When I found your channel you had 300 subscribers and were kind of timid, now a huge channel and your abilities have improved massively…..Congratulations. God bless you and your family.
The more you explain the new feeding system the more it seems that you will save quite a bit with less waste and more efficiency. This video was not scattered in my eyes, it took us on a variety of chores and was really interesting. Have a great weekend. Thanks.
Closing a meaningful field trip, each step is another time to learn and appreciate. These precious experiences and moments will be valuable luggage for the upcoming journey. A journey ends, opening a new beginning!
Love this channel and all the content! You and all the family owned farms are the backbone of our society! It makes me very happy and hopeful for our future to see you progress so much using available technology but maintaining the centuries old work ethic which made and makes our country so prosperous! Keep it up young man, as your father did/does and as your ancestors did! We are all thankful for you and for the generations before you!!
Eric have a great much needed weekend off !! Your the hardest farmer I ever seen on u tube Love the robots nice you can have more time to get other things done and not have to worry about feeding time I'm voting you & your dad #1 dairy farmers on UA-cam Job well done And thanks for the great videos. It's really love your Cows
Love looking at the land all around you, just beautiful. All we see are mountains. I live in the city so I don't get to see the stars any more due to all the lights. Have a good day.❤❤❤
I love the fact that you Direct Drill all your crops Eric. Do you have any Earthworms in your fields, because of this? Also, do you EVER stop working?? Blessings from Australia.....
Hi Eric, I can see how the new system gives you and your dad more time for other work on the farm. Once you get the system loading down to a science and the bugs worked out things will be great.
I can see what you're saying about loading the grain bin with the auger, a little bit of work and time. The process is looking like all is working fairly well. Have a fun time on your vacations, please be safe!
My opinion on your drill is total rebuild it this winter. You like it, and it does a good job. Also planting more spring forage. New would be very costly.
Take a look at a gin pole attachment for your skid steer. That’ll give you the reach you need to load your drill from the bottom hole of those totes. 😉
That feeding system is making your life so much simpler without having to stop and do feeding morning and evening. I know you have a tremendous investment with everything, but the return looks to be immediate!!
I love all your videos but this one in particular I enjoyed a lot. Thank you for sharing with us those interesting things you do as part of your daily routine. I think for those of us who live in the city, what you might consider simple or monotonous is quite intriguing. I'm so thankful you take the time to edit these videos and share your days with us.
Going to miss seeing you feed the heifers and cows . Robots doing seem to be doing better. Maybe this will help out so you can keep busy planting , and harvesting and spraying fertilizer . Good video Eric.
I have owned several makes of grain drills. But I have only owned two types of no tills. My first one was a Great Plains. It was a great drill but only 15’ wide. The one we have now is a sunflower. That is the best drill I have ever had. It is 30’ wide and has a better metering system. I have owned an old JD drill years ago. It was a good drill, but never owned a JD no till.
Rebuilding your 750 drill will be several thousand in parts to rebuild it properly. I would get a price for parts but it may be worth looking into updating to a 1590 drill
Getting into that gravity wagon with your shovel really gave me the Heebee Geebees! You guys be careful. I have seen what getting caught in one of those can result in.😮
I was wondering if you had your beans toasted. That might be an interesting video in itself. Lot’s of treats and pats on the head for the big boss Gracie 🐶😁
Them baled bean stalks would be a great treat for your dry cows. Tip them bales on end Take molasses and some hot water and pour in the ends. What they waste is good bedding.
If you plant hemp to clean up heavy metals you can run a screw press feeding high protein cake into the ration and bio diesel into tanks. That is one top tier efficent labor saving while pushing up feed, system. Labor, shrink, theft by birds, mice. Edison Motors utube bc canada sells ev hybrid kits and new trucks. Parked you can also sell kwh peak 250 per hr. Edison is also a solar roof battery generator training facilitator.
On the drill, i would contact the local dealer since most have a maintenance guide that is adjusted for common problems found on different machines. They should be able to give you a detailed list of what and when to replace so it doesnt all hit at once.
Eric, I think you might want to consider keeping your old mixer. You may need it as a backup at some point unless you have alternate backup plans if robots quit working. Do you have back up plans?
You can try to saw the middle out of a pallet and put the seed tote on there, that way you can lift it up from the bottom with the skidsteer and open it from the middle of the pallet. This should give you more reach. Have seen a few farmers do it this way.
If your smart you'll keep the mixer to see how you robo feeders work during the winter. You guy's have had a few easy winters lately. Where north of you in ny. Wait til we get an old fashion winter. True test. Have a good one everyone
Is there a plan for keeping the outdoor paths of the feeding robots free from ice and snow? For one of the 'bots to "go rogue" and depart the paved pathway and overturn would be a Bad Thing.
We used all our soybean straw for dairy bedding, young calves to the milk cows in free stalls. Grew extra acres of beans just for the straw. Chopped it with Gehl harvesters using a 2 inch screen and elevated it into storage shed. It was like using sawdust/shavings mixture.(you don’t blow soybean straw 🔥!!!!!!!!) 👨🏻🦳 🐄🐄 🚜
Look for an old grinder/mixer. U can disengage the hammers and use the mixer with the unload auger to fill ur drill. We do it and we can fit 2 bulkbags in there and then fill the drill in less than 3mins.
Hi mate. Great channel! Some forklifts you can slide the “forks” on upside down gaining 2ft. Might be enough to lift those bags of seed higher for unloading??? Cheers
Hello from Indiana, I was wondering that are you guys doing or thinking about using drones for spray your crops. It starting to be a big trend with farmers now

