Really nice job in listing all of the parts and tools. I hope that you get sponsorship. You have a good channel! I am glad to see that you went to a road that was empty and waited for the road to clear before you did your test; well done!
I know Im asking randomly but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
Dude I feel like you are going to be right next to me in person when I attempt on my 2018 IM. Appreciate how detailed you are and step by step approach for this video. You are the man!!!
That may be true but unfortunately the options are very limited for the 2014+ models. Even if you were able to install the kit, you’d have to get a stand-alone ecu if you want to actually run a tune. A lot of time and money to sacrifice reliability. I think it’s better to stick with handling and cosmetic upgrades.
@@connorh2908 there is a kit and all that is true, but im sure the tune would be a medium pressure little risk to reliability. Its just one more step in maintaining due to adding a part, although I do see the concerns about extra pressure and heat being in the engine bay. I think the engine is good up to about 280 horsepower without being built. However the transmission is the big hold back part, unless you want to spend 5k on modifications for the cvt
For all who have a Corolla get injen cold air intake, borla exhaust, and pedal commander. Believe in me you'll be surprise the power it gives to the car💯
@@ownubadboy10 the exhaust and intake are just for sound, the pedal commander sharpens the throttle response which in turn also allows the transmission to downshift sooner so it does make it feel much faster, I have the pedal commander on my bone stock cobalt and it now drives much more sporty, I highly recommend the pedal commander for any car, it is legit a day and night difference.
This video was so helpful, the instructions added by Injen are straight cheeks. I would have not been able to do this, thank you so much for the tutorial!
This is hands down the best looking newer modified Corolla I have ever seen, it’s not my style but I definitely give this guy props for the effort that he has put into his car. If he swapped in a LS430 drivetrain it would be damn near perfect lol. Cool car bro and decent video. 👌🏻👍🏻😉

I been following you for a while now and I never subscribed assuming I did but anyways I'm impressed with your Corolla. I'm doing little by little my corolla to be like yours, of course with my own look but thank for posting I've learned a lot from yours!
I installed a K&N intake on my 2018 corolla, very different design. the filter head stays pointed up in the engine bay right where the stock filter was located, instead of going down into the bumper, I can see the bumper design getting more dirt into your engine honestly, its so much closer to the ground.
why do you have paddle shifters? great video, i already installed a cold air intake recently my honda accord se 2000, and love the new noise. Might do it for the corolla 2017 le eco.
Una pregunta. Cada cuanto tienes que darle mantenimiento y si tienes que haces todo ese proceso. Por que hay otros intake que no es necesario quitar el bumper
After you finished adding the intake and driven it a couple of miles did you ever get a check engine light or any light on the dashboard ?? I really want to buy one

If you want a few quick install tips. The bumper insert on the right remove that. Take out the battery and battery tray. You put filter and band in cavity waiting. Don't remove the bumper. You take off motor cover. You take out intake box. You have to pull up the throttle body. With sensor disconnected and air hose. You connect rubber hub to throttle body. 3/8 socket is usually the size of the bands. Hook up pipe around the battery and into the cavity. You hook up MAF sensor vacuum line. Then with you hand in the bumper knockout cavity maybe have someone hold the pipe so when you push upwards installing the filter. Once you have it installed move it check for rigidness. Then install motor cover battery tray and battery. If you have a few wires dangling use zip ties to secure. Put the insert back in when done. When you need to clean it you could keep it inside and rotate spray etc. If you want there's 4 clips you can undo and the filter comes out. Taking off the bumper is way too much work. Maybe I'll do a video on how to install.
9 seconds that's slow from 0 to 60. Should do a computer tune. Where the rpm takes in more air on the higher rpm. Did it for my 2017 Corolla. Able to run 0 to 60 in 6 seconds.
DoyenEmile well it is an economy car :3 Understand his excitement , he tested it before this mod and was doing almost 12 seconds(give or take) , so the 9seconds really is an improvement.
9 seconds is fast for a Corolla. Stock corollas only do 12 seconds in 0 to 60. No you are not probably doing 0 to 60 in 6 seconds. probably your car is already moving or you are not counting right. Cool 👍
Jonathan Matos you should post a video showing that. And I wouldn’t be surprised to be honest, if a person can change gears like a boss, then a slow car can be fast.
Can you install the cold air intake without removing the front bumper? I think I saw another installation on an older model where he just removed the left headlight and battery.

I'm wondering how the heck you get to the filter to clean it if you have to take the bumper off just to install it. I don't see an easy way to reach it once everything is reassembled.
