Thumbs up. As a Canadian, who also has an Italian passport and a house in Italy, I can say that I really appreciate this sort of content. Simple, fun, and real. We all end up at the Fai da Te or the Euronics, the cantine or frantoi, and it is always an adventure. I'm back to Italy in a few months, and this is a great way to start my immersion. ATB, and subscribed.
Thank you so much. We really appreciate the feedback. It’s this type of feedback that inspires us to show glimpses in to our daily life of getting things done. We plan to be back in April. Safe travels!
@@cerchiamo You're welcome. There are too many Italian property videos that are glib, dramatic and ultimately phoney, and I can see that your experience and content is genuine. I know, as I've been there. Even so, it is really good to see the real experiences of us straineri in Italy. Many thanks.
Yes, I'm guessing a lot of people don't know Italians don't use ice. Everything is refrigeration and only occasionally for some those freeze packs you saw.
Thank you for watching and sharing. Is did not realize that u til my cousin came to visit in south Florida. He was amazed by the bags of ice at the gas station. He even took a picture of the machine. When my Italian family travels to bring the ice packs for cheese😀
We bought a refrigerator and an espresso machine at the very same Trony this fall! They were very nice there. Now we just have to find time to get back to Abruzzo!
As a floridian living part time near to ortona i appreciate all your videos. For tv i use a lte router with a very sim in it. Not perfect but works well for what i need. So long as you refill it at least every 6 months it does not expire
Thank you so much for the feedback. He thought about going that rout. Since are time there is only spent on short holidays, it has served out purpose using the plans in our phones. We are looking for the day that we can spend months at a time in Italy to set up a more permanent solution. 😀 Thank you for watching!
Quite interesting video, thx! Great to see the extra time spent at the store to ensure everything was complete with your TV purchase, and that it worked! Seems like another excellent example of the positive aspects of the overall cultural lack of frantic hurry…and ubiquitous showing of *care*. Also good to know about the paperwork and purchase history/ warranty tracking not being automatic. Best Wishes, as always!!!
Thank you for watching. We appreciate the feedback. It the normal life routines that we are finding interesting to share. It’s feedback like this that inspires us to keep sharing. Thanks!
As regards WiFi, there are many organizations in Italy that provide the service where the wired line (cable or optical fiber) does not reach. I have a house in the mountains (Eastern Alps) and I am served by a company called Eolo. The cost is approximately €40 per month. The operation does not have comparable speed with fiber (which I have in my house in the city) but it is good nonetheless. You could find out more about your area if you're interested.
Thank you for watching and the advice. We have not explored internet service yet although we know it is available. We have only been spending short periods of time there until I retire. In the near future we plan to have it sorted…😀
Yes. Eolo is good. I have just had Internet installed in the Tuscan countryside. Just go on their site and you can test to see if they cover your house.
Thank you. We have not explored an internet sever yet because we are only there for short periods of time. When I retire in a few years we will look into more permanent solutions.
Thanks for watching! They do deliver to our home. We went to the store because we wanted to see available. We weren’t sure exactly what we were going to get. We do get other home items delivered. It’s great because our US account links to our Italian account.
Real world issue solved. My kind of episode. hehehehe. Thanks. :)
Thanks for watching. Sometimes it’s fun to go out prepared to record and see what happens 😀

Is Amazon in Italy delivering to homes or do you have to go to a pick-up point. I'm curious as to why you went to the store instead of ordering.
