Great effort Ty, certainly a product I would insist on during our bathroom first fix installs, I am going to give these a go soon well done for all the effort time and I expect money that you have had to devote to get this far, come on guys let's support Ty and his product, big up British innovation!!
People like this guy is what moves the world forward - problem solving, innovation and creativity.
Also a very nice person, a real gentleman
Good man Ty, get it in the shops and we will definitely use them.
Well I'll give a try for sure once the merchants start stocking it , it looks good and robust and well done for keeping it British manufactured......👍
Now that is a clever system. Wish I’d known about this a few days ago before I painstakingly installed my pipework for our bar shower and will need to use a fixing kit. What an exercise!
Long video. You had me sold in the first 3 seconds of seeing it. Amazing product 👌🏿
If the Chinese see this they'll already be shipping it over to B&Q. They'll call it Arfrie Prumming!
Brilliant invention. Hurry up and get the hotel builders involved. 2 & 3 hundred rooms in a hotel ££££££ ☺
Yeah, n' pwobabwee before the copywight expires.

Well done Roger and have a good video. We must need more in innovation
As an designer of products for sale, I was really impressed with Roger to acknowledge the difficulties to actually selling products that only start once the product is designed,
I want to say well done to Ty, I will use Alfi myself, great idea. Not a plumber by trade....
Nice to see real people inventing sensible products.
Looks like a great product, definitely going to try these out.
Well done, not a plumber but had plenty of experience with this issue
Just about to do a diy bathroom, I’ll be getting one of these for sure. Thanks SkillBuilder
Brilliant. Good luck mate
I love this guy. Good work!
A super video - Thank you!
Mint just what we need in our trade
looks good, quality looks good good price should fly!!
Wow this looks like an excellent product, and I'm definitely gonna purchase one of these systems.
Would be great to see skill builder use one of these on a bathroom fitting video.
I'm definitely planning on using a Alfie in our new bathroom.
The only problem is I live in France and copper pipe size is,
10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm..
Do you think the Alfie would be compatible with French pipe sizes?
I am not a plumber, which makes that system all the more interesting, when I moved into my house, all the plumbing fittings, windows etc had been stolen by squatters. That meant it was me who had to replace everything, nothing coming out of the walls was in line with any fittings and the swan necks never quite seem to go in the right place, if this system had been installed previously it would have saved me a lot of grief and my wife learning bad words she had never heard before.
Prices would be handy though.
Proper job
Price ????
Wow love TYs gear Looks like hes going to war with construction 😀
Great idea...get it in plumbase sharpish...
I think this is excellent idea. It will be interesting to see the price of this.
My pipes never bent, and its not been in a tight hole for years.
Behave yourself man 😃
@Robert Cunningham OI! I do the edgy, peurile un-pc jokes on this channel!
@"Behave yourself man" I've just read your original comment thread. Monty, Ridiculing the speech inflections of south east asians, whose native languages have developed over thousands of years, so that they have difficulty pronouncing the english letter "l", is racist. As a white, cis gendered , patriarchal, Yorkshireman with all of the privilege in the world, I am offended.
So what's it to be? Pistols at dawn, or last to down his pint in one is a pussy?
I use the pejorative term "pussy", not as a gendered noun as men can have pussies too.... allegedly.
love the idea, would like to see an installation demo? is this on the market? currently use marflow shower PL8 and wall plate elbows, but this looks a much better alternative.
We will do an install soon
Bloody brilliant
I guess it's all about cost.
Compression attachment only I guess, no solder.
I think its brass so....
Quality
I like it
Genius
Be really good to get an update on how the product has grown and evolved in the past 2 years
Lets hope it fly's!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤔
Being looking for something like this for years how much is it ?
Perfect for Bar Mitzvas
Nice video, would like to know how would you install elements board on a Tongue & Grooved floor boards ?
Bed it on KST tile adhesive but prime the floor first. Then put in some screws when adhesive it set.
@@SkillBuilder Thanks a lot for the info which primer would you recommend for the job.
i'm a bit of a sucker for rogers recommended products - he doesn't ever promote rubbish.
when you say chat about Alfie i thought you were going to talk about my friends pony that is called Alfie, seems i was wrong 🤣😂🤣😂
We can chat about Alfie if you like. How many hands is it?
@@SkillBuilder lol, not many he is a little shetland
Where can I buy this product
Looks good but why could not you show anexample of them being fitted?
I hate recessed showers etc . Like you said about turning the shower head in and. It coming to 110 clock and ending to turn it back. Well how does yours differ? You have nt showed us??!
Sounds great but a picture tells a thousand words!!
Not convinced Ted but please do an installation video.
Thanks and good luck .
We have that video on our channel
What about "Dot 'n' Dab" gate !?!? The wet room/shower floor, dodgy install you haven't cleared up Roger ??????
Sorry for the delay. We have been putting something together but left the floor to see how it faired. There are no cracks in the grout or any problems after 6 months of heavy use. We have some interesting tests to reveal and some facts about the British Standard
Alfie has no online shop and we wants Alfie now.
Libertarian, You can get in touch with us through our website to get an Alfie! Either phone or email us.
@ 6:07 What's a wassock proof washer? Is that one even I can't f**k up?
When you getting more projects started Rodger been a while
We have a few on the go Scott but I have been told to take it easy for a while.
how much for 10?
Hi Rodger I just want to ask a quick question. I'm 15 years old do you think I should be allowed to do wee jobs using power tools? Because some people say I shouldn't I'm not qualified, too young. What do you think?
Hi Mark
I think you will know better than most people when you are ready. I would say that 15 years old is plenty old enough. I started a Saturday job in a local butchers shop when I was 12 and they had me chopping up lamb cutlets on a block. There was never any question of protecting me and a few times I had a bad cut. It makes you more careful.
@Mark Reid I had a Sunday morning paper round and a Monday to Satdy milk round. The weight of the paper bags was immense and would probably contravene health and safety legislation now. I used to stand on the back plate of a Transit van holding onto a grab rail whilst mad Betty, the driver, raced around corners on two wheels. The milk crates would skid around like crazy. Problem is, nowadays you can't legislate for common sense, so rules are needed. There are an army of personal injury lawyers and people who will exploit the system, feigning injury for personal or monetary gain.
Case in point: Soccer players taking "dives"
@@loafersheffield thanks love the bit about 2 wheels 😂
@@SkillBuilder thanks roger
@Mark Reid. You're welcome! Common sense. A rare commodity these days. From the deeply philosophical and political activism of Thomas Paine (I have read Common Sense) to the silly musings of an Australian, metal head, comedian.
This is funny. std Friday night fare.

If in doubt, do not proceed. If you do and totally screw up, accept responsibility. Even the most skilled and experienced people make the occasional mistake.
You deserve to do well out of this clever innovation Mate! 👴🏻🇦🇺
🤘😎🤘
I'm very suspicious about the lack of installation demonstration.
Think he missed the pun, what's it all about alfie
Too young.
2nd 😣
That hairs doing you no favours
Johnny Thomas
You are watching the wrong channel mate. This has nothing to do with hair dressing.
Skill Builder yeah I know but after so many videos I had to say it.
@@johnnythomas8036 Yes but, apart from expressing your personal taste, you haven't said anything. We need to see your hair so we know what a good hair style is.
1st yayyyyy
Humanity advances upon ridiculing and discarding stupid ideas and rewarding skills and ingenuity that inevitably benefit everyone. This bloke deserves an early retirement for his contribution to plumbers and bathroom fitters everywhere. Hope he's patented it.
Maybe Ty is too young to remember Cilla Black?
Ty used to do her plumbing and , not a lot of people know that.
