Jeff utilised heavy use of the accent function on his 909. It is known. My friend and I got to see his patterns on a 909 he used live back in the 90s. It's why I love GLOBAL accent. Not accent per track. I really wish the Rytm could do this.

having the OG Digitakt and a Digitone, a Roland Tr-8 and a volca kick... an M-32, and a DFAM... I look at the RYTM MK2 + Oxi One and see how life and enjoyment could be so much simpler.
I respect the opinion of how a lot pf his music is bad, and i know exactly what ur talking ab, the weird cosmic jazz style, i dont like it but his tech stuff is massive even the more avant garde stuff
I wish I remembered exactly haha. But given my most recent workflow it’s probably a sample that I found somewhere that I chopped / FXed up into something completely different to fit the groove!
Can't wait the one with the Digitakt 2. Every time I see a video with oxi1 I try to find reasons to buy it, but my Elektron machines don t need that. I thought it would be nice for my poly rev2 but stil, it gets midi from MPC ONE, and on top of that reigns the best midi controller on the market, Ableton, but hey, who knows, maybe next time
He’s been through many many iterations- pretty much all his techno stuff I absolutely love! The jazzy / more recent sound track ey sounding stuff I’m just not that into! Also bro- you can anonymously insult my music as much as you’d like- nothing compares to the criticism I hear in my own head lol
Nothing personal against anyone. My POV from listening to Mills and “watching” live? Didn’t learn a thing. 3 OT a cdj and turntable said techno DJ. Hardly any atmosphere or variety and I was “Next!“
