EXCELLENT VIDEO... EXCELLENT ADVICE! I am an animal rehabilitator and this treatment is extremely effective, low cost, and nontoxic/gentle on the fur babies and humans. I make a batch in the morning and put it in a spray bottle. I also follow the treatment with some coconut or olive oil to soothe any irritated/damaged skin. The oil also speeds up the death of the mites. 🥰🥰🥰

YO I just wanted to check in at about two months of this procedure...
Within a few days the hair started to regrow. she had a bald spot the size of a sugar baby watermelon and now one would never know. Make sure you follow the instructions and stick to the schedule!!! Good luck dog lovers!

Encouraging to hear that this helped! I'm going to try it on my little 6 month old too. Could you tell me if you have to bathe your dog pre-applying to the borax solution each time? the problem is he's terrified of baths so the first week - bathing him everyday sounds troubling :D

Great video! Thank you so much. I recently found a puppy, about 4 months old, and he was skin and bones (starved) and literally covered in mange. His skin is extremely damaged. I have given him one Bravecto tablet, which is used off-label for killing both types of mange. It's been a little over a week since he was given the Bravecto, and he is improving, but slowly. I am going to bathe him and give him the Borax and Hydrogen peroxide rinse and see if that helps accelerate his healing. I believe it will. Plus, to strengthen his immune system, I'm also feeding him Dr. Marty's dog food along with a multi-vitamin every day.

Ok, I am back after 2 weeks. After bathing and using this solution, the itching seemed to stop. I did use leftover solution to clean wound for several days,, as long as it bubbles it is working, then I applied some "TRIPLE ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT" several times a day. After solution ran out I just used peroxide to clean and then apply the ointment several times a day. I knew it was working but boy this has been some mean stuff and you have had to stay on top of it, today the wound FINALLY is closed... this was only one spot about the size of a silver dollar, SO THIS BORAX SOLUTION, WORKS, just be consistent, I think the ointment helps relieve some of the dryness and helps with healing too..So, now waiting for hair to grow back...THANK YOU SO MUCH and PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME, YESHUA/JESUS...

Just used this mix on a stray kitty that has some mange/skin issues ... instead of dipping, I mixed a smaller batch in a bowl and dipped a washcloth, then wiped the kitty down with the wet cloth. I followed this up by massaging a thin layer of coconut oil on the more irritated red areas. Only 1 day later and the inflamed areas already look better! Will continue the protocol until he's completely healed but the immediate relief of the previously irritated skin is absolutely evident.

My dog has not been diagnosed with mange, but I am pretty sure, after several days of itching and chewing on her hip I found there is a red scabby spot about the size of a half dollar! I ran right out and bought the borax and Peroxide. Bathed her, shaved her and used the solution, let it dry and covered it in OLIVE OIL. That was day before yesterday, today i noticed the red open scabby scales are gone and she has stopped chewing on it. I washed it off and used more solution and olive oil. Will come back when I see more results, but so far LOOKING GOOD THANK YOU FOR THE INFO.

My Rescue dog has had a skin condition where much of his hair has fallen out on the underside of his body and around the eyes. His skin turned a crusty blackish/grey color with the hair gone. He tested negative for mange and no Vet could figure out what he has. I have been doing this treatment for two months now, and I see pink skin coming through in areas where he had the black scaly skin. He has a ways to go yet, but it seems this treatment is working. I have my fingers crossed that it will cure him of this terrible skin condition. Thanks.

Can cut the mixture in half when the solution is applied with a spray bottle. I treated 2 medium sized dogs with the solution made as directed and there was a third left over. Treated my "nieces" this afternoon. Both bolted out the tub once regular bath was done. They like to be dried off immediately. Surprisingly they both remained still as I misted and rubbed in the solution like they were happy to get a bonus spa treatment. They do not have mange but sometimes take with itchy fits. Will try to remember to update on results in a month.
UPDATE: the solution did stop the itching. My sister had to resume their expensive allergy pills. I felt it helped with oder suppression. The solution did not make their coat tacky. They were very soft.

