And then there's the "confessions" just how low can one go to use the words of a severely mentally ill person who was experiencing psychosis against them. The state might be comfortable to call those "confessions" but those who care about human rights and fair justice are not comfortable with that. To call the words of a man who was suffering from psychosis and under extreme conditions in solidarity confinement a confession is beyond desperate, It's completely unethical!!

In the video Libby took one of the girls yells gun although they didn’t release that part of the video to the public. Richard admitted to being at the trail around the times the girls were killed. A witness identified him being covered in mud shortly after the crime would’ve been committed. Also there was a photo of him on his wife’s Facebook that’s she since deleted of him wearing the exact blue jacket. He would have to be the worlds unluckiest man to have a bullet found between the bodies. So much evidence here is circumstantial and I do believe he was involved and is bridge guy but there’s no way he did this alone.
These law enforcement people are complete idiots. Who would compare a fired round to an unfired round? Cycling the cartridge through the firearm is the most accurate test to compare the cartridge found near the victims. Hopefully they haven't lost his confession recordings.
She did cycle it through. The results were inconclusive so she manipulated the bullet by firing it to make it match. And even then the defense tried to point out to the jury that they still didn't match visibly. So Gull ordered that the jury can't look at or consider the bullet photos from the testimony. Imagine hearing that as a jury and wondering why the judge would hide that from you. It's wild.

I’m in my last year of law school and work in criminal defense, so naturally I just kinda assume people are innocent or at least that the state can’t prove their case. Unfortunately, I have thought he is gonna lose for a while, simply because of the confessions, no matter their content. The jury is gonna care about it, and even if the toolmark stuff isn’t totally conclusive, they will say to themselves it is close enough. If it were just the toolmark he would beat it I think.

For instance, if you heard that another suspect matches the eyewitness descriptions, has a history of sexcrimes, has a history of catfishing girls as young as 12, lied about his alibi, knew that there were branches and throat wounds years before it was announced, was friends with the person whose land they were found on, confessed to his family, tried to get rid of a blue jacket, and told a cop he spit on the bodies, would you give that confession any weight?
