hi farah! tomorrow i’m having my last interview for my first job after i graduate, i was sure at first that this job is gonna be perfect for me, but today, i feel scared by the idea of me going out of my comfort zone, i’m going to leave the city where i grew up, and it’s really just…terrifying, i was thinking to not doing the last interview, i was really thinking to just runaway from everything, to wait a little bit more until i ready, but then i saw your video, i watched it, and maybe your video was the answer from Allah to remove all of my worries, i literally cried bcs of your words by the way 🥹 thank you farah, you’re making me sure to just do the interview tomorrow, i wasn’t even guaranteed to be accepted anyway so why i must be overwhelmed with something that is not even happening yet right?

I feel the concept of us having finite energy. And spending it on what really matters or what directly benefits us. We put a lot of efforts into building careers and we don’t give time to doing things that weren’t career related. Like I want to watch back to back movie series but I have a lot of medical stuff to catch up on that I feel guilty about watching the movies. And also here’s the thing. Some degrees are like that that they want to make you think that you have limited time to become good at it. Like medical. You have to be a good doctor as soon as possible.