So for the initial treatment do you bathe the dog everytime or just apply the solution? Please clarify that's the only point I'm not clear on. Thank you so much! this mange has been a royal pain in the butt to get under control. We recently have been using a pour on of Ivermectin but I like this one a lot and have all the ingredients (low cost compared to the vet that, by the way, has NOT worked).

Just to let you know, a greyhound breeder recommended "Vicks vapour rub" on the back of my dog, I was desperate and tried it. One week later the sores cleared up and it appeared as if everything was hunky dory but it only moved the trouble spots to an area not treated. Now the trouble spots have moved to his hind legs and tail ... and I am constantly brushing the tail and gently wiping legs with a clean rag. It seems to alleviate the itching somewhat, but it won't clear up completely. I am so glad I have watched this video and will go to Chemist to see if I can get the necessary products. Am a bit worried about the measure of 3% and may have to ask for a measuring cup ... or something.

I completely understand what you are going through....
Let me share with you what i have learned.....
Its a long long story so heres the condensed version.....
I have been trying to help my sweet Aussie for 5 years.
Probably parasites your dealing with but not normal ones.
You have to treat the whole body, Inside and out. I became suspicious about what these were and shoukd have a degree in studies by now but i digress. The vets have never shot straight, everyone of them say "environmental allergies" is always the answer along with some new medication that doesn't even work. Its been a long journey and a hard road but i recently stummbled upon a rabbit trail that led me to what i think will be an answer. Did you know you should deworm your dog twice a year? I didn't and none of the vets i took her to ever did a parasite test even though i was forceful on what i knew these were. Look up PANACUR C . TGE ACTIVE INGREDIENT IS FENBENDOZOL.
THERE IS A VIDEO ABOUT CURING STAGE 5 CANCER WHICH MUST MEAN ITS PARASITIC IN NATURE....
im going back to the borax bathes until mine comes in but im hopeful for my sweet girl. I wont waste your time telling you the scores of things ive tried to no avail. I have a pretty big cabinet full of good things that just didnt work for my dog.
Has your home ever been flooded?
I live on the coast and we knew our house had been flooded as its 60 years old. There are parasites small enough that you really wouldn't notice them until they grew and even then they dont look normal. They may seem dead but they are not. Anyway, i am saying a prayer for you and your pup.

I use coconut oil. It instantly takes all the scabs/scaly skin off. I’ll use a medium stiffness brush to brush it, the dog seems to love it as it’s probably scratching the itch, especially on her head where she can’t reach. It’s been about 3 days and I’m already seeing results. I’m gonna try this today and since it’s every other day on the days in between in going to use the coconut oil. I’m just worried this is going to dry out her skin so maybe I will use in with the coconut oil, I’ll decide after I wash her and dry her out with the borax/peroxide mix. If it looks dry I’m going to add the coconut oil. The vet gave me a spray specifically for mange and after a week it looked like it was getting worst. The minute I added the coconut oil I could tell not only did she feel better but it looked better. I feel so bad. Her skin is so dried out with a bunch of bumps that pop and get bloody when I even brush her too hard. She looks so bad I didn’t even want anyone to see her buy only 3 days on the coconut oil made a world of difference

I am going to start this regiment today on my French Bulldog. He has a couple large areas of hair loss, plus several spots where the hair tufts up, if I dig at it the hair comes, and there is a kind of crunchy yellowish crust around the hair loss. I used a toothbrush, fingernails, and some of this mixer to clear all the little areas. Then I bathed him, and let this solution dry on him. Once dry, I'll apply olive oil, and before bed Neosporin on them. I'll repeat per this schedule. I also vacuumed, washed all of his blankets and mine, and threw away his beds, and bought new ones for once he's better. I'll keep you posted on his progress!

