My wife had one of those large Yeti tumblers that she tossed in the trash because the paint was peeling. I grabbed it, stripped it, and coated it the exact same way, but with Candy Teal, and Candy Raspberry, and of course the Silver Sparkle, because that just makes it look dope. Well, now she's mad at me because it's mine now.
I LOVE the idea of using a smoker. I don't have enough room for a full oven in my garage, but i think i could fit one of those somewhere just fine. Beautiful results on the powder coating, by the way!
Great work. I use a stand I made from a metal gang box and a piece of all tread. I put a ball of aluminum foil at the top of the all thread to stabilize it. I find I don’t get the rough edged on the rim. Just my .02! Keep it up!
Nice. Try some Harley Davidson orange and black. Maybe a bit of Goth black, purple, burgundy or darkened/shadowed teal or aquamarine. I'm more Halloween than Easter.
Awesome job! Did you have issues with spray getting on the inside of the cup, how do you mitigate that type of over spray? Also, can you powder coat clear over the top of the decal?
So......you have come back after all these years?but this video for me was made 9 months ago so you should post more! And your like really amazing, and lots of people love you!
Nice! The cup came out great. I hope you don't mind a couple questions. Does spraying on the foil like you did shelf and putting poth in the oven. Did the cup stick to the shelf covered with power coat or cause any issue? Very cool oven - what make is it?
Thanks 4 this video awesome 2 the point and NO BS a few question no sanding was required next you can over spray and then bake last is where do you get your powders. How does the harbor gun would it be good 4 starters again THANKS
I saw the door as he closed it for the clear sparkle. Looks similar to this one. Unless he got a larger version of it. www.homedepot.com/p/Smoke-Hollow-30-in-Electric-Smoker-with-Window-30162EW/206288940
How did u cover the bottom ? I dont see u apply any powder to it but in the end the is. 400 degrees arent a little much? tho I only know at most 220 temperature for the powder colors application's
Question after the first coat of cooked powder. Can you add vinyl do a second coat then remove vinyl so first coat shows thru then cook and it be a matte colored cup with glossy showing thru where vinyl was removed. Like a peek a boo cup?
janie trevino I don’t know how well the vinyl would hold up, but there are high temp silicone tapes you can get that I’m almost positive could go through a cricut, so what you’re thinking of should absolutely be possible.
How did you get the silver sparkle clear powder to adhere to the first coat? I seem to have a hard time with the powder not sticking to the cup after one coat. I use the same harbor freight powder coat system.
sorry stupid Question here :D °F or °C ? :D European here Haha :D if its F thats nothing ... about 200 °C which would be easy to do with an Oven from a Scrapyard :D great job i love the "fade" / "transition" between the colors
It is °F, I used the same harbour freight machine for some atv parts and baked it in a scrap oven, worked perfect. Dont eat out of oven again though. This guy did a really good job as well, I love those colors!
Need to have the special gun to spray the powder. It puts a positive charge on the powder and a negative charge on the object therefore making the powder attract to the cup and evenly cover the whole thing.
How durable is the powder coating when applied to a mug? I did the oracle vinyl thing...they didn't last a month. If powder coating has the durability needed to skinjob a mug, I'd try using the vinyl as a stencil for a powder coat layer and peel that shit off immediately. That vinyl stuff seems better suited for an old lady's scrapbook or the side of a plumbing repair truck. Humans will probably discover alien life outside our galaxy before creating a sticker durable enough to withstand the rigors of a mug's life.
I knew it, you're Rescue & Restore!!!!!!!
I knew it!!! that oven !!!

😂😂👍🏻
lovely
Lol you git.
Really miss your classic and antique toy restorations!
First time I have seen powder coating done. Not what I thought. Very educational. Thanks.
I LOVE the idea of using a smoker. I don't have enough room for a full oven in my garage, but i think i could fit one of those somewhere just fine. Beautiful results on the powder coating, by the way!
I’ve been powdercoating for 19 years and hve a 10x10x40 foot batch oven . I must say . This is very impressive
Great work. I use a stand I made from a metal gang box and a piece of all tread. I put a ball of aluminum foil at the top of the all thread to stabilize it. I find I don’t get the rough edged on the rim.
Just my .02! Keep it up!
This was satisfying to watch, Especially when the sticker came off in one hit haha
Oooh, I love the colors and sparkle on your cup!
YES. Another dude with a Cricut! I always felt like the only once since they are marketed to crafting women but they are great machines. Nice cup too
Could you please do more random coatings of things like hammers or saws. The process is so fun to watch !
Isso é verdade. É mesmo gratificante! ❤
The most perfect to the point video in years
Impossible, those stickers never come off in one piece.
Heat baby! He had a heat gun on it or put it in the oven for a spell. Heat works every time.

