"Bob Saget" this man is an absolute legend. This instantly brought back so many old internet video memories. Also, classic move with lead pot not being hot!
I love Nano baits I think one of the first videos of yours I ever watched was Smallest crankbait ever. Been hooked ever since. Mind The pun. Coffee time!
Your nano chatter bait was cool, but I think it would’ve been better served. If you had put the line tie on top of the chatter bait blade and a stiffer hook in the back of it. Love your videos keep them coming, bro.!!!
Idea: The Ultimate Topwater Bait. Whopper Plopper propeller, interior rattles, the Jackall Pompador blade in the front, and frog legs on the back 😂 I think I might be obsessed with topwater baits
Make the most colorful caterpillar lure you can come up with. I was fishing the other day and I saw one one wriggling in the water trying to get to shore and it got mauled by a baby bass.
It's cool when your bait doesn't work, or works differently. I've learned a lot watching your channel. You've inspired me to turn my favorite crankbait profile into a flat sided crank. I bang it into the weeds and mud and then let it float up and crank it down again. I used cedar. Thanks for all of the videos.
Use the dremel on the chatter blade, Nate! There's like dozens of dremel attachments you can use to cut and shape sheet steel. Try again sometime, we'd love to see this idea work out!
Zman makes micro 1/8 oz chatterbaits with tiny blades. They even have a 1/16 oz. flashback mini with an even tinier blade. It's a legit nano chatter from zman
You should make an epic bait mold frog! Something with alot of action! You could call it a pray frog. Or maybe a wip frog???!! An injection mold frog would definitely be pretty awesome!
Interesting idea For micro baits , instead of trying to get wire to hold all the pull I use 40 to 60 lb braid through the bait Out the nose through the lip or blade Alongside the wire and I pre attach a split ring to the braid and wire This lets the braid take most of the pull of the fish But the wire keeps the blade in place With all knots of the braid super glued
Have you ever carved a school of minnows into the crankbait? Maybe jointed with uv resined ball bearings in the joint to make it click like crazy? Have a good day Nate!
Possible interesting overly nerdy video idea: do some strength testing for different joint/attachment types. Get a digital scale hook it on some line tied to the lure and gently pull possibly by adding weight to the side pulling? There are so many variables for each type of joinery. Different woods, different glues, wire thickness... angle of pull even.
Every single time you paint, there's always one decision that makes me gasp and think it clashes too much. But then, it always ends up looking better in the end. I guess this is why you make videos and I watch them lol
Really cool you posted the video even tho there were issues. Bob Saget!! "Boy I don't feel like I know what I'm doing." I liked the idea and thought it would work. Not much of a chatterbait guy. I'd rather fish a spinnerbait. Oooooo! Lure Idea!! Wood body in-line spinner kinda like a rooster tail. Thanks for posting.
6:20 - you’re thinking of infrared… IR… remote controls, safety sensors in appliances and other systems… at higher intensities: tanning booths, sunburns, barn floors… that little flashlight that cures your resin is ultraviolet, aka UV, aka “blacklight”. 😉 It works in the sunlight because when it hits the Earth sunlight includes both IR and UV light!
😳😳😳You’re like the Bob Ross of bait making….I thought the paint was perfect…and all of a sudden, here comes Bob Ross, brush in hand, to paint a huge black, ….in this case, FOREST, right in the middle of our waterfall 🤣🤣🤣
Speaking of foil, I'd like to see you use some gold leaf or some other type of brush on metal. And then maybe paint some scales and accents over top of it so the foil shines through brightly.
i bet you could have ground the metal down to the size you wanted. please do a micro whopper plopped next! thanks for the entertaining and educational contents.
If you feel the indented side of your wire cutters with silicone and then cut them open when you cut small pieces of wire the silicone will hold it in place and it won't shoot across the room
you should make a betta fish lure. i think that would be bonkers
Could use marabou for the fins!
If so, please make it after my beta named Frank! He has a black body, orange fins, and a VERY dark blue color on the ends of his fins.
I feel like the lures are pretty nice and here this guy is asking for a ‘betta’ one?!?!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@eddyshook5930 i’m not saying any of his lures are bad i’m just saying that a betta lure would be cool
I'm sure I commented this phrase unded a marling baits video once...
😂 Nate Nooo!!!!! man you had me yelling at my phone.. bro you have like 3 sanders, you can sand metal. Redo with that metal blade
I did the same thing!!
And the dremel with the little cut off discs....
You could have ground the blade down on your 1x30 grinder. I grind steel making knives all the time. Your channel has become a regular weekly watch.
Good tip!

