- Today I installed the MAPerformance Catted Downpipe on my 10th gen Honda Civic Si! Safe to say this upgrade was WELL worth it! As you'll see in the video, it sounds absolutely incredible!

No update on how you disconnected the O2sensor clip or how you got the stud out? Wtf?
My bad, the 02 sensor turned out to be just fine and I didn’t have to do anything with it. And the broken stud I just reused as it had enough threads to get the new downpipe on

It’s actually not too bad, it’s slightly worse than before but it’s definitely fine for a daily driver

Hey dude what off-set and size are you running on your wheels and tires?
I’m running 18x8.5 with +35 for the wheels, and a 245/40/18 tire on all corners

Aye bro you know how there’s a gasket between the frontpipe and downpipe did they give you one to put there?
Unfortunately they did not, if I remember correctly I did reuse the old one though. You have me second guessing now 😂
@@kylepalaian oh oka I’m talking about the circle ring on the front pipe, I have AWE exhaust which included a front pipe and I couldn’t get that ring out of the factory front pipe so I just used silicone sealant in its place but if I take it off to install a downpipe I would Needa re do it or use a the gasket that’s why I asked

Hey I snapped the stud as well what did you do to fix it. Seems like a pain in the ass
😂 funny thing is I didn’t fix it, there was enough left to bolt up the downpipe with the broken stud no problem
Oh you got lucky lol I snapped the same exact one you did but there’s not enough thread to screw the nut on. Debating what I should do. Do you think 3 of 4 bolts holding it on is good for now?
@@stephentesta6011 I would go for it then check for leaks immediately after you put it on. If it’s not leaking you’re good to go, if it is leaking then you’re probably going to have to buy the oem stud from Honda and drill the old one out
@@stephentesta6011 if you’re not comfortable doing that you could take it to a shop to get the new stud in and they shouldn’t charge you too much as it’s a pretty quick job
This is a nightmare. No shops will touch my car due to the fact that it’s the turbo stud and I definitely have an exhaust leak. Im super disappointed and don’t know where to go from here

Yeah and it’s still on to this day lol

I have no idea, I don’t live somewhere where emissions testing is required
Did u end up getting the heatshield back on?
No when I got the downpipe I cheaper out and didn’t check the box for heat shield bolt holes. So you can get the heat shield back on if you spend the extra money and get the optional bolt holes
Hey man i ended up buying the one with the heatshield bolt. Major pain in the ass. I didn't have the right tools. I Would definitely recommend having a flex head ratcheting wrench when installing.

any error codes yet?
Yeah, I get an “emissions system problem” whenever I start the car and the check engine light stays on
@@kylepalaian I was looking to get a new DP. I’m MAP everything cept stock DP. I was looking at PRL’s high volume one that doesn’t trigger error codes.
@@crakzor I love PRL as a brand! Everything I got from them has been 10/10 so I’ll bet their DP is phenomenal
