So, would you suggest being a driver for fedex? I’m 15 now but when I turn 18 I want to try to be one. Love driving and getting up and down etc. and you get some exercise.

I got my Ktuner today and tuned it but it only has stage 1 and 2. How do I get more options or better performance?
sadly in the 8th gen accord we dont have the ability to use ignition cut 2 step or any advanced features :(

From my understanding it would unlock a bit of horsepower and mpg. You could also lower the VTEC threshold
Hey there! Few questions, when you get the ktuner off the shelf, are there any tunes included with it (like any base, free tune)? I was the test car for the 8th gen V6 back in 2015 and they gave me one but I sold it couple years ago along with my mods except the SRI, thinking I was gonna sell my accord. Now I miss all of them and thinking of getting them now since I decided to keep my accord long term. Curious if I can get any unlocked ktuner, say from a 2019 civic, and it would still have a tune for the 8th gen accord. Or does it have to be a specific ktuner unit for 8th gen accord?
There aren’t too many off the shelf options for the 8th gen v6 out of the box. I think any ktuner should work. You plug it into your car, and it’ll recognize which car it’s plugged into and pull up tunes for that specific car. If you purchase from slickfab, he specializes in accords so he’s can make minor adjustments and add more options to your out of box tune for free

Wait do you have the V6 or Inline 4 in that Accord cause I was thinking about getting the Kv2 tunner for my 2012 Accord but do I need to do anything else like fuel injectors or whatever I already use premium fuel from shell
Not really. It has tune maps for different mods for your car. Eg. Intake + exhaust + fuel. Or intake only etc

@@levistokes1370 straight pipe it then throw on a new short ram intake or yu could do a normal cold sir intake both work the same short ram is jus smaller makes engine bay look better then i would say jus grt it air tuned and you should feel the diffrence

@@cuttabutter5050 Fu*kn LOVE it bro! First VW I've ever owned but by far most fun to drive. I was steered away too for the longest from VW but I did some research and came across a great buy. GTI and R are basically same but i wanted more power and AWD capability being in NY. And mk6 was the most affordable because them Rs get pricey lol
@@cuttabutter5050 but a 08 5 speed is definitely worth it. I bought it with 92k miles and put another 70k on it. No issues at all and i beat up on it pretty dam good. Was my favorite car until i got the VW
Why is the title advertising the ktuner for the 8th gen when you're driving a 9th gen??? This is completely misleading. I'm extremely interested in seeing the performance for the 2008-2012 Accord V6 like the title suggests. Is the link to the KTuner v1.2 for $450 compatable with the 8th gen or is it for 9th gen??

@@LunatiKz My fault, I was tired and thought the center console looked brighter and assumed it was 2013+. Do you have a modded face plate / aftermarket radio ? I've never seen one look like yours, especially at 9:00 where the backlight is off. It gives it a similar look to that of the 13-17 interior. I can't find any images of other Accords that have that console.

@@LunatiKz yo I been looking into getting the the rv6 j pipe and pre cat as well. Some 8th gen forums were saying a pre cat delete causes more heat and will wear the engine, do you know anything about that? Also did the j pipe and pre cat make the car annoyingly louder?
I got rv6 PCD and j pipe takeda SRI 8th gen sedan. It’s the wife’s car now I got a truck. She has no complaints about noise. We got 265k miles on it.

Bought it with 98k used and stock. Put a 40k mile motor in at 110k due to original owners negligence. New cams and heads rebuilt at 250k maybe. Stock cams there VCM wears the lobes after 200k lol.

does this help with the vcm? I think vcm restricts power in the engine in the higher speeds, so a tune that basically stops that restriction would be great!
yea it does you can disable vcm through ktuner