i love that name buck fudder🤣
A little tip I learned from making my own nano chatterbait, Make it WAYYY heavier than you think it needs to be, works every time.
I love Nano baits I think one of the first videos of yours I ever watched was Smallest crankbait ever. Been hooked ever since. Mind The pun. Coffee time!
16:44, gorgeous paint scheme there man! Nothing crazy but really tasteful.
You can grind that blade down on your 30” x 1” belt grinder. I make knives on mine. They can grind down pretty heavy steel. 0:45

At 11:25 when you said “how’s it doing that”, there was something about it but I couldn’t stop physically laughing for over a minute 😂😂
“Let’s do another spin for good measure” 😂 Thanks for the laughs Nate!
Lots of waffling on this video😊Not complaining just explaining like you 😂😂😂❤ Great video thanks..
Make the most colorful caterpillar lure you can come up with. I was fishing the other day and I saw one one wriggling in the water trying to get to shore and it got mauled by a baby bass.
I’m always blown away by how much detail you can get into such a tiny bait! Love the videos! Hope you and the family are doing well!

Bro I love this guys stuff so much I haven’t gone a day in like 3 months without watching one of his videos
great build nate! awesome paint scheme as well my friend. thank you brother.
You inspired me to make my first lure a year ago and now I'm about to start selling them without your videos I would of never started making lure.
I've been sick since 3 am this morning, now that I'm watching this I'm starting to feel better thanks Marling
Out of focus is the base of my life the ramblings are just a bonus
I love these nano lures your making I’ve been watching all of them over and over again this past week
It’s amazing what you can do with baits
Loving the One Day action lately...
Its an amazing day when I get to see Marling Baits made a video. AAAAND im 3d printing some micro lures right now too!!!
Nano bait series is 🔥
This channel is WAY too cool
Use the dremel on the chatter blade, Nate! There's like dozens of dremel attachments you can use to cut and shape sheet steel. Try again sometime, we'd love to see this idea work out!
love a good one day vid. Cheers to you and yours mr marling baits
One of the best videos so far dude! Love it when you showed the final eye-choice 😂 ❤
plllsssss make whopper plopper. It would be really cool watching you make a lure with spinning parts and one that actually makes sound! plsss
We did make one, but I would like to see it again because of I can remember correct it was winter, and he caught nothing. He then snagged it in a log.
He made three different ones
Aw snap, this should be fun!!
Zman makes micro 1/8 oz chatterbaits with tiny blades. They even have a 1/16 oz. flashback mini with an even tinier blade. It's a legit nano chatter from zman
Make a lure in the shape of your razor blade holder carving knife thing. The white one. It looks like a fish already.
The perfect goodnight for today, much love from italy ❤
I will never give up marling! Zebra pleco bait!! Please:)
your videos make me feel at home, Love the content always have, keep it up !!!
YES I LOVE IT!
Always fun to watch.
The crazy problem solving on “One Days” is the best 🤘🏽😆♥️
You should make an epic bait mold frog! Something with alot of action! You could call it a pray frog. Or maybe a wip frog???!! An injection mold frog would definitely be pretty awesome!

