ADDING AUDIO TO ANKI FLASHCARDS - EASY HOW-TO (very useful for sentence mining)

In this video I will show you a very easy way of adding audio to anki flashcards, which is very useful if you're sentence mining and would like to listen to the original audio while studying later. All you need to do is record that sentence with OBS and then edit the audio in Audacity. I'll how you how to convert it in the video.

Well this is annoying but I believe we can fix this :)
I suspect the problem is that you do not have FFmpeg libraries installed. In Audacity go to Edit -> Preferences -> Libraries and then download it (or you can google for a tutorial if that's more comfortable). This should allow you to drop MP4 files directly into audacity (without needing to change the file extension). Please let me know if this fixes the problem :)

theres anki addons that do this for you, very inefficient

I'm sure there are :) I've found that the card sticks with me better if I spend more time on it and give it a little bit more love. This also ensures that I don't bite off more than I can chew. But if addons work for you just fine, more power to you.
