@@kero2526 Sabonis isn't even good on playoffs, Fox got his hand injured last year and this year their best shooter was injured. Kawhi has been injured almost every playoff they have been in, PG in some, Harden is the biggest playoff choker and I'm sure you don't think highly of Russ anyways. Spo has gotten to the finals twice with Jimmy, Bam and a bunch of whomevers. So don't pretend they just suck for not winning against people like GS, Luca, Jokic, etc.

That’s one of the best analytical observations about how the Lakers should have guarded Jokic that I’ve heard and it makes me wonder whether behind closed doors if coach Ham recommended that adjustment and if Lebron vetoed that adjustment. That’s a very interesting take. If he wants to coach or plans to coach, he Lebron the coach has to be able to make in-game adjustments or game to game adjustments.

Think Colin missed it about LBJ “Always” being a willing passer under other coaches. LBJ haw always played in a heliocentric style offense except for in MIA where he has his most efficient success. LBJ has been pulling strings in Cle and LA and the former LA players can see right through. LBJ wants a coach that he can tell what to do. Luka has also been allowed to play that style which is why it’s so hard for him in the playoffs. He has to damn near play perfect every game. Bt when Luka goes back to his home country team, his coaches don’t allow that. He has to play in a system which is why they have so much success when playing in the Olympics

Long time Lakers fan, and I agree Lebron hasn’t been perfect, but we have more problems than the coaching. The organization has been run like a “mom and pop” store for years, even before Lebron. Outside of Pat Riley and Phil Jackson, we have fired coaches every 2-3 years. This is nothing new. Kobe’s last 5 years he had 3 head coaches. Kurt Rambis was a coach. It’s funny how Byron Scott is criticizing LeBron when the Lakers didn’t give him a fair shot back in 2014-16. The canned him as soon as Kobe retired. Like I said, LeBron has not been perfect, but he doesn’t get all the blame. The Front Office has been trash. Rob Pelinka gets no blame for breaking up the 2020. They should have rolled with that team one more time. But they let Dwight and Javale go for Marc Gasol and Montrez Harrell. The Lakers picked Talon Horten Tucker over Alex Caruso, a 1st team all defensive player. People can blame Lebron for getting Russ for Kuzma and KCP. Okay. But forget Lebron wanted to get Ty Lue or Jason Kidd to replace Luke Walton but the Lakers lowballed Ty Lue and wanted to pick his staff. They put Jason Kidd as an assistant for Frank Vogel because of his past history. And Now the Lakers have Ty Lue and Jason Kidd as “candidates”. If Lebron has all this “power” he should have gotten the coach he wanted and every player he has wanted. In the end, the Lakers are a poorly run franchise and it has been like this for years. We rely on going for the home run player instead of building from within. Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, Pau, Lebron, AD. These are all trades or free agent signings. We have always went for the stars. Lebron is just an easy target to put blame on.

I believe he came to LA because he wanted to be a Laker, because of Magic and him wanting to be in Los Angeles. People are quick to change their tune. Everyone wanted Darvin Ham gone and when it happened people were treating him like he was a damsel in distress. How many coaches get fired every year in the nba? This isn't a new thing. The Raptors fired their coach after he was coach of the year and after they lost in the playoffs. To make this a Lebron thing or a Laker only problem is fcking stupid.
This July will mark 6yrs since Lebron signed with the Lakers. Over the next month or so, Bron will get his 4th coach in 6 years. That’s a bit extreme.
