Hey legends! This fish knife restoration was a challenge in many ways. Sometimes the knife is in terrible condition and it is not certain that the restoration will go smooth. This is an example of that. As a result, fish knife is in better shape than before for sure, but still in rough shape. That is reality, unfortunately. I hope you legends have enjoyed in this restoration video and see you around next week! Warmest regards, Boris @FindFixDonate
Shocking my friend how people can do that to knives but the👍👏👍way that you workt with it my friend amazing out come sir fantastic👍👍job keep the faith my friend👏👏😁
Awesome job man once again I love the fact that you do it all by hand and I agree I work with deer antler and Bone all the time that smell is awful I hope you will wearing mask protection when that stuff was sanded and I love the fact that you use the dust from the handles to fill in the holes that were in the handle great job impressive and were you able to find out how old that thing is does judging by the look of it it does look pretty old even after it's cleaned up
Hey Tristan 👋😊 Thanks a lot buddy, many kind words from you. I will keep looking for more information about the knife. Hopefully I will dig out something 🤞 Appreciate watching and advice for the mask 😄👍
Does look like an old fish filet knife. I use a new one made by Rapal and it is very similar in blade design. Deer antler is some extremely hard stuff to work with. Hard as a rock and yes, it does stink when sanding and cutting it. But fear not, the deer drops them off every spring and starts immediately growing new ones. Thumbs Up!
Yeah, definitely looks like one, it is a bit rigid in my opinion as a filleting knife but who knows. Maybe in earlier days they used it like so. Is it weird combo deer antler for fish knife 🤔? Thanks for watching Gary! Regards Boris
Great!!! 🤠👍 This hand grinder, were you the one who made it or bought it already? If you built it, do you have a video teaching you how to make one of these?
Thanks Lutero 👍 I bought it and restored it. You can see more details in my hand cranked grinder restoration video ua-cam.com/video/lFWdfTML6s8/v-deo.html They can be tricky to find, but I wish you best of luck!

The knife came out looking great, I think the patina on the blade gives it character now. Excellent job.

@@FFD_Restorations yeah cuz at first I didn't use a mask but then turned out I had gotten a respiratory infection from not wearing one
Even if you can't get an actual mask use an old t-shirt or something like that
Masterfully done, it’s a pleasure to watch your videos.
Wishing you lots of good restorations in the new year and thank you fir putting them together.
Many thanks! Happy holidays!
