farah, i remember watching one of your videos where you were talking about how you finally cut music out of your life and at the time i didnt think i could ever get to that level, its just not something id think id ever want to give up on. but alhamdulillah ive cut out music since ramadan this year, i didnt think i ever could. i just want to thank you so much for making these videos.

Farah, tears filled my eyes and dropped down as I stood at the kitchen sink listening to the story of Meriam/Mary and the date tree. I have never heard about her that way before. I felt so understood as a mother - and as a veteran procrastinator. Just today I was struggling with my tendencies regarding my work. This story of trust and just making a small effort, not a grandiose one, and receiving what is divinely given, generously given, is miraculous medicine
i See you as my friend talking to me and motivating me. I lost my parents may Allah have mercy on them. I have no friends, I gave up my music career for the sake of Allah ( it was my best decision). But this Loneliness is really making me small and I overthink a lot. I always have these thoughts that I am not good enough to go to the gym, go and study things and that's because of the silence. no mama no baba no one that could inspire me... please make more content.. you are our last hope... I love watching your videos. May Allah reward you and guide us all to have more power and be like Allah is pleased with us. Keep going Farah I love u so much you have a strong character. with lots of loveee
May Allah bless your Mama and Baba with the highest rank of Jannah. May Allah bless you with the strength to carry on. In Sha Allah we will all be together in Jannah one day. May we work on earning Jannah every day. I lost my Mama last year and it crushed me but Alhumdholillah being Muslim is the biggest blessing as in Islam we know that when our parents pass, we can carry on with good deeds in order to send them blessings. Sadaqa jariah.ay Allah bless you and give you sabr.
I hope Insha'Allah that the Almighty blesses you in this dunya and the akhirah as well, as well as your parents. I am sorry for your loss, may Allah soothe your heart and remove from you your burden. I hope that good righteous people come into your company and the loneliness leaves you sister insha'Allah

I adore how you tied all the scholaristic ideals and articles to Islam, religion and the Quran. That one must want to, believe in themselves, and intend on bettering themselves in order to achieve their goals. To have the drive the optimism and the exponential capacities to not only excel and succeed and such. But also to become a better person and loving human in society. Its all about working on your: Nafs (soul or intent) and to put in the work on a daily basis . Perfect vid 👍🏼💗
Thank you for making these videos, I am literally binging them all and they have all been really helpful! The way you explain these heavy topics are amazing, thank you again and may Allah (SWT) reward you.
I love your content farah, you drop snippet of psychology, beautiful ayats of the Quran and takeaways I just love it so much ! May Allah reward you and perfect your content so it can be sadaqah jariyya for u ❤
Wow this came at the perfect time for me. This summer I've been trying to study for the MCAT, at the beginning I went in strong but for the past few weeks I've been feeling overwhelmed and started procrastinating. Because I've left it for so long I felt like a failure and disappointed in myself. I thought maybe I don't have a chance to be a doctor anymore since I can't even focus on studying for the MCAT and that I should just give up. But this video really helped me understand that even though I procrastinated I have a chance I just need to get back up. That procrastination is just an obstacle and that we're only human we can take small steps, put our efforts but ultimately its Allah's will that makes everything happen. Jazakhallahu khair, Farah!
you should know that before i watched this video, i wrote in my notes something like 'What should I do first...?' After that, I went to UA-cam and found your video. Without reading the title, I realized it was relevant to me.
omg farah you have no idea how much i needed this😭😭😭😭 thank you. thank you. thank you. i cried. this is my sign to just shake my palm tree😭😭😭😭 at least try to shake it😭😭😭
Hey! I think you'll really love Omar Suleiman's talk about this. He has a 3-part series about Jibreel Peace be upon Him and it's so beautiful. Part of it spoke about Maryam too!
VIDEO RECOMENDATION: farah, could u please make a video about the rights of parents and how we need to treat them better? (we can always do better) Because parents hold a significant important in Islam, I'm sure you already know this! A hadith stated in Bukhari Muslim says, " A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your father. (Bukhari, Muslim)." But nowadays, a lot of the kids, teens and even adults, including some of us, don't treat our parents how they should be treated, or we need to treat them better, but most of the times it's seen as though we take them for granted (unfortunately) even though deep down we know we shouldn't. Sister Farah, there is little to no talk about this and I firmly believe that our parents deserve better and that there needs to be a talk about this because they are among the most valuable people in our lives, if not, the most valuable people, so could you make a video stating their rights and basically raise the awareness that we need to be kinder towards them, for the sake of Allah, for us and for them? Thank you. May Allah bless you. (and yes, please do make a vid on it)
Sometimes I think u are my guardian angel which formed himself in human and drop videos on UA-cam to help me in exactly that situation I’m actually struggling ❤️
Funny i came across this today. For a while now i have been thinking of how i need to actively sort out my schedule and my day to focus on my goals, while reducing the wastage like endless scrolling. I love you explaining how we are only given that which we can do and the burden we can carry as well as you talking about procrastination. JazakAllah Khair
i’m a Catholic, only chasing you down to say I love that depiction of Mary ❤ maybe a side note but even the most wonderful births can be traumatic and that honesty and truth is really beautifully expressed
You ended this episode beautifully Farah, when you said the bits at the end, "just shake the palm trees even when youre weak and tired" a thought came to my mind, and its about how kind and how caring Allah is toward us, we just need to believe, then try as best as we can, and the rest will be handled by Allah's greatness. Allah's blessing truly is beyond our comprehension. And i think i will always be emotional when it comes to Allah's mercy for the humankind, for each individual person in this teeny tiny world.
I'm a Christian but your perspective resonates with me. Thank you so much you making me feel not insane ❤❤ this also seems to be high achiever eldest daughter syndrome lol
Farah I never looked at maryam (as)'s story this way, I often struggle with procrastination and although I knew trying with tawakkul in Allah was the best way to get through procrastination, this story from the Quran just solidified that for me by 100x, i will always think about it now.
honestly farah, you correlating those psychological concepts to Islam geniunely just makes me sense how Allah is the only One who purely understands us, our deepest struggles & hardships, & how lenient & gentle Allah is with us, & how he controls & enables all circumstances to come in our favor, & that all we have to do is the initial move it's beyond increduble how you portrayed how we should place our belief in Allah, & that we shall do tawakkul & place our initial action-which Allah enables to do already سبحانه و بحمده-& enables us to take the futher steps & move forward into the path of self amelioration in multiple aspects of our lives 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 & im gonna be brutally honest the last part induced tears 💝💝

I need to tell you something. One day my mother and I went for coffee. And while there we got talking to a mom and her daughter who were much older than us. Her mother told us that 6 years ago she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given 6 months to live. But she has lived six years since. And every time she goes to doctors they simply admit they dont understand how she is alive right now. She was walking around and ordering coffee etc. And doctors don't understand it. #freepalestine
