Peter was always one of the best KISS fans I bought from,I started with one VHS tape in 1987, And over the years I collected a lot of great stuff,I still have all of the catalogs, Thank You Peter for everything.!!
Nice to see fine-ass Lisa back. I remember getting Peter Arquette catalogs way back in the day. The only other KISS dealer name I remember after Ike Riehl.
I would attend a KISS expo without a special guest meet and greet, too. Always fun to hang with other KISS fans. Peter has helped me add to my collection over the years, and was hoping to sell him the whole thing when I was ready. Thus, I was bummed to hear he was retiring, but also very happy for him! And after hearing him today, here’s to wishing all of us the ability to retire on our OWN terms.
Lol, I remember a woman broadcaster saying after the Tiger Stadium show in 96, that Gene credits the KISS popularity, being because most of their fans are guys and guys are just more loyal to their bands, which I actually believe is true, because most hard core music collectors that I ever knew were males and that's not a knock against women, it's just that men and women have different priorities or interests. Great show as usual, as I bought a ton of stuff from the KISS Museum back in the 90's and will check out the KISS Army Warehouse, as I'm still needing my KISS fix lol, which you guys and lovely lady talked about. Happy upcoming 4th of July, as we just had our Canada Day yesterday.
Was Mark referring to John and Karen Lesniewski? I remember seeing them on a show called: Personal FX....in the early 90s. The show interviewed and highlighted the couples' KISS collection .
Thumbs 👍 up from me!! AEROSMITH ALERT ⚠️ in the 41st minute!! 'In the 41st minute, people'!! 'Would you look at the time ⏲️'? AEROSMITH ARMY REJOICE!! This is your moment!! No Gene, no Paul, no Eric, no Tommy = No problem!! Forget the KISS 💋 Army, you won 🏆!! Blue Kool-Aid Drinker. Peace ✌️ out from the Southern Tip of Vancouver Island 🏝, B.C. Canada 🇨🇦.
I have to mention the Rothman center days were incredible in good times back when you meet up with all your best of friends and keep an old school kiss convention happening. Playing a couple of those with hotter than h*** with the best of times loved it
Bands are charging ridiculous ticket prices because people are willing to pay those prices. Want to see prices go down? Stop buying the tickets. I am down to a couple concerts per year, and that is smaller venue $30 to $50 ticket prices. I know prices on everything has gone up, but once again, if the majority of people refuse to spend the money I think we will see a change for the better. Worse case, the band can not afford to continue, but at least we still have money in the bank
The overall cost of going to a concert is ridiculous, but I’ll go see a band in a theater or casino where the service fee is maybe a couple of bucks. I’ve also put in requests for name bands to do a concert in the park (a year ahead of time when the park asked on FB who we wanted to see) and the town & county actually booked them! Some of these concerts in the park draw 10K.
I bought a lot of stuff from Peter going back to the 80s...always a positive experience until my last transaction when he rooked me for $200. Happy retirement PA, have a drink (or more) on me.
Was ordering from Peter in the mid 90s and known Steve for a long time... great friend...and absolutely love the Expos I've got to see Peter at in NJ... actually where I met Brandvold as well (ILK!!)...Met Lisa and Mark in Indy watched Steve's kids grow up year to year in Indy..my daughter and I consider the guy family for ,uh... Pete's sake.. Miss the Expos a lot. Became a family reunion every mothers day weekend...guests were awesome, but Steve and Keith could have just as easily had any extra from Phantom of the park and we still woulda been there!! Great episode... bringing back a lot of REALLY REALLY fond memories!
“There’s only one era.” “The KISS era.” Great quote.. Should be made into a shirt.

May I ask, what's the Sun get in the way reference when talking to Peter Criss at 1:07?

I wish I would've gotten my order, Pete! Glad PayPal refunded me after waiting for two months!
