Very lovely recipe! Thank you Anita. I grew up seeing my mom makes this; I also make it but rarely. I love all your recipes. Thanks again and God bless.
@@anitasguidetosimplecooking Anita, Merry Christmas also to you. I do wish you a pleasant ending of 2018, and hope that 2019 would be a wonderful year with the Lord's blessing. Thank you for all your recipes, take care and God bless 💗💙❤💚💛💜
Dear Warren, You are welcome. Yes you can. You can make it with all sorts of filling. I will also try to upload another gujiya recipe using instant koya / mawa with sooji. Regards Anita.
Dear Roshni, if you want to make it for Diwali, this is what you can do. On low heat, melt 2 tablespoons of ghee, add 2 cups of desiccated coconut or shredded coconut, roast it for 1 minute or until it gets a light brown colour stirring it continuously. Add 4 crushed cardamom, 4 tbsp milk powder (Optional) , 1/2 cup of white sugar or powdered sugar ( or according to taste), mix it well and cook it for 2 minutes . Turn the heat off , take it out in a dish and let it come to room temperature. Follow the rest of the recipe according to my video for making the pastry and the cooking method. Regards Anita.
I will definitely try the coconut gogiya as per your recipe below Anita🙏 thank you so much. I highly appreciate it as I have no one physically present with me to guide me make Diwali sweets hence your recipe with demonstration are very very helpful to me ❤🙏 Happy Diwali🕉💟
