Thank you for the giveaway of Violins in Ray Chen Channel. I immediately recognized when he said Kennedy violins. The little girl really deserved that violin. Hoping for more informative content for beginners like us. 🇳🇵
Ya, that little girl was do cute. Totally deserved to win! Thanks for following the channel. If you've got some ideas of videos that'd be helpful, let me know!
I've never seen a violin with 6 strings. 5 perhaps but not 6. However, if the string spacing is "normal" on the bridge, you will probably be able to fit many different mutes on your instrument regardless.
@@KennedyViolins I like the lower profile so I can see what I'm doing. I can even leave it on in the case. Also, it's pretty and sounds nice. It doesn't mute nearly as much as a big heavy metal mute, but I have a little pinafore thing that covers the f holes to block projection. When my viola is all dressed up for practice it's adorable. However I'm more serious about practicing than it looks.

Thanks! A practice mute came with a shoulder rest i ordered but had no idea what it was. I thought it was some kind of bridge guard lol.
Well, I suppose it can used as a bridge guard.... 🙃
Looks like a good idea. Quite right, sometimes you don't want to be heard too loudly!

I have all three The Artino really gags the beast!🤣
"gags the beast"... LOL!! 😂
What about violins that have 6 strings?

@@altolows7635 Interesting. They look super cool. I've never used them. Perhaps we should carry them in our store. Thanks for the info! 😃