@@earthclinic Sure! So to get the mange off was tough, I literally had to scratch it all off with my fingernails because it's sticky yellow and crusty. I found all the small black tufts of hair that stood up, pulling off the tuft of hair to expose the red sores beneath them, and then scratching off all the crusty hair around it. Especially critical is the tail bone, I lifted it up to find red swollen area surrounded by the typical yellowish sticky crust. Also critical are the ears, you see areas that look like cauliflower inside, and little bite marks. These, and the area's of hair loss, I cleaned thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, making sure to pull off ALL yellowish crustiness around these areas. Next came the Borax and hydrogen peroxide baths every other day, letting it dry rather than toweling off. After about the first second bath I decided to go to the Vet to get a scraping. Only problem is, I cleaned the areas so well that it came back negative for either kind of mange, however, they gave me an anti-biotic. Not sure exactly for what?? The following week I continued to clean off any and all areas of patchy fur that popped up, prior to giving him a bath. After 2 weeks, it seemed to be pretty much clearing up, although now I check all his "hot spots" daily, clean the tracks of his eyes and apply anti-biotic ointment to them and the inside of his ears if they appear redder than pink, and I do the same with his tailbone area. Now a month later, there are no new areas, and the old ones are growing hair again. I took videos of all of this, unfortunately I'm no video editor, or I would have posted it to YT and still may!

I'm so happy I found this video. We also have a French Bulldog and she would get those nasty pussy scabs all over her and we tried everything and took her to the vets so many times and nothing seemed to help, but after watching this video and following the instructions they started to go away almost instantly, and our little Frenchie (also named Emmie) started to return to her loving playful self after the first treatment. It was amazing, her hair also started to grow back within a few days and after a couple of weeks those nasty scabs we're gone. We've spent so much money on trips to the vets and we couldn't believe they couldn't cure the problem. It seemed like we were out of options, but thankfully we found this video. Now we know exactly what to do about it and we don't have to see our poor little Frenchie miserable and not knowing what to do about it. Thank you very very much. ♥️

Can someone explain the reason behind each ingredient? Also, Hydrogen peroxide is highly damaging to the skin. Does the Borax somehow "buffer" the hydrogen peroxide? Or is the dilution to 1% enough to not cause damage top the skin?

My dogs, one being a very picky eater, absolutely loves Dr. Marty's dog food. My picky eater dog, will actually pick through his dry dog bits, and spit out all the bits that are not the Dr. Marty's bits. He loves Dr. Marty's whether dry or hydrated with water. Thank you, Dr. Marty!

I have an American pitbull terrier and got hives about 2 months ago. I have tried changing his food and also have tried many products like medicated shampoos / sprays including medicated lotion. I have been using coconut oil too. The hives come and go and I feel frustrated that I can’t find out exactly what’s causing him to break out in hives . I hope this helps out my 6 month puppy. Today was the first time. I’ll come back and share the results, thanks for informative video.

Iv used this treatment for my dogs
second round and it seems to be spreading in other part of his body does any one know if this is normal? My dog is a small chihuahua breed is it the same measurement for a small dog? Does any one know?, today is our 4th treatment and it seems better, he isn't scratching or itchy, and his skin is nice and dry!! So far so good!! Iam grateful!! I also tried a homeothaic method of green tea, and safe essential oils that are safe to use on a dog when diluted in the green tea and its been helping with the itching too!! So helpful!! 🙏🙏

Hi Art. Yes, some of our readers have used Ted's mange formula in a spray bottle, especially for animals with mange that cannot be bathed. One of our contributors, Mama to Many, mentioned that her son tried spraying one of their goats with mange, but the spray bottle got clogged early on.
Another concern with the spray bottle on dry skin is not getting the solution deep enough to the skin or saturated enough. If a full bath were not an option, perhaps a washcloth saturated with the solution might be an option.

I suggest adding the hydrogen peroxide just BEFORE you use it, otherwise it will just bubble up while it sits weakening its effect.
