Hi Rusanda. Thank you for the great review! I am always interested in practice mutes and checked out many many mutes ;) The one I like most is a very cheap chinese practice mute made out of silicone (I think I read it somewhere). The sound is much darker than other practice mutes. It its only original with the "VIOLIN MUTE" sign on top of the mute... and yes- it is light and stable too
You can use the dual tone and the square in two ways - this is why they are called all rounders. One is on top of the bridge like you did, the second way is to push the mute against the bridge. For the dual tone simply push it up against the bridge instead of removing it from the base of your strings. For the square flip it backwards, you’ll see two slits on top of the square to have it stay on the strings and push it against the bridge. The top of the square should not touch the bridge, just the base and middle. They give a lighter muted sound this way. I have a Catrpilr, square, dual tone, and disc prizma. :)
Hi, which one do you think is better in preserving the original violin sound character? I wish to find a mute that lower down the volume but not change the sound too much. I do not need a very heavy mute, 10dB is good enough for not blowing my ear and neighbour away
Love to listen to you talk about your passion and love for the violin 😊 you're absolutely adorable, Rusanda ❤️
Lot of hard work behind this video
Love how you play, I love your sound and how you proyect even if is something short you always make it so beatifull

This is one instrument that I absolutely forgot how to play and I really regret not practicing so I wouldn't forget.

Can you make a video about your violin? It looks very beautiful!
A silly comment if I may, in my paper-thin walled Apartment, I would need a soaking wet blanket as a mute :) ... :/
one can not improve perfection

They look like sweets
I found the one mude with the pettern the best- its the quietest.😉😅✨