Wow! You just had one of my kind of days! Great content. TLF
you make the best lures
🐸approves of this bait.
Love your videos man those two baits at the end look slick
Small Colorado spinner blades work real well
Skills man! You've got'em! Better luck next time with the nano chatter bait. You'll get it figured out! 😃👍
Loved it still asking for an epoxy cup, bowl bait. Thanks Nate

Love the vids keep up the great bait making
should have used your belt sander to sand down the chatter lip
Nice en small thanks
You gotta redo it man. Great idea but you gotta achieve it! We will be waiting
I love these small baits so much. Couldn't click this notification fast enough.
I just love how he holds the reel pomel
It’s nano time!!!
Nano baits never fail, they just adapt. huhuhuhu oannne day ! :D
One day oficial 🤜🏾🤛🏾
10:06 😂😂. Then the Eye 👁 killed me lol.😂😂
Every single time you paint, there's always one decision that makes me gasp and think it clashes too much. But then, it always ends up looking better in the end. I guess this is why you make videos and I watch them lol

Polycarbonate works great. Hot Bite Spectre is a good example and smash Australian Bass.
Nano frog before it gets cold, keep it up man love every vid!
Try celekant or Latimeria, live fosil... Its something people would expect from you 🙂 Greetings from Serbia 🙂
Ooonnneee dayyyy!
Will we be having any more Aint Baitin' podcast videos? I really enjoyed them
You should make a lightning trout glide bait. That would be awesome.

It works in the sunlight because when it hits the Earth sunlight includes both IR and UV light!
I've wondered a few times why we don't have crappie bait sized chatterbaits, Marling Baits to the rescue
I’m so happy you said wh-hu-hu-hu-one day! On this video… defiantly made up for you hardly saying it at all last one day video 😂😂😂
There is no failure. Only a lesson learned.
Would love to see a Spanish Mackerel paint scheme some time I think that would look sick
A Pac-Man lure would be kind of cool. Also awesome video, love to see it!
Have you considered putting a GoPro in the test tank? The “fish perspective” would be cool plus it’ll reduce glare
I could never work with something that small I would get mad and through it across the room and lose it before it’s finished😂😂
Always happy when i get the notification 🔔
One day! I'll see that elusive Golden Trout.
😳😳😳You’re like the Bob Ross of bait making….I thought the paint was perfect…and all of a sudden, here comes Bob Ross, brush in hand, to paint a huge black, ….in this case, FOREST, right in the middle of our waterfall 🤣🤣🤣
Have you ever built a LED Light-up Lure???
You should try some spook type stuff that would be awesome
Ohhhh yeahhhh
Marabou, hair, feather all came to mind for making a tail.
Chip was living vicariously through you 😂 2:43
Great new camera! For shat that's worth.
It's always lead pot isn't hot, or it's too hot haha. Classic marling
Speaking of foil, I'd like to see you use some gold leaf or some other type of brush on metal. And then maybe paint some scales and accents over top of it so the foil shines through brightly.
He did a glide in full gold leaf. No detailed scales though
@nickkerr5714 man I've been a pretty avid viewer for years and I don't remember that one.
My mans has the Robots soundtrack playing as background music. Hell yeah
Whhhhhhhhun day ❤
A little bit late, but here I am.
We need a rainbow darter lure 🤘
Thumbs up if you agree 👍
You should get a fish tank and build a fishing lure ecosystem with your baits
Fortunately, the UV from that flashlight is a longer wavelength, so it doesn't cause cancer. Still not good for your eyes, though.
Very cool chatter bait. I was wondering if you could make a Vampire bat for Halloween and do fun facts on them. Thanks for the videos.
i bet you could have ground the metal down to the size you wanted.
please do a micro whopper plopped next!
thanks for the entertaining and educational contents.
you know what would be a cool idea? A lure making speedrun.
The ADHD spin was way too relatable 😂
I'd like to see an 80's neon theme paint scheme on one of the lures.
If you feel the indented side of your wire cutters with silicone and then cut them open when you cut small pieces of wire the silicone will hold it in place and it won't shoot across the room
New video 🎉🎉🎉
