for the year 2023. It never happened this many times in 21-22.
They say that when you have older phone, don't update to the latest software cuz it'll slow your phone, is it a myth?
I dont know if it slows the phone but it will most likely render it more useless as some of the updated apps wont work anymore
Thanks for making this video, may God bless you!!
I'm on a cricket icon 3 is it the same for them?
Thank you I am on my 3rd update and was about to return this phone
You're welcome :)
My phone said it had a emergency update and it wouldn't be able to work in 1 day now I'm scared what do I do?
Salty because I have this phone as a work phone... literally got it a week ago and I’m already on update 18... wtf!! This shit is mad annoying
My S10 5G fingerprint Don't work. Always i open fingerprint option that says "If this keep happening restart your phone"
I restart my phone and also reset my phone but fingerprint doesn’t work.
There might be a scratch on the sensor in the back
I've been doing this for what feels like days...I'm finally on 28!!!!! Before looking into, using your method I find update 28 to be the last one...thankyou for the future use at least but 28 updates is ridiculous...
So here is the deal... Samsung now won't do software updates constantly... just monthly... so if you bought (as an example) a galaxy note 9 that was NOT updated since the very beginning... they won't release the update multiple times... they will release the latest one but it will take like 30 min to 1 hour because the update package has more than one file to update the phone
So if you have your galaxy note 9 with android 8.1.0 on it then the update package will be big... and more than one file... so it will install all the security updates that is in the package... then it will go through the android versions... and after installing them... it will start configuring and updating the apps... and all this will take up to 1 hour... so be patient and don't rush... if you are in a hurry and reboot the phone while updating... then you are is so much trouble
This video helped me with my S10+
This helped alot, tysm!! I just bought a tablet for art and school and was worried I was gonna have to send it back 😅
🤯🤯🤯What is update the (client initiated) software meaning for Lg Android phone? If you can help. Thank you😊
wut if they dont have a laptop or computer?
Just knowing how many doesn't help me.. I want it to be DONE!!
Yea i know the frustration.
Yeah no kidding. I never installed an update so my phone decide to do it herself and I hate it.
