One of the best I’ve seen generally!! Love our missionaries!!! Gnarly backround music! 😂pretty groovy kinda like a tv game vibe. These young missionaries are hilarious at times. They are also right on point and full of The Spirit! Perfect! “ I come to your door cause you don’t answer” “ open the door” Yes open the door and open your heart and mind! Memories of my young self as a missionary! ❤❤❤
Literally stopped because i thought I recognized the doors of that building in the video.... That's the Honolulu Tabernacle, right? I served my mission there from '05-'07 under Pres. Hawkins. You guys are in one of the best missions in the world. Take full advantage of the time you have there! Much Aloha!

"young adult brains are pretty small" Love this! My son is getting ready to serve, and He's having a hard time backing the car up... We're all just still growing up.
Tell him to stay away from hard core Christians who knows what the Bible really teaches otherwise he will be running away crying once we bring out all the contradictions that your book and doctrines make against the Bible.
@@AshrafIssaTravels I don't think he'll have a problem. I didn't I went on my mission to people "Who knows what the Bible really teaches". They didn't. They though they did.
You should check out David Alexander. A "hard core Christian" that was converted to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. (on youtube)

We don't swim because of a revelation in the D&C where the Devil was seen riding on the water, and he's given power over such in this day (no missionary drowning, please) And yes, we get paid. Nothing monetary. Yet, do you know that feeling of Joy that comes when the Spirit is right there helping? What better payment is there than knowing our Lord more closely? (service missionary, I'll be back in September) You younger Elders and Sisters carry the spirit with you.
That actually is not the reason, it is just one of those "Mormon Myths" there has never been any leadership in the church stating that. The simple reason is to avoid temptation, and accidents. That part is stated in church manuals

I was approached by missionaries some time ago, at the beginning I thought they were really interested in helping for the sake of helping, but eventually they told me in order to get help and join BYU for free I need to convert! But unfortunately I'm not convinced with religion. Is this normal do people have to convert in order to get help?
I would need to learn more about your specific story to make a call on this one.
No. For the most part ask any mormon for some everyday help and theyll most likely do what they can. the reason they said you might need to convert is because BYU is not a normal college. On top of college classes, there is also mormon practices that go on, as well as mormon rules and standards. And If you were to go in non mormon, you most likely wouldn't enjoy your time there. Also just want to say it's not free for mormons either, they still got to pay quite a bit of money, they just get some money benefits. Hope that helps ij some way. You could go to a different college and you'll be just fine 🙂

What's kind of bad about sending missionaries out at 19 they haven't had much life experience yet. and then they want to come out and tell you how to live when they are still brand new to the living

We used the Bible and Book of Mormon.
This whole year during our Sunday School, seminary, and home study we have been studying the New Testament.
Last year it was the Old Testament.
The word of God is the word of God.
We may speak more of the Book of Mormon when proselyting because people haven't heard of the Book of Mormon before.

Soon as I saw that I was done with LDS
LDS IS MOSTLY ABOUT THE BOM AND JOSEPH SMITH
And THEN the Bible is included
But in the BEGINNING was the word!
The BOM was NOT IN THE BEGINNING
anyone who follows teachings outside of the word of God, is an ANTI CHRIST

AND HIS WORD IS THE LAW

This children are not biblically literate.
That is untrue. One of the focuses in The Church of Jesus Christ is to teach our children the teaching's of Christ through the Bible and the Book of Mormon. We call the book of Mormon another Testament of Jesus Christ because it is meant to add to the Bible. Not Replace it. The Church of Jesus Christ is centered on Christ and family. And one of our main focuses is teaching our children in the home from a young age the teachings of Christ and helping them find and build their own testimony of Jesus Christ. Serving a mission is not only about teach but also serving others

as an ex mormon (I still respect the church) I can confirm this is entirely false. Many people (non-members) loved and respected me as a missionary in Colorado .