“About as Questionable as they come” 😂❤
I had to bump the video back a titch and listen to that again to make sure that I heard what I thought I heard! 😂
Robot doesn’t seem to mind waiting 😂. Looking good 👍
Those are the cleanest beans I have ever seen come out of a combine.
Love looking at the land all around you, just beautiful. All we see are mountains. I live in the city so I don't get to see the stars any more due to all the lights. Have a good day.❤❤❤
Hello Eric! Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thanks much for posting.
Nice edit. Thanks for sharing.

You’re got great neighbors
@carynix8043 “You have great neighbors.” Did you graduate High School?
Had to re-watch from 2:25 a few times, rather mesmerising.
I love the fact that you Direct Drill all your crops Eric.

Kind of crazy to see the commodity barn stalls getting emptied out. Hope you have a nice weekend away, Eric!

Very nice video keep up the awesome work you do with your family and crew.
Oh man ... I was craving for new video.. thank you my boy.
I always enjoy watching your videos!
15k should get that drill rebuilt. Nice winter wrenching project
Wow you guys actually fill your drill with bags, just like we did in the 50's and 60's, nice!
Getting into that gravity wagon with your shovel really gave me the Heebee Geebees! You guys be careful. I have seen what getting caught in one of those can result in.😮
You can't really suffocate in 8" of grain. Lol
Another nice video. Lots of improvements and nice to convert feeding to bots. Well done guys.
You and your Dad sure are busy jumping from one job to the next. Hope you have a great couple days away from the farm.

My dad toted a lot of bags of seed and fertilizer to the planter from the back of the pickup truck.
Got to be efficient ❤🎉😊 really excited to see the results!
Great comments. Thanks
I love how the community helps everyone out. Sad to see this leaving much of the world.
Enjoy your weekend
Great video Erik. Have a great weekend and stay safe
Enjoyed this

A lot of the deere drills have a fill auger that bolts right too it so it is always there!
Nice stuff. Have a good time away

ERIC THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
Larson farms had a fire as well I thought it was the same fire but glad you all OK 😊
Excellent video
The neighbors house has at least 2 massive additions over the years it looks like
Awesome video Eric. 🚜🚜🚜
good good very good eductional
another great video

Or until AFTER the election.
@@NonTypicalRacing hmm, genuinely curious. How does the election figure into this?
Pretty impressive how you transformed that farm. 🎉
Well. Back to fine-tuning the
Bovine Butnudder wash bay 2025.
I love the longer videos
Fell asleep half way through. Not sure what that means? Think it means I'm getting old and not a good idea to stop in one spot for too long. 🤣
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🐄 Man!!!

Cool beans...from a city girl.
When you took the 4240 off the mixer you said it was pretty worn out. Ever since that it sure has come to the rescue several times.
You should get fork extensions for your forklift so you can use the center spout to unload the seeds.
I usually wait for a month or two then watch all the videos i haven’t seen but here lately the content has been prime
Great video
I think that's the first time I've ever heard that little dog bark
You better keep your mixer for the First Year because it’s hard to Handle feed all those Cows!
If your smart you'll keep the mixer to see how you robo feeders work during the winter. You guy's have had a few easy winters lately. Where north of you in ny. Wait til we get an old fashion winter. True test. Have a good one everyone
Great video brother from the imperial county ca 🇺🇲🤖🤖🤖🤖🤖
Did I see a scratch on #1 robot? Always a good watch thank you!
Hope you find a few Clover Dairy chocolate milks on your weekend off Eric! Thank y'all for 🐄🐄💩🐄💩🐄 farmin', 🚜🔧⚙️🔩🛠🪛fixin' and 🍶🍼🥛🍦 feedin' 🇺🇲 !!👀

too too video again .awesome family farm
Do you test your beans for protein before you store them or just get random beans back
Get a crane pole attachment for ur skid steer to load seed bags. Can reach anywhere u want!
We used all our soybean straw for dairy bedding, young calves to the milk cows in free stalls. Grew extra acres of beans just for the straw. I would definitely keep a non robotic mixer on hand as a backup
