Nick hates Brock so much that no matter what Brock does, Nick will find a way to knock Brock. Nick said he hasn't come from behind. Brock has come from behind victories twice in the playoffs. Nick says we'll he didn't in the Super Bowl. Nick said his yards come from YAC. Stats show Mahomes get more YAC yards than Brock. Nick says it's because of the talent around him, and Mahomes does it with less. Lmao!

Wildes has got this and I understand him. "Look at physical phenom Ryan Leaf! There's no way Tom Brady could ever be better long term than him!"

@@lakeozarkrei3767 Herbert has certainly been over-hyped, for sure. It was disrespectful to ever compare him to Mahomes.
But to act like if Shanahan had his choice of Herbert over Purdy (salaries being equal of course) and wouldn't take him in a heartbeat would be utterly incorrect.
As to your point, he has one Pro Bowl selection for this reason: there are only 3 Pro Bowlers in a conference.

It's the Mahomes effect. Allen shot up in popularity after the 13 seconds game for almost beating Mahomes. And then would we all rank Burrow so high if, let's say, he beat someone other than Mahomes in that AFC game? 15 has become the barometer for the next generation of QBs.
Give Brock Purdy credit and the respect he deserves! Brock Purdy is only 24 years old. Not only that last season was his second season, but it was also his first full season as the starting quarterback. If any quarterback doesn't have the group including offensive lineman, wide receivers, tight ends, running backs, head coaches, offensive coordinators, etc., then quarterbacks wouldn't be a quarterback. That includes joe Montana, Steve Young, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Brock Purdy, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, etc. Also, last season Brock Purdy came off of a UCL Tear and he dominate last season and he lead to the superbowl, despite coming off short of winning the superbowl. This offseason he has all the time he needs to improve himself rather than getting well like last offseason. Brock Purdy's mentality is off the charts. Brock Purdy is not the second best QB and that is ok. He is WAYYYYY better than he was drafted and that people think he is. He is a really good QB that has some physical limitations that he makes up for with a GREAT IQ. I don't get why the argument has to be "best or trash".
what physical limitations does he have? Anything that has caused him to play worse? He has elite short area quickness. Is extremely accurate has good arm, not a rocket and is shorter but has proven very durable regardless. The question was who played qb best the last year and purdy was the best behind mahomes.
The issue is it is only best or trash for him. Lamar sucks as a pocket passer. Allen turns it over way too much. Yet none of that is used against them, saying they are trash (rightfully so btw).

Wildes postion is just dumb. In his "real world" quarterback ranking is just the team's finish in the standings. If you put Brock Purdy on the Bills or Bengals, they are a sub 500 team. On the Ravens, a little better because the system is a little less QB dependent. Mind you, that does not mean the Bills are better than the 49ers or Beane is better than Lynch. This is a tiring argument. It'll never make sense because there is a high possibility it will never happen.
No they don’t are you stupid? Purdy is consistent and makes plays when they matter. Look at Aaron Rodgers, he is the best qb I’ve ever seen besides mahomes and he has one ring and he has had many good teams, the 49ers are a great team I agree, but the 49ers team doesn’t just make a qb be the best in almost every statistical category. Brock Purdy is on a playoff win trajectory that rivals Patrick Mahomes. Yes, Brock Purdy should be ranked #2 in the NFL.
Playoff Win/Loss + Years in NFL
1 Mahomes 15-3 + 7 years
2 Rodgers 12-10 + 19 years
3 Burrow 5-2 + 4 years
4 Goff 5-4 + 8 years
5 Allen 5-5 + 6 years
6 Purdy 4-2 + 2 years

Mann can’t wait for football to be back! These 4 is combo meal quality! 🔥
Same
Josh Allen has played elite against Pat Mahomes. He hasn't won, but he has played elite - the idea that we can't evaluate a player independent of their supporting cast is silly.
Friendly reminder that football is a team sport. And Purdy has literally the best supporting cast.
He has one of the best supporting casts that he helped make better. Yeah I said it.
@@byronsmith3152did he though? Jimmy G played with CMC for 5 games and had 9 TDs and 1 INT, which is about the same as what Purdy averages.
Didn't help him in sb57 😂😂
@@erikdayne5429 exactly. now picture Justin Herbert with those weapons. And defense. And coach.
@@erikdayne5429 You bringing up Jimmy G just proves how clueless you are. There is zero comparison between the two outside of some skill set. Please go and learn actual football. Niners are a RUNNING team. I know this may be hard for people to understand in today;s NFL.
put Brock Purdy on KC and they don’t make the playoffs with that horrendous receiving core outside of Kelce. I can name 5 AFC QBs better than Brock Purdy. & by the logic of “wins aren’t an individual stat” then I guess JJ McCarthy should’ve been drafted #1 overall then because he was the national champion, in which Cody Benjamin has him OVER Jayden Daniels and Gardner Minshew.
You have a biased take.
@@TuckerUp real take
@@GoatedAtNFS Your take made no sense
🤣🤣🤣
Brock already proved Nick wrong. He’s been moving the goal post for his argument. Brock’s obviously not 2nd best, but he’s much better than what Nick use to think of him
All we know is Mahomes is 1 and there’s a gap after that
Eh, one of the problems with Wilde's logic is Purdy is NFC and Josh Allen is AFC. If Purdy was AFC, he would run into a buzz saw before getting to the SB.
"Everyone knows I love Brock...Iowa mafia"
Lmfao
this vid had me dying😂😂
Idk exactly where Brock Purdy would get drafted in an entire NFL QB redraft.. but I’ll tell you what I know for sure, Brock Purdy doesn’t care, he’s just going to go out there and win games.
Great segment!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂 they get so mad purdy has been playing great for his first two years in the NFL. Statistics over opinions. It is what is.
No clue how anybody ever could argue the situation around the guy dosent matter.
So basically we rank QBs based on who’s beat mahomes ? 😭😭😭 what a joke
“You actually scared me” lol
They got it right Purdy is him!!!
Purdy is very much the true inheritor of the Tom Brady GOAT legacy. Picked very low in the Draft. Unexpectedly the starter due to other QB getting injured. Played well enough under a system to get to the Super Bowl. Pundits get prejudiced by college and past performances; it's a shame that, unlike BP, they don't learn from the Brady example.
haha i just love this guys
When you're only reason to HATE on Purdy is "he wasn't a 1st or 2nd rd selection", then you have NO reason to hate on him.
Wildes said “go to a carnival and knock over some milk bottles”🤣🤣🤣
Best NFL episode in months
So what's the difference between Joe Burrow and Brock Purdy? Besides ome being the 1st pick and one being the last pick?
Put Herbert on the Niners and they would have won two SB. Can’t stand the Herbert slander. No QB could have won with the Chargers.
Good to see GJ!
Brock Purdy is going to lead the 9ers to the playoffs again, and the haters are still gonna say they need to see more lol
You actually scared me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 brou cracked me up!! Jajajaja
