  • Nerve hydrodissection is a safe and effective treatment for cervical radiculopathy and nerve injury. This is a great non-surgical nerve treatment for neck and arm pain as well as weakness and numbness due to nerve compression or injury. Dr. Sebastian is a nerve injury specialist in Estero FL (south west Florida, between Fort Myers and Bonita Springs).

Thank you for sharing this manoeuvre and it’s excellent result
I would like to ask you that in which cases you prefer PRP as hydrodissection solution and which cases you prefer DW5
    Best regards

Nerve hydrodissection is an effective treatment with either D5W or PRP. D5W is a great start to decompress the nerves and decrease nerve inflammation. PRP is the best treatment for significant nerve injuries when there is a lot of axonal damage.

Are you going close to the foraminal canal at C5/6 levels?

With cervical nerve root hydrodissection, I bring the needle very near the foraminal canal, this is safe under ultrasound (need to monitor arteries with a doppler) and effective treatment for cervical radiculopathy (plenty of literature support). integrativerehabmedicine.com/fort-myers-naples-cape-coral-fl-neuropathy-treatment/

I wish I could come see you in FL! I have hypermobility and am in PT, but I have a lot of neurological manifestations of neck instability. I found a prolotherapist where I'm at but IDK if they do cervical spine injections

Prolotherapy and PRP can be a very effective treatment for cervical instability, but it needs to be done only by trained and experienced physicians. We have many patients travel to our Estero clinic from all over the US and outside of the country. Consider coming down to FL. integrativerehabmedicine.com/estero-fl-arthritis-pain-treatment-orthopedic-care-estero-sports-medicine

Hi. I recently had this done with another doctor in my left foot. He said my plantar fascia looked normal (had an old tear that healed) but had lots of scar tissue around several nerves. He said relief should’ve been immediate. It wasn’t. I watched it done on ultrasound but left feeling exactly the same. The doctor wasn’t very communicative. I would like to know if relief can sometimes not occur for days to weeks, and if it doesn’t work, is a second treatment worth a try if the first fails. I would not return to the prior doctor. I would travel to your office (it’s about a 3 hour drive) if you think you can help.

Nerve hydrdissection is a great treatment, but sometimes, other things need to be treated. Please schedule a telehealth consult to discuss, we would need to evaluate the condition (plantar fasciitis, nerve entrapment, ?) and come up with a comprehensive treatment plan.
