    I appreciate your time and effort put into your videos related to your tractor. I've been looking at tractors for years and I've kept circling back to the RK37 for the same reasons you mentioned. In October of 2021 I resigned from my office job to start my own business involving shipping supplies and medical equipment transport. I have been loading and unloading pallets off my C-5500 flatbed by hand until present day. Each load is between 200-300 pallets and can weigh as much as ten thousand pounds sometimes. As you can probably imagine that isn't easy. I found your videos last week and Saturday I was in Enka watching my niece play basketball. After the game my wife and I made the trip over to Rural King and we met Joe. I spoke to him for a good amount of time at the store and later that night when we got home I sent him a text to touch base. I told him I was sure he was probably off work or about to be soon so not to worry about a reply until Monday if he preferred. I got a phone call from him immediately and he answered my questions. He even gave me advice on deck over trailers that could pull double duty hauling a tractor as well as pallets. Tomorrow I'll be starting the process of getting an RK37 hydrostatic ordered. Thank you again for your help.

      Thank you. This is one reason I do the videos. I get questions every time I release a video. I am glad I can help. I have a few more videos coming soon with the tractor moving dirt and brush. I don't do much with my forks. I have the forks for it. But, the grapple is what I use most. Feel free to reach out to me and you can come look at my RK37SS.

      @@Needdirt thank you for the invitation! Didn't notice where you're located but I live in WNC and it takes me two hours to get to Morganton and about the same amount of time to get to the Tennessee RK locations. I've heard some negative things about the Tenn stores and after seeing your videos that helped me decide to go see Joe. If I'm out your way sometime when you're not busy I'd love to see your setup!

      @@jessesneed2364 I am about 30 minutes from RK in Morganton. I use my tractor for landscaping. So, I'm at multiple locations. Holler at me when your this way and I will let you look at it. Joe did me right before and after the sale. I am very pleased with him. I wish they had a better area to buy accessories at the store. But, other than that I have enjoyed my experience with RK.

    Bought my RK there as well. Joe has been awesome! Just stopped to look at the RK55 cab tractor this afternoon. As always Joe was there and helped a ton!

    Oh yes getting used to new equipment. Slow and clumsy at first, then 6 months later fits like a glove, and operates smooth and efficiently, and you feel comfortable with it.

      Exactly, I have alwas graded with a skidsteer, backhoe or frontend loader. Using a tractor is new to me. But, it is coming along.

    The real test will be the fact they don't have a dedicated service department. Service, parts and repair may be an issue. That's why I bought a TYM, they make RK tractors and they're at a real dealer.

      So far, I haven't had an issue. The local Rural King (Morganton, NC (30 minutes from me)) has a dedicated service guy. I considered buying a TYM. I didn't because the nearest dealer is in Wilson, NC (3H 35M) from me. I'm not saying it wouldn't be an issue if I have a problem. So far, anything I've needed, they took care of it quickly. Of course that was small stuff.

    What length and GVWR was your trailer. Picking up an RK37 with the backhoe attachment and I’m looking for the right length trailer. Thanks

      My trailer is 7 x 18'. It just does fit. I dont have room to lay the boom down. I haul it with the boom locked. It is less than 10,000 lbs.

    I'm looking to get this same tractor what size trailer do you have? I'll have a bush hog off the back of mine using it to bush hog where I hunt etc.

    • @Needdirt
      @Needdirt  8 місяців тому

      My trailer is on a project right now. I think it is 16'. I suggest getting 18' I use the grapple when I bushhog a bunch. When I pick up the bucket in the grapple, my bushhog barely fits between the ramps. Any other questions, feel free to reach out.

    What is the size of the hydraulic fill port?

    • @Needdirt
      @Needdirt  5 місяців тому

      I do not know. I'd say standard size for a 37 HP tractor.
