When I couldn’t find any bagged decaf coffee there, I was so dejected. I have been a member for over 34 years. I usually buy their bagged salads as they are usually the cheapest, but don’t know now. Cucs, tomatoes, peaches ,pairs and green beans are easy to pickle and or water bath can. Give it a try. Refrigerator pickles are a good beginner project.

Heard on WLW this morning that Costco is charging its rules again. Something along the lines of you can't bring a friend along to use your membership. And you must have photo i.d. too. If it isn't on your membership card, then you have to show an i.d. with your photo. Then have your membership card redone with your photo before you can shop.
I just got a membership and they put my picture on the card. Is that a new thing? I was hoping to take my MIL along to help me with the kids AND hoping she could pitch in some and we could split the groceries because I do not need 24 eggs or 1 and 1/2 gallons of milk, or 3 containers of OJ or 2 boxes of rasinbran or 6 lbs of chicken etc but would like to pay the price they charge for these things haha. $8 for 24 organic eggs is a steal..
@pjnewton1014 , as long as you ring everything up together in your cart, your scenario of having MIL with you and sharing the groceries should be fine. You just "settle up" with MIL later. They can't prevent that.
the in store bakery items are probably not an employee issue but a warehouse issue. I work for walmart. For our bakery, it's not an employee issue. It's a warehouse issue. The warehouse may be out of the items. Leaving that item empty on the salesfloor.
The thing with the cereals though is those prices are the same ones on smaller boxes of cereal in regular grocery stores. So please correct me if I'm wrong Danno, but it seems those are a good deal. I just want to make sure I am thinking right about that before I answer my kids when they ask😁
Theses prices are rising because of demand. Some stores with theses price hikes don't know how long it'll be before they're able to get a shipment for items in so to keep what they do have they raise the price. Just like gas prices. Sad part about it is that if people want it bad enough they'll pay for that price. Idk its so many reasons why prices for things are so high.
starting Aug. 19 you will need to spend at least $50 to get free delivery. if less than they will charge an $8 fee. also they use to charge $8 for same day delivery but that is now free if you again have at least $50 order before taxes. Also if you use curbside pickup, your order needs to be at least $50. i just renewed my plus membership. I don't have a problem with the changes, i was wondering how they could afford to send fedex to someone every day when they order one thing a day as they use it. it will be easy to spend $50 at a time but i still expect the fedex multiple times a week seeing they send the items from the plant to you versus straight from your club. Even though i am a plus member i rather shop myself and earn that sams cash that delivery doesn't offer. I got close to $300 back last year but i wouldn't have if i used delivery, you still get the savings but not sams cash on delivery but you never did. I only recently used the free delivery while my vehicles were down but like i said, i rather shop myself, easy with scan n go. v

I am now retired and get minimal increases but my saving grace is that I paid all bills before I retired. I went by grocery store yesterday, picked up a few things that I put back on shelf. I’m tired of being screwed at every turn and my only recourse is to stop buying “stuff”. Essentials only. Take control of your own future..otherwise you’re at the mercy of big corp price gouging. I seriously doubt any of the big guys are suffering. I don’t buy the excuses we hear for outrageous rise in prices. What was $1 2 years ago is now $3+. I found steaks cheap at a Mexican grocery store..where i go and get fajita meat...i stocked up..well those cows were fed nuts..bolts..and metal..they were so tough..we could not cut them..i say that to say this...quality over price!!! I had no clue that Cokes now cost a small fortune. I went to Kroger in Houston the other day to buy 2 packs of coke for my sons teachers lounge. They were $9.99 each for normal 12 pack. I reluctantly bought 2. At checkout, the cashier told me they were buy 2, get 2 and she insisted I take 2 more. I told her that I did not want 48 cokes, I want 24 cokes but since they essentially were forcing me to pay for 4 packs instead of the 2 I wanted (because $20 for 24 cokes is total insanity), I would take 48 against my will. Then I saw at Costco its $22.99 for 35 so Kroger was a better deal despite the rip off
I buy the 90% lean ground beef in the 10 lb tubes. We then portion it ourselves and freeze it. In 2020 I was getting it on sale for $2.79 to $2.99 a lb in my local grocery store. I refuse to get less lean ground beef. We are eating more chicken and pork.

Health and beauty aides was either fully stiocked or completely empty. There was no name brand Tagaderm butbthry did have 6 boxes of the Equate equivalent; 6 comevin a case of this product.
Danno not sure which Sam's club you go to but mine at Eastgate in Cincinnati is much better stocked than yours. Very strange to me especially the bakery stuff we are always stocked so you think they would share.
I wonder if that stuff is baked in house and doesn't get on the shelves till later in the day. I just never notice at our store. I try to stay away from the bakery stuff. Too many temptations there.

I get Flonase with my doctors prescription for 2.00 each. If you have a drug plan, ask your doctor to write a script for you. Much cheaper!

I was at my Walmart last Saturday and got me another box of Asprin 81mg low dose.
Get coffee & Peanut butter now both have a long shelf life prep to get thru winter on these items.
I haven't been to Sam's Club in a while. I usually get groceries at Walmart or Food Lion.