Love the demo, that sparkle clear definitely brought it all together 👍
Makes me want to powder coat every little part on my Moto. Looks so good
Awesome. Something about those colors that i enjoy. Reminds me of the 80s and early 90s beach stuff.
That's such an awesome cup!!! Would you ever make more and sell them?
That’s a StarBucks knockoff and it looks nicer to me!!! I freaking love it!!! I would love to see more videos of of stuff like this.
This was great video. I do all kinds of projects at home and THIS one seems like something I’d like to do at home for myself. Great video brutha.
Powder coating is a very fun and interesting job!
Wow! That was so cool how you peel that sticker off without it ripping
Never fade dark over light.
Man that sparkle is what's up!
I have a question about powder coating. Can you mix two different powders together, say to darken a certain color like you can in model paints?
Nice.
Try some Harley Davidson orange and black.
Maybe a bit of Goth black, purple, burgundy or darkened/shadowed teal or aquamarine.
I'm more Halloween than Easter.
Awesome 👍 the finish is amazing and the colour is really nice. great video mate 👍🏻
Great vid, I never thought to look up how to powder coat..
Can you make a video of all your set up for powder coating
Awesome finish I want to get into doing this to firearms and other applications looks great
That’s a hot color scheme.
Awesome job on the cup! Great video👍👍
That’s actually pretty awesome.
Awesome job. Why no add more video with painting ?
Faça mas vidios adorei sou aqui do Brasil e gosto muito dos seus vídeos 😊
Awesome job! Did you have issues with spray getting on the inside of the cup, how do you mitigate that type of over spray? Also, can you powder coat clear over the top of the decal?
Jacob Hornsby I wouldn’t think you can seeing how it’s gotta go in a 400° oven for 10 minutes. Would probably melt the glue on the decal
You can powder coat over a decal yes. You just have to lower temp down and a longer cure time.
The make a low temp cure that works great over vinyl.
im pretty sure you can sublimate on that and put a nice design
cool gotta love chicago electric!!
Oooh, shiny!
So......you have come back after all these years?but this video for me was made 9 months ago so you should post more!
And your like really amazing, and lots of people love you!
Amazing! Well done, sir!
Nice! The cup came out great. I hope you don't mind a couple questions.
Does spraying on the foil like you did shelf and putting poth in the oven. Did the cup stick to the shelf covered with power coat or cause any issue?
Very cool oven - what make is it?
That's a smoker. You can get them used in good condition for less than $75.
Love this great video. That cup came out amazing.
I would love to have that
Beautiful job!
Thanks 4 this video awesome 2 the point and NO BS a few question no sanding was required next you can over spray and then bake last is where do you get your powders. How does the harbor gun would it be good 4 starters again THANKS
So many steps for me to compromise and screw up! I'd love to see how my cup would have turned out!
Sweet cup!
I'm curious about the oven / smoker that is used here. Where to buy and do they come electric powered with the glass door?
That was really cool to watch
Nice job..good video!!
What meat smoker exactly did you use. I would like to get into this but I want to do it properly.
Thanks in advance. 👍
Nice 👍
This makes me want to actually buy something from Amazon.
Side Guy check out Easton powdercoating .com
Great video sir! What is the oven you used? Is it an electric smoker or something like that?
I saw the door as he closed it for the clear sparkle. Looks similar to this one. Unless he got a larger version of it. www.homedepot.com/p/Smoke-Hollow-30-in-Electric-Smoker-with-Window-30162EW/206288940
Very cool! Thanks for the video.
You’ve got good taste!! So what truly excites you? I’ ll wait😂
Cool stuff what kind of oven can you use
Dope and good vid !
How did u cover the bottom ? I dont see u apply any powder to it but in the end the is. 400 degrees arent a little much? tho I only know at most 220 temperature for the powder colors application's
Professional and up
What is out gassing?
Is that oven specific for that process or its main purpose is other?
Great video !! Thank You !

Looks great, nice setup.
So cool , I love it.
How did you get the silver sparkle clear powder to adhere to the first coat? I seem to have a hard time with the powder not sticking to the cup after one coat. I use the same harbor freight powder coat system.
Awesome!
Wow! Neato 😃
would you mind telling me what was used to create the sparkle on the cup...what type of powder was used on the very last coat? Thanks
Which meat smoker did u use? I would like to buy the same one for my projects
its right there in the video. smoke hollow.
That was amazing!!!
NicE!
I think color will pop ever more with white base coat...
Looks like the colors are translucent so u can get the metallic look to show thru the color.
sorry stupid Question here :D °F or °C ? :D European here Haha :D if its F thats nothing ... about 200 °C which would be easy to do with an Oven from a Scrapyard :D great job i love the "fade" / "transition" between the colors

@@jwlast-fo7bh Sure Thing with the eating xD thats why i Said one from the scrapyard because it wouldnt Matter :) have an good one o/
What's the name and model number of the machine used and also heat oven thanks
How much price that tool sir?
Spraygun, inverter, and powder coat?
Please reply mereka sir. Thank u 🙏
wow never seen that before
what size smoker is that and what heat elements did you use?
How hot does the electric smoker get up to?
I would’ve put the decal first then started coating it... in the end the logo turned out to be silver just like the cup
Do you have to have the gun thing or can you apply it by shaking it on ?? Your cup looks AMAZING!
Need to have the special gun to spray the powder. It puts a positive charge on the powder and a negative charge on the object therefore making the powder attract to the cup and evenly cover the whole thing.
This is so cool!
Did you have any issues with coating getting inside the cup from the gaps on the bottom ?
Would any cricut machine work or does it need to be that one you used?
Did u powder coat your cricut? I like that black and white cricut!
No its bought like that, as I have the same one.
Is there a difference if the oven is gas or electric?
What oven are you using?
almost perfect - setup, work and cut.
But .... aahhh ! there is a air bubble at the "B" ... ;)
I don’t see a logo
What model of electric smoke are u using by chance?
Yes this
How many times have you zapped yourself? I did it at least 10 times before I learned 😂
Are these cups dishwasher safe?
So if i used this i wouldn’t need to use epoxy?
Too good

😯 🤩🤩🤩 Perfect! 👍
What if you don't have a oven like that
This whole time I thought you were going to powder coat a sticker, I seriously need to lay off the eucalyptus leaves...
Ground that rack and you would use a quarter the powder
What oven is that?
