    Ed, I went to Amazon and got info about your book. It looks great, and it's a must-have. It looks like the perfect book for seniors who might be a little intimidated about strength training. And I'm very grateful that you made the exercises safe for those who have osteopenia or osteoporosis. Easy to read instructions with helpful pictures, so "NO EXCUSES!" 🤗

    Hello Ed, in this video you mentioned that all the exercises are Osteoporosis safe. I had three vertebral fractures a year ago and I want to make sure that the exercises in your book are OK to do while living with chronic pain due to my fractures. I want to start moving forward. Thanks so much.

      Sorry to hear that, but yes, all the exercises are safe. However, start slowly, just the movements (no weights) and make sure to not exercise in to pain.     My experience with weight training for seniors is that it's generally not challenging enough to make a difference. I've been waving around light weights (heavier than soup cans) for years while getting weaker and weaker (and higher body fat percentage too) so in 2024 I'm going for heavier weights.

    I've ordered the book and have a question!
    QUESTION: is rebounding good for osteoporosis?
    Specifically, I would like to know if it helps to increase bone density? I've seen websites that refer to a NASA study saying that it does, but, I can't find the actual study to verify. Does rebounding increase bone density, or is it just an Urban Legend🙂? If so, are there any specific recommendations for rebounding: how long a person rebounds (10 min., 20 min....), as well as the height one goes when rebounding (1/2", 1", 2", etc...), and is it okay to jog on the rebounder for the benefits - or - doe a person have to just strait up and down for the benefits?
    I looked at your UA-cam page to see if you had a video on rebounding & osteoporosis and couldn't fine one. But, if you do have a video talking about this, please let me know. If you don't have a video about it, I would love to see y'all make one! Thank you so much for your help!

      Thanks for ordering my book, looking forward to March 12! As far as rebounding is concerned, it's great exercise, but not the best for building bone due to the lack of "impact". Think about the impact that "stomping" your feet on the ground would create versus doing it on a rebounder. That being said, if it's fun, continue doing it as part of your fitness routine.

    I’m 55 year’s old.
    I don’t have Osteoporosis but I do have Compression Fracture’s in my lower.
    Physical Therapy didn’t help.
    Is there surgery for this?
