I'm hearing the Striped bass spawn has failed for 7 years now, happy to see some small bass, do you think they are spawning somewhere else since they migrate up the east coast? Or is it gloomy & possibly what we have is all that's left?
I think it’s possible that spawns are happening elsewhere, but given the size of the chesapeake, I don’t see how any other estuary or estuaries can compensate for the loss of that habitat. I think the theory of other spawning areas is more so cope for not wanting to confront the realities of overharvest, habitat destruction, and pollution. I’m not optimistic.
@@KambotroutFishingAllowing removal of tons of menhaden -can't help, I hear Virginia is allowing it. I wish there was more we could do as fisherman to help. I appreciate all the stuff you do.
@@underdogoutdoors I wish I had more time to do more. Family and work have taken the lion’s share of my time lately, but I wouldn’t order my priorities any other way.
We need more snakehead videos 😥I Started snakehead fishing About a month or two ago Its sad Now the bites already over You Should make a video going into detail on if/how you can catch them in The cold
Sad part is I’m sitting on a bunch of snakehead video. Just don’t have any time to edit it. Any videos I edit nowadays are at the cost of sleep. Only time I have available 😂 Checkout this one though: ua-cam.com/video/-sy9NUR1iPI/v-deo.htmlsi=kpDL6LR1wuci7Hs0
